Ayeeeeee, I actually wrote something! I’m proud (kinda). It’s a Hawks x reader one shot kinda thing and I finished it today. I’ll edit and post it tomorrow so stay tuned for that. It’s kind of angsty but not a lot (Atleast in my opinion).

After the longest 4 weeks of trying to let my body work itself out, medical intervention has finally been shoved into high gear. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Kevin Rogers my urologist. The effort and time he took to listen to me today and my concerns is a level I’ve only ever experienced one other time in my medical journey throughout the years. He was compassionate and literally walked me through his whole debating process today to bring a good solution so 1) my physical health wouldn’t continue to get worse 2) my day-to-day life wasn’t going to continually be impacted immensely due to my pain level, extreme nausea and fatigue.
I will be having surgery on Tuesday to remove my nagging kidney stone.
I’m relieved for a game plan finally mapped out, but terrified of how long I will be off work. One of my best friends organized a GoFundMe for me to help with my medical and living expenses while I am down for the count. If you are able to spare anything I would appreciate it beyond words. I know everyone is struggling right now as well, but anything that can help me pay my expenses will help - rent, bills, groceries, medical bills..ect as I will be unpaid during my recovery. Even if all you can do is share the link, that will help.
Thank you for always supporting me and I ask for prayers for an easy surgery and a quick recovery.
I’m no stranger to surgery, so that part I’m not really too worried about. Its the recovery and removal of the stint that I’m not looking forward to. I will have to remove the stint myself several days after surgery as long as everything goes according to plan and it is giving me goosebumps lol. So, if anyone here has had experience in removing their own stint I’d love to hear from you!
