Made for a friend / client who LOVES my owls, these guys are a cuddle friendly owl design based on my flying plump owls I made years ago, but now bigger (7″ tall) and made with minky. Shows painted eyes version on left and safety plastic eyes on right. I am still calling these guys plump owls!

I’ve made wings for her on my embroidery machine and decorated her with meticulous embroidery and lace.
To my etsy I have just added lace destaches for dollmaking, crafts, jewelry, etc. I’m also planning on doing a drop of these sitting monsters early January in different colorways, some with wings and some without.
Hey! AGAIN! I’m working on mini dolls now as well as custom larger dolls! <3 I’m having a lot of fun; the majority are based on patch designs I’ve made but the pumpkin girls are new to the block so please welcome them, even though they look a bit like Karens.

I have levelled up my skills so much since I last posted–my machine embroidery design skills (those pumpkin leaves are my first freestanding lace pattern! I even got the swirly vines in! :D), my dyeing skills, etc; just overall in general I am proud of where I am going. I will try to post my bigger dolls I’ve made here as well!
