i have put lil bowls of water all over the house and will hide lil treats everywhere so that my dogs can drink enough on these extremely warm days and have something nice to look for and distract them
Took a short holiday by the seaside. It was cold and windy, but so beautiful. Also, I am certain that everyone there owns a dog - how great is that? Maybe this will be me one day..
I’m a dog person so why must my cat be so fucking adorable, it’s really confusing, he tricked me into having him in the first place by being a kitty, he then grew into a cat and now I’m stuck loving the spawn of Satan, what is this.
If you can withstand those cute puppy eyes then your heart must be frozen to the core. Or you’re a cat person. Cat persons are just not a dog persons. They would melt at some cute kitty eyes though which does leave a dog person unbothered.

As a kid I always remember myself being surrounded by several huge dogs. Back in the eighties my dad was given a Doberman puppy as a thank you present by one of his patients, he fell in love with the loyalty of that particular breed & we bred female Dobermans ever since.
So you could say I’ve always been a “dog person”.
Then 2 years ago Caligula, the Angry Pussy entered my life. Cats do not give you the unrequited love of dogs. Feline love is spartan, discreet & one needs to work damn hard for it. But in my darkest days, Caligula’s permanently furious face never fails to make me smile. That fluffy creature is far more effective than ANY antidepressant I’ve tried (and I have tried them all). It is remarkable how much comfort animals can give us & how much we can learn from them.
