“i love you,” he calls. you’re only heading to the grocery store to pick up a few things, but its always been in jaemin’s nature to be dramatic, and right now is no different. “it’s not like i’m going to war,” you giggle, “i know.” he says, his hand gripping yours to stop you from walking any further. “so..?” you reply, a brow raised. you look at your hands intertwined, and then back up to him, where he’s now begun pouting. “say it back,” he whines. “why?” you whine back, mocking him.

“because,”

“because?”

“cause i said so.”

“…no.”

he stands up at that, hand still holding yours, dragging you into his chest. his eyes hold yours with an intensity that would make you uncomfortable if you didn’t know him so well.

“youalways say it back,” he murmurs, leaning his forehead against yours. he grabs your other hand, shakes your arms slightly. “come onnn,” he hums, “please?”. your resolve gets weaker and weaker by the second, and you sigh.

you could never say no to him, anyway.

“…fine. iloveyoutoo,”

“what?”

“i love you too,” you growl, playfully. “don’t push your luck,” you warn, but even you can’t fight the smile threatening to split your lips. “see?” he says, smirking. “now gimme a kiss,” he says, dropping his voice half an octave in that way that sends shivers down your spine and makes your heart speed up a little. his lips brush yours, his hands come up to rest in your hair, fingertips lightly massaging your scalp.

you think you could get lost in this feeling of jaemin - like he’s there but not quite there - for eternity if he’d let you. “hey,” he mumbles, “you gonna let me kiss you or what?”. you hum in assent, and he nips your bottom lip - just barely, not enough for you to complain - before capturing your mouth with his. they’re short, intermittent; but his lips are soft all the same.

jaemin’s ardent and devoted in his love for you - there’s not a single day he doesn’t show it. he’s a leo, he says. it’s in his blood, in his genetic makeup to love you as loud and as open as possible - and it shows. as he pulls away, his eyes fluttering open, dilated, dazed, his voice hoarse - he speaks. “don’t be gone too long, yeah?” its a simple statement, simple question, even. but its the vulnerability in his voice that tells you it’s loaded with something more. he wants you to come back to him - because he doesn’t know how he’ll function if you don’t. you have his heart and soul in your clutches, after all.

“you know i won’t,” you reply.

Mark:Why?

Renjun: Haechan some of us need to watch TV in here.

Haechan: Go tell that to your whore.

Renjun: That was my therapist, she was giving me her number just in case of an emergency.

Haechan: Why don’t you call me in an emergency?

Renjun: Look at what you’re doing right now. I’d call Jaemin first he’s helpful albiet odd.
