At the end of the day, you choose who you visualise in your head. However, dont get mad when it has nothing to do with the actual canon. But mostly, try not to spread around your misinformation because that’s sometimes what cause harm and not actually the bad writer/writting.
It’s a dream come true. You get to live in the world of your favorite book. With all your favorite characters. And you can even decide if you want to be human or fae or grisha or demigod or wizard or atlantian or whatever.
But there is one catch. You have to tell the characters about every fanart or fanfic about them you ever made, reposted or liked.
I wanted to keep track of and try to read as many books as I could this year, but due to our family having the worst start to 2022, I haven’t yet. So, I’m finally doing it and I just want to write some notes and stuff - how long it took, small reviews, I don’t really know, but I’m going to pin it to the top of my blog as a constant reminder to actually do it. Also, if anyone wants to check out what I’ve been reading, I’ll update this list as much as I can. Or if you have any recommendations, I pretty much love all genres except horror/sci-fi stuff. <3

~ So, yes, I finished this in one day. I stayed up until 6am reading most of it and then finished it after work on the second day. I could not put it down, it was so good. I was looking for a royal themed book to start with and this was a twist on the trope that I just loved. The twist/reveal at the end is something I actually did not see or predict, even though it seems obvious now that I know. Beautifully written, and I am about to start 2/4 right now. ~

~ This one took me a little longer because the buildup of the first quarter(ish) of the book was so slow to me. But once it got going again, I absolutely loved it. The fights/little battles in the forest are always some of my favourite scenes to read because I myself find it extremely difficult when writing combat. It’s really cool to read those scenes written really well, you know? I’m gonna be so obsessed with Poppy and Casteel for a long while, I know it. They are perfect. And again, I actually wasn’t expecting that ending, despite the fact it seemed almost obvious. I have just two more words to say… hot springs ;) ~
