This is by far one of the most important tools for a drummer. It seems easy enough and passable without trying, but the actually practice of these patterns, the process of the changing form of time, will teach you to control time within any “beat” or rhythm with greater intuition. Hands, then feet.

I’m sitting here banging drum sticks against my Crosley and my amp and I realize that’s fucking idiotic.
Actually on second thought all Crosley record players should be beaten and dismantled so I guess that part’s fine.
Also I tuned my upright bass 2 whole steps down and it’s so wonderful I almost forgot about the Holocene extinction.
