One word to perfectly describe Lucy would be uptight. Lucy is a huge stickler for the rules, and she typically has to keep her relatives in line, for they can get into trouble quite a lot. Lucy is typically seen studying, constantly striving to obtain top marks. She’s an overachiever, and a people-pleaser. The person whom she tries to please most is her father. Lucy loves her father, and tries to do what he wants for her. He wants her to, essentially, be perfect. And a large part of her wants to be perfect too. But there’s a part of her, a small, minuscule part, that wants to let her hair down, completely drop her studies, and travel the world. Lucy has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and sometimes, reading about them in textbooks just doesn’t cut it for her. Although she craves travelling, she knows that she can’t. At least not until she graduates Hogwarts, and even then, she isn’t positive that her father would deem it acceptable for her to leave her family, her home, and her future. 

Lucy is the younger of Percy’s two children, but you wouldn’t know it unless you asked. Lucy and her sister  are close, but polar opposites. Whilst Molly is more brash and blunt, Lucy likes to sit on the sidelines and rationalize things. She is extremely intelligent, sorted into Ravenclaw due to her thirst for knowledge. Lucy is Percy’s last chance to make it right with his family. He figures that if he can’t do right by himself, he might as well do right by his daughters. This puts copious amounts of pressure on Lucy to be the perfect daughter; she’s expected to be a prefect, have top marks, play on the Quidditch team, and work for the Ministry of Magic later in her life. She had grown up believing that she had always wanted to do these things, but now she isn’t so sure that she wants to join the Ministry. However, she would never tell her father, for it would absolutely crush him. 

Lucy is very much a “daddy’s girl”, mainly because she’s exactly like him. Both are sticklers for the rules, both strive to be at the top of their class, and both are selfish. Though Percy’s selfish days are nearly over, Lucy’s have just begun. That’s not to say Lucy is unkind; in fact, she’s extremely nice to those who are kind to her. Lucy just does what she can to get ahead. Lucy can be quite manipulative when she needs to be, but she feels guilty almost immediately afterward. Lucy is relatively close to her family, probably being the closest to her cousin, Lily. Lucy and Lily are both the same age, and they’re in the same house. Though their personalities are quite different, Lily was all Lucy had when everyone else was away at Hogwarts having the time of their lives. Lucy views Lily as a sister, and almost hates being without Lily. She feels anxious, like anything bad could happen. Lucy is far too knowledgeable in the darkness of the world to ever be innocent and happy, and she’s almost jealous of Lily for having the ability to be optimistic about the world.

Sweet natured and kind, Angelina MacMillan was sorted into Hufflepuff House the second the Sorting Hat touched her head. She had beamed and flounced off to the Hufflepuff table, where she was welcomed with open arms. Having grown up under her father, Ernie Macmillan, Angelina had always had House pride for the yellow and black- and along with the House pride, she had the values that Helga Hufflepuff deemed necessary for her House all those years ago, drilled into her head since childhood. She values patience and loyalty above all, making her one of the best mates to have around.

Following in her Dad’s footsteps when he was her age, Angelina aligned herself with the Order of the Phoenix. Although she herself was a Pureblood, her family and heart completely renounced the archaic Pureblood values. The Sixth Year is an incredible asset to the Order, for with her caramel eyes and quiet demeanor, Angelina has the talent of easily fading into the background if she so wished; yielding in her being a treasure chest of information. With her silent footsteps and alert nature, the Hufflepuff is by no means a front-line warrior, but an extremely important, behind-the-scenes informant. The Order heavily relies on Angelina to find out when the Knights of Walpurgis initiations are, and who of their classmates to target so that they cannot become initiated into the Circle.

Angelina likes her place in the overall ‘society’ of Hogwarts. She loved her friends dearly and was respected by everyone around her except for the Pureblood elitists who took her and her family for ‘blood traitors’- yet Angelina MacMillan wants a change. She no longer desires to be the quiet, demure one. The brunette secretly yearns to learn how to speak her mind and say what she believes, especially with the Order of the Phoenix at Hogwarts becoming an increasingly larger force. Whereas she understands that her duty as informant is invaluable, Angelina wants to gain the confidence enough to fight on the front lines- make her mark on the war and in making sure that the Wizarding community becomes equal once and for all. She just needs to figure out how to get over the barrier standing in between her and the Angelina she aspires to be.

Nymphadora Black is the daughter of an unexpected union. Her father was a registered wix infiltrating the underground while her mother was an unregistered rebel spying on the Muggles’ wix agents. They were never supposed to fall in love; as far as each know, the other never did, and was merely trying to cajole information from a target. Edward doesn’t even know he has a daughter; he thinks Andromeda vanished to avoid arrest, not to hide a pregnancy. It was Andromeda’s little sister who convinced her to have the baby, thinking that they might someday find it valuable to have something like that to hold over a government agent’s head.

