Hey digital artists or anyone who wants to experiment with digi coloring! Krita is a free open source digital painting program. I created this PDF (also free) to take you through the process of removing blue pencil from scanned art and then adding color flats with a magical tool called “colorize mask”. Here’s an example of the colorize mask tool:

A little teaser: my new Skin Tutorial series is in the works. I’m adding 6 new natural skin tones and repainting all the old ones, plus a few fantasy skin tones. This is the revised “Ebony” tone.
You can see the tutorial develop on Patreon. (Nothing there yet–commission bound/Illuxcon prepping currently). I plan for this to be the first of many future tutorials because damn, I miss making them!
