Grandpa Aramil (he/him) is an old elf cleric who worships Sokil-Rod (the Ukrainian pagan first-god of life). He witnessed his worship of Rod thrive and then crumble in favor of other gods. Since then he traveled from village to village, helping people in hopes of reviving and spreading his knowledge and religious beliefs. Aramil hasn’t heard the voice of his god for quite some time and he is convinced of everything being a sign.

A drawing of a Dungeon&Dragons character. Aramil is an old elven man of medium build with wrinkled bronze skin and numerous moles. He has long naturally grey hair that he wears part loose and part in a bun. The bun is decorated by a tortoise shell comb with small opals along it’s base and a gold-plated brass handle is the shape of a falcon with its wings spread. There is a circle around its head with three rubies at the top. This comb is his holy symbol that he uses to channel the Divine magic energy. Aramil has long pointy ears that go somewhat downward. His eyes are silver.

Aramil’s clothing is inspired by traditional Ukrainian clothing. he wears a long white shirt with red and black geometric embroidery that drapes to his mid-calf area with two slits on each side that go from hip to the bottom. The bottom of the shirt has floral embroidery with a big bright flower in the middle. The shirt is worn over white sharovary (wide pants). On his feet there are postoly (old Ukrainian shoes) with floral embellishments over a pair of onuchi (cloth pieces that are worn on feet and tied with a string). He has a wide red belt with geometric designs. Aramil has a scaled vest over his clothes of light purplish metal and deep red edges. On the bottom of the vest there are decorative hanging pieces that remind scales in their shape. He also wears metal greaves (leg armor). He has a wooden cane with a metal foot that rests on his arm.

The images contains a full-sized portrait of Aramil as well as two bust portraits. One of them portrays him with a happy smile. In the other one he is casting a fire spell, his silver eyes and dark eyes of a falcon on the comb glowing with golden light.

Gyrahor-Kirin Amarillis (he/they) is a half-forest elf bard from the Bisaft Post. He never knew their father, and mother left the Bisaft Isle while he was still a child. Effectively, Gyrahor-Kirin was raised by his grandmother. Through the years they developed an interest for myths and legends and dreamed of travelling to the far corners of the Menagerie Coast and beyond in search of local folklore. He and his childhood friend Olga Codorn (she/her), a forest gnome rogue, left their hometown to pursue their personal goals. Now, they’re working in Nicodranas, while mysterious happenings came onto their place of work that the party of colleagues set to unravel.

Three artworks of a Dungeon&Dragons character. Gyrahor-Kirin is a slim half-elf with long legs and copper tan skin. His freckles are of a greenish blue hue and his eyes are warm green and hazel brown towards the center. They have an undercut and his long black hair is gathered into a ponytail, which has small braids and decorative wooden beads throughout its length. They have a bit full lips with a light moustache above, hooded eyes and pointy ears.

His clothes are inspired by traditional Ukrainian clothes. Gyrahor-Kirin wears a white shirt with full sleeves and red and green embroidery, deep blue sharovary (wide pants), knee-high red boots, leather waspie corset and leather bracers. They have golden emerald stud earrings and a pearl pendant with gold, diamonds and deep blue enamel.

The first picture is his head-and-shoulders portrait, the second one is his full-size portrait of them sitting with a bandura - large traditional Ukrainian string instrument with painted ornaments of triangular and floral motifs. The last picture is Gyrahor-Kirin standing in a somewhat fancy costume. He has a white shirt with deep collar and a bishop sleeve that has golden embroidery in the collar, cuffs and sleeves. There is a deep set light warm green vest with golden floral motifs all over it, as well as a red belt with gold embellishments. They also wear deep green sharovary with golden plant motifs towards the bottom and red boots with pressed ornaments. Gyrahor-Kirin’s head is adorned with a golden headpiece with circular elements that cover the ears. His hair is gathered into a a long braid and he has golden eyeshadow.

Transformation [monotyping]

An artwork inspired by Ukrainian folklore, the figures are: a girl who is transforming into a mermaid and her father.

Monotyping is a technique where paint is spread on the paper to form random blobs which are then used as a silhouette for lining.

Princess Allura

Allura has her hair pulled backwards with two braids that go from her face to the back of her head, forming a hoop shape, the rest of the hair is loose, it’s kinky and cloud-like. She has a tiara on her forehead with a triangular cyan gem in the middle. She wears golden stud earrings with drop-shaped purple gems as well, her ears are pointy and elf-like. Her lips are slightly parted and she is smiling softly. She wears her royal gown: it’s a white bodice, a blue bust with a golden trim and a short blue mantle over her shoulders with golden trimming, a golden button on the neck and two rhombic cyan shapes near it that go outwards. The background is dark muted purple. Allura has a golden circle around her head as well as three sparkles, two being two the left and one being to the right. There are two large diagonal cyan strokes with a textured brush at the bottom of the painting.
