Haruma Miura, who portrayed Eren in the 2015 Japanese SnK live action film, has passed away on July 18th, 2020 at the age of 30.
Haruma was a respected young actor with a prolific body of work, including lead roles such as Sakurai Hiroki in Koizora,Kazama Ren in Gokusen, and Kazehaya Shota in Kimi ni Todoke. He also portrayed the iconic Lola in the Japanese stage version of Kinky Boots.
It wasn’t a lot of time, but we did work together not long ago. He was a really straightforward person who was always considerate of people around him, someone who had a warm and kind heart. He was an outstanding actor.
We promised each other to go to a restaurant together and have a nice chat.
Haruma-kun You were such a wonderful person. Why has this happened? I’m so regretful.
I wanted to meet you earlier in my life. I wanted to talk more with you.
I always respected you.
Tokyo Police have announced that the suspected cause of death was suicide.

The toughest thing about this job is knowing that you rarely get a full night’s sleep, but somehow always trick yourself into thinking that the blaring sounds of a six a.m. alarm will dissipate. The days seem to get longer and begin to blend to the point where I don’t know if I have ever experienced a moment of rest at all. Garcia shares the same weariness as I do – after a particularly long week and not a long enough weekend – as my fingers hastily type a message to her.
I almost fell asleep while eating cereal, getting corn flakes in my hair would not have been a good look for me.
I cross through the main floor of the BAU, heading in the direction of the elevator, the button signalling to go up was already lit, I assume from the gentleman beside me. Seconds later, a low ping sounds from my phone, followed by another.
You had time to eat? I barely had time to strap on my favourite pair of heels :(
I didn’t get any sleep either, I positively look insane.
As I’m about to text back a response, the screen sporadically glitches and fades to black, sending me out of cyberspace.
“Goddammit,” I mutter, earning a glance from the man on my right. “Just technology problems,” I point to my phone, “you pay so much for these things and half the time they don’t even work properly.” He gives me a sympathetic nod and a forced smile, he does not know nor does he care, and I don’t understand why I felt the need to give him some sort of an explanation.
My phone has been exhibiting minor issues ever since I accidentally knocked it off my desk last week, sending it and myself into impending doom. I ran my thumb over the scratch that cracked through the top left corner of the screen.
Suddenly, the blackness that was there a few seconds ago flashes its way back to life just as the elevator doors open. I walk inside and press the designated floor number while simultaneously unlocking my prior conversation. My fingers work at a rapid pace to send her, a much deserved, complimentary response.
GUYS!!!!! I am so excited right now! Ok just RAN a 5k! RAAAN! As in NO stopping to walk! I had no idea I could do that! Sure, i was jogging at a snails pace and moms with strollers could probably lap me, but stiiiiiill!!! I also got negative freaking splits! I am so pumped and so ready to work on getting faster! And going further! Half marathon I’m coming back for you!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a grown woman turn THIS red. King’s Tide gave us the origin of ‘Mittens,’ but Post Hoot has shown us where the idea of Tomato!Amity and Tomato!Alador came from, clearly. This whole part of the stream was hilarious from start to finish.
