I dont really like talking about politics but for all of the non filipinos out there please pray to any deities you believe in for the Philippines and spread the news. The son of Marcos is running for president and is currently in the front. Marcos is a dictator who once declared martial law in the philippines which resulted in thousands getting tortured and killed. His son, bbm, and the rest of his family refuse to say anything about the allegations and called the martial law, “the golden age.” I know my voice as a minor doesn’t carry much because i can’t vote yet, but this election decides what my whole future will be. I do not want history to repeat itself. So please. :(

This past year I had the enormous privilege of getting to take part in the RAW Fanthology from Bad Influence Press, which really is THE cannibal holy book we all needed in our lives. Aimee and Tea have spared no expense turning that wild Kickstarter into an incredible final product, and I’m kind of stuck in a permanent state of awe over the whole thing. These. Books. Are. Stunning.
If anybody in the NJ/NY area missed out on the Kickstarter and is looking to get their hands on a copy of their own, I’ll be tabling at Atlantic City Boardwalk Con (table E2!) this weekend (May 13-16!) with a few copies available - If you know you’re gonna be at ACBC and want to go home with one of these beauties, you’re welcome to shoot me an email at [email protected] to claim one! This helps me get an idea for how many of these HUGE, HEFTY, BEAUTIFUL ARTIFACTS I need to make sure I load up and bring. Any leftovers I have after the con will definitely make their way online within a few weeks- I just don’t have the time to do the whole post office dance this month. Aimee and Tea will be updating the official RAW tumblr with info as soon as contributor copies start popping up for sale online, so keep an eye on @rawfanzine!
