Crassula perfoliata var. falcata (Propeller plant)

Such a stunning succulent! The flowers are just out of this world, not just the bright colors, but the texture and shape.

Do you grow this baby?

As with many succulents, they like lots of sun and love to let their soil dry in between watering sessions. Mine are potted on the ground and get full sun and foggy mornings & evenings.

Have any of your plants been mislabeled?

Now that the fenestrated leaves are fully open, definitely can say it is a rhaphidophora decursiva. They were mislabeled.

Regardless, I’ve enjoyed growing her for a bit over a year. When I first saw the first fenestrations, I wanted to cry

I definitely love the dark green color and the texture of the leaves.

What do you like about your current favorite plant? Reblog and share it with me.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that I planted these bougainvilleas when my stepdad and dad passed away.

I live on the central coast of California, and it gets foggy and it is a bit more chilly. And even though bougainvilleas love lots of sun, they are growing and look at all the blooms! Makes me so happy!

If you’ve lost someone, get a plant in their name. Make a commitment to take care of it and grow it. Doing so has helped me so damn much!

The plan is to grow the bougainvilleas and make a wall. On the bottom, I’m going black berries and making them fall down the container.

New Office Shelves! How many plants do you see? Do you recognize the bottle used in my pothos on the top left?

We took the bookshelves out and Jared built new ones on the wall. This opened up the space a lot in this room and gave us more space for books & plants of course.

(Disclosure: Books are to my husband, what plants are to me )

We have fenestrations!! I’m screaming help me share this!

This is such a gorgeous plant. I provided high humidity and accurate watering (based on finger test) and medium indirect light.
