Fun fact: These are Yum Yum Cupcakes, they were available at a food truck near Disney College Program housing, they are now featured in Downtown Disney at the food truck park! And believe me when I tell you they are delicious. The roommates and I were kind of obsessed.

On the 3rd day before Christmas my oven didn’t bake for me, instead we are deep frying some peppermint beignets!
These are inspired by the ones offered at Disneyland during the holiday season. It’s a peppermint beignet covered with candy cane powdered sugar.

Recipes
2 ¼ tsp Yeast
3 Tbsp Water (100º - 110º)
¾ Cup Milk
½ tsp Peppermint Extract
¼ Cup Sugar
¼ Cup Butter
1 tsp Salt
1 Egg (add into mixture with milk)
3 Cups Flour

Combine ingredients, allow dough to proof for an hour or until double in size. Deep fry until they expand and turn golden brown, 2- 3 minutes.
Combine candy cane candy with powdered sugar to create the candy cane dusting, sift over the beignets.

On the 4th day before Christmas my oven didn’t bake, instead we are deep frying some hot chocolate beignets.
These little doughnut like treats were inspired by the ones they offer at the Disneyland resort during the holiday season.
I gave mine a twist and decided to make them extra chocolatey by adding cocoa powder and hot chocolate to the dough. The ones at the park are the traditional treat sprinkled with hot cocoa and served with hot chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

Recipe
2 ¼ tsp Yeast
3 Tbsp Water (100º - 110º)
¾ Cup Milk (add hot chocolate)
¼ Cup Sugar
1 tsp Salt
¼ Cup Butter
1 Egg (I accidentally left this out, gives a more dense beignet)
3 Cups Flour
¼ Cup Cocoa Powder

Combine ingredients, allow dough to proof for an hour or until double in size. Deep fry in oil until they expand, 2 - 3 minutes.

On the 8th day before Christmas my oven baked for me, some ice cream sandwiches!
These little fluffy cookie cakes are inspired by the ones offered at Disneyland during the holiday season.
Feel free to change up the recipe by adding some peppermint to the dough and adding your favorite ice cream to the sandwich.

Happy Mothers Day!
This cake pop recipe is inspired by the cake pops offered at the Disneyland Resort. They are usually offered during valentines day but I thought these would also be cute for mothers day or fathers day or even if you want to gift edible flowers instead of real ones.
You can always use black candy melts and make them for Halloween :D

Recipe
6 oz Butter
2 Cups Sugar
3 Eggs
2 Cups Flour
¾ Cup Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
¾ tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
1 ½ Cup Milk
2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. I baked mine in a ¼ sheet pan.

• Chocolate Buttercream
6 oz Butter
4 Cups Powdered Sugar
½ Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
Pinch Salt
1/3 Cup Heavy Cream // Milk
2 tsp Vanilla Extract

• Sour Belt candy
• Red and Green candy melts for decorating
• Lollipop sticks or paper straws

• This recipe made about 2 dozen 2 inch roses

On the 5th day before Christmas my oven baked for me these Twice Upon a Cupcake from Walt Disney World!
There’s a few steps to this cupcake but cutting it open was so satisfying and worth the time.
A little cheat you can do is make two batches of vanilla cake batter, take 1 cup of the batter for the funfetti cones and a cup and a half for the red velvet, just add a ¼ cup of cocoa powder and red food dye.
You can also use the light bulb candies for decoration but I decided to pipe mine on so I dyed some frosting blue, yellow, red.

Recipes
• Vanilla Cake Batter
6 oz Butter
3 Eggs
2 ½ Cup Flour
2 ½ tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
1 ½ Cup Sugar
1 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
1 ¼ Cup Milk

• Red Velvet
2 2/3 Cups Flour
2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Salt
4 oz Butter
1 ½ Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Vinegar
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 tsp Red Food Gel

• Buttercream
8 oz Butter
6 - 8 Cups Powdered Sugar
¼ Cup Heavy Cream
2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Bake at 350º baking times will vary on each component. 20 - 25 minutes for most.

On the 7th day before Christmas we didn’t bake, instead we are making these cute Santa hat Mickey treats!
These are so simple to make and can be customized. Use candy melts instead of sanding sugar or get creative with your own twist.

Recipe
3 Tbsp Butter
10 Mini Marshmallow Bag
6 Cups Rice Krispies
White Chocolate
Red and White Sanding Sugar
Large Marshmallows

On the 10th day before Christmas my oven didn’t bake, instead we made some marshmallow wands!
These are inspired by the treats offered at the Disneyland resort during the holiday season.
These are so simple and fun to make and are delicious with the soft ganache. These are also best when chilled in the freezer for 5 - 10 minutes before enjoying them.

14 oz Bag Caramel Squares
11.5 oz Bag Milk Chocolate Chips
12 oz Bag Marshmallows
9 oz / 60 count Box Mini Candy Canes
6" Lollipop Sticks
¼ Cup Heavy Cream (for chocolate chips)

You can always just use chocolate melting wafers instead of the ganache, I don’t recommend candy melts due to that not being real chocolate.
