You know, I’m overdue for posting some more of my fan novelization for Our Life: Beginnings & Alwaysby@gb-patch. What say we continue the Step 2 moment Road Trip snippet I posted here? Jamie and Cove are still awkwardly trying to get closer to that line between friendship and something more. It’s so hard when you have a crush on your best friend isn’t it? It’s especially hard as a young teen.

“What do you like for another person, Jamie?” Cove asked, the words coming out so delicately it had been a wonder that he managed them.
It took Jamie a moment to register the question, and all she could think of was every detail about Cove - from his eyes to his hair to his face and physique and just… “Everything about you.”
The words slipped out of Jamie almost of their own accord, but she did nothing to take them back.
Cove gasped at the admission, his eyes widening in shock as his mouth fell open. There was no hint of tease to her tone, no trace of exaggeration. Her voice was as delicate and earnest as he had ever heard it. He went utterly still, unable to do anything but stare at Jamie as his face burned even hotter, his blush practically reaching all the way to his toes.
It was a lot to hear. Jamie knew that. She lost count of the amount of times she had called Cove cute, but this time felt different. It was as if she had come just one step short of an outright confession. She had overwhelmed him, but she couldn’t find it in herself to regret telling him the truth; she adored him.
Now they were both flirting with each other. More than that, now they both knewthat they were flirting.

#AggressivelyArospecWeek (#AAW) is a week-long event promoting the creation of arospec fancontent by arospec creators. (Arospec = on the aromantic spectrum. If you’re currently questioning whether you are yourself arospec, please feel free to join as well.)
Our event aims to create a space where arospec creators are free to explore their identities through fanwork. We believe that fandom is a great way to share our passions, our interests and to empower one another in our arospec identities. All while having loads of fun!
Please join us from June 19 to June 25 2022 and enjoy a small explosion of arospec fancontent on you dash. Bring it to other people’s dash and help our community share its stories!
You’re welcome to submit any type of content for the event, whether it be fanfic, headcanons, mixtapes, fanart,… Really anything goes!
Any content you submit must be centered around a character’s arospec identity (whether that character is canonically arospec or you headcanon them as such.) Content can be about any fandom whatsoever!
To submit, please make a new post between June 19th and the 25th and tag it as #AggressivelyArospecWeek. You can also submit your work directly to our blog through the askandsubmission boxes. Your post will then be shared on the Aggressively Arospec blog.
We also have a Twitter account, so use the hashtags #AggressivelyArospecWeek and #AAW22 if you tweet about your work on there. You can also mention us in your tweet (@ AArospec) to be sure we don’t miss it and can retweet it. Please, do submit through tumblr if you can though! That is the best way to get your contribution archived with all the others.
Lastly, a collection will be opened on Archive of our Own to round up all the fanfics posted on there. Just search for “Aggressively Arospec Week ‘22″.

Tbh I think many people take for granted how much gif makers do, and the fact that this site is unique in their existence of them
Thank you to everybody with the skills to share snippets of media I would not otherwise have seen or had the opportunity of hearing of. Gifs are often the first way I hear of something personally, and frequently the reason I give any new-to-me movie or show a try