Born as little more than a potential bargaining chip, Nymphadora surprised everyone by proving to have so much value as a spy herself.

That isn’t usually a skill one inherits, no matter how talented at spying one’s parents are, because it ought to be a matter of training not birth – but Nymphadora is a Metamorphmagus, which makes her ideally suited to conceal her own identity and even imitate others. It didn’t take much tutelage at her mother’s knee for her to hone those talents to their highest degree, and she started participating in anti-Muggle activities at a young age despite Andromeda’s fears (just as she had with Ted, she found herself caring about her “little insurance policy” a great deal more than she’d intended). She’s never been involved in anything as dangerous as her current role, however: completely taking-over the life of a rookie agent of the Unnatural Intelligence Department. It’s been surprisingly easy – even fun at times – to impersonate Colin Creevey, which sometimes worries Nymphadora because it makes her forget the danger. She has to remind herself that the friends she’s made aren’t really herfriends, and probably won’t have her back if they discover the truth. She wonders if her dad will, if she ever has to play the last-ditch card of telling him who she is…

OLIVER WOOD | THE BEST OF BROS  Oliver was Colin’s best friend, or work friend, or something. Nymphadora figured this out the first day on the job and has made sure to invite Oliver to the pub no less than six times since then. In some ways now, he’s more her friend than Colin’s…isn’t he?

PERCY WEASLEY | CRASH AND CLATTER it all went downhill when Nymphadora – wearing Colin’s face of course – visited his office. Or, more accurately, it all damn well shattered. Nymphadora is still pretending she totally didn’t do that but she’s pretty sure Percy doesn’t believe herColin.

REMUS LUPIN |  MANTHER HUNTING  the only thing weirder than walking in on your older cousin experimenting with doggy style at sixteen is realizing ten years later that you wouldn’t mind chasing that wolf yourself, so to speak. Too bad he seems more than a little interested in running twice as fast whenever Nymphadora comes around. Good thing she’s fast!

Pansy Parkinson is half the girl she used to be, so it’s a good thing she started off so much more than ordinary. A child of the Caravan, she grew-up outside the smothering yoke of government control and regulation; grew up wild and free and unfettered. Maybe a few more rules to follow wouldn’t have gone amiss; maybe that would have curbed her reckless streak before she stepped so far out of line that the Ministry could snatch her up and carry her away.

But rules are for people who worry about the consequences, and Pansy has suffered far too many consequences to be scared of a few more scars.

Growing up as best friends with the Malfoys’ pet project prepared her to find her stitches beautiful at least, and she didn’t scream when she saw what they had had to do in order to put her back together again after she escaped Pandora Lovegood’s laboratory. She did scream when she realized how much it hurtto try and separate herself from her new best friend: Marietta Edgecombe, the girl she escaped the Ministry with, and now the girl who holds half of Pansy’s heart in her chest. That’s not some touching metaphor; the two of them were in such bad condition when they made it back to the Caravan that the only way to save them was to fill in the holes in one with the pieces of the other. Lovegood had made the link, but the Malfoys were the ones who found a way to use that to repair the damage she had done – or at least, to compensate for that damage. Some things are too broken to ever be repaired, but Pansy isn’t the meek sort of wix who nods and accepts her lot in life even when she doesn’t like it. She learned a lot about Muggle science while she was being cut open and cut apart, lessons that as far as she knows, nobody else has bothered to apply to magic. Now that she – with Marietta’s help of course, because she can’t do anything without Marietta’s help these days – has nothing left to lose and everything to gain, there’s nothing to hold her back from doing whatever it takes to find the answers she’s seeking…or at the very least, to distract her from her own suffering by making sure someone else is suffering worse.

HARRY POTTER | ITS ABOUT YOU AND ME  Most would say it wasn’t Harry’s fault. He was only a baby when he was taken – but Pansy knows that’s not true. If the mudlovers hadn’t grabbed him then, they wouldn’t have come back for her. That makes it his fault. If only she could hate him as much as she wants without thinking: what did the Muggles take from youthe way they took so much from me?

MARIETTA EDGECOMBE | SHUT UP AND DANCE  If her second half would just stop sniveling for five minutes Pansy would be happy as can be. She relies on Marietta, she likesMarietta – it’s just, sometimes, she drags her feet a little too much. Pansy keeps trying to tell her there’s no point except reveling in everything they have now. They almost had nothing.

DRACO MALFOY | PINKIE PROMISE  Even growing up in the Caravan, children will be children and one day Pansy made Draco swear that together they’d change the world. Laying traps was a good step to take, they thought, until Pansy was captured and now, even though she’s back, everything has changed.

Anyways here’s the result and the static image that’s hecka more high-quality because I didn’t take that into account when making a gif lol

On a completely different note I’m interested in traversing through the Harry Potter Roleplay scene here with some homemade animated gifs (as advertised). How would one go about that?
