Hey everyone, I haven’t been active in a long long time but I’m here to say I’m going to start posting again. I’ve missed this blog and will start posting regularly soon.
It’s really too bad I do not have before/after photos of what happened to my catnip plant. At the time of its death, it was 2 ft tall and 2 ft wide. It was a big happy plant.
Then I went away for the weekend, leaving my very pregnant cat in the apartment. (With a box in a quiet place, since I figured she might pop while I was away.)
I came back to a container of dirt on the table, no catnip left to speak of, and a very stoned cat under the bed…and five very extremely stoned and baffled bitty balls of fluff kittens who had no idea why the world was so far out, man.
Mommy and babies were stoned for a week straight.
Whooaa. Duuude
Not gonne lie, there was ugly cackling reading that story.

I know my parents cats always got dry cat nip and were fine buuuuuut, My roommates cat got a sinus infection from sniffing the dry cat nip. The vet told us you should always moisten it so that your cats can’t sniff it up. They’ll still enjoy it and have the same effects.

Sorry for the lack of updates the past few days! Our artists are hard at work on the cover art, and I’ve been working on coding the game, so none of us have much to show for our work at the moment! That doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about this game, though.
I’ve been really inspired by LARME magazine as of late, so I did a little doodle of what catnip might look like if she were a model for that magazine! I guess I should get back to programming, in any case.

Whumpee didn’t have another choice.
The woman was playful, almost harmless, sniffing and rubbing her face on him, well, at least at first. It was bad already, he held him too tight and her claws scratched his skin from time to time.
But it was only when she started tossing him from one side to another like a ball that he made something about it. He forced the smell to stop, it was refusing to be himself, but he had no choice.
His body aching and his slightly greenish brown skin was covered in dark bruises when the woman stopped.
“What did you do?” She hissed, her sharp teeth so close to his face.
“I I didn’t.” He lied, “It it I have no no control and-” he whimpered at a new hiss, “….far far from home.”
Whumpee cried fearful, trying to knit the lies with some truth, “I’m I’m not home, I I can’t control this anymore it’s it’s on seasons,” she will kill me, she will find out the truth and kill me, “It it’ll come back but but I don’t know when. I’m sorry.”
The woman frowned at that, and he was sure she would rip him apart right there.
“Boring,” the woman said, finally letting go of him after one final sniffing.
The woman left after that, he can’t get down from the table anyway, it’s not like there is a way out.
His legs weakened and he fell on his knees, his head was starting to hurt and his stomach was starting to turn. He wasn’t supposed to suppress the smell, he would rot slowly if he did, but the woman would kill him if he didn’t.
Whumpee shivered in place, everything on him wanted to back away, but one more step back meant to fall from the table to the hard floor, meant to break so manybones.
“Please,” he begged weakly when the huge hand came closer, lifting his chin with the tip of the finger, “Please don’t- don’t hurt me please I-”
“Shhhh” the woman said with a playful smile, her cat ears moved shortly towards a sound outside and back at him right after. She was looking down as if he was a prey. He is. “You are so small…” she said, pinning him down with her finger.
Whumpee hissed in pain when his back hit the table, “Please, please don’t I didn’t- didn’t do any-” the rest of the words died out when the woman’s snout got closer, close enough to touch the tip of her nose on his head as she sniffed him for gods know the reason.
“Why do you smell like that?” She asked, not stopping sniffing, she didn’t wait a second to speak again, “I made you a question!”
Whumpee swallowed hard, “I-it’s a p-p-plant, I I-” bright tears streamed down on his cheeks, “I-I’m a a plant plant fairy, sorry, sorry.”
The woman’s eyebrows arched, “Which plant?” she held him up, pressing him against her face, “I don’t know this smell.”
“I…” he struggled to remember the word non-fairy uses the plant, “C-cat-” he managed as the woman rubbed her face on him, “catnip.”
