Coming “home”.
A lot of you don’t know me, personally; or how much of my life was spent studying fiber arts, the industry, and how that had a phenomenal impact on my business; how I make my products, and (in certain ways) how having an education in the Fiber Arts distinctly makes my products unique and different to those that are similar on the market, so I want to start an open Q&A dialogue on this post, where you can ask anything about my life in the arts, my time in Philadelphia, my work load, my focused study at Tyler….Ask me anything. My husband and I are planning a road trip (April 9-10) , where I can properly introduce him to the city that started it all for me. I’m proud of the city that provided me with my education. I’m proud of my school for creating an atmosphere where we were challenged to think outside the many artistic boxes we encountered. And I’m proud to be a Tyler School of Art, Temple University 2012 alumni. I ❤️ Philly, and what it has enabled me to give back to you, my customers and fellow artists.

The shawl is worked sideways with open cable panel on the right side. It gives a lot of options to wear the shawl and drape it around a neck.
Both of my samples are knitted with @knit_picks Hawthorne Multy yarn .

My Molokai Shawl pattern designed for MissBabs book club is now available as individual download on @hi.ravelry
It’s two color asymmetric triangular shael worked sideways in garter stitch with etelets and mosaic patterns.

I’ve been obsessed with #laceknitting lately. This is fresh off the needles, the “Faux Russian Stole” #shawl. Knit it for my mom, enjoyed every stitch. Yarn-silk mohair @romniwools. Now back to my Shetland lace project.~Lana
That time when you have tons of yarn but haven’t enough the one for finishing a big project (granny square blanket) so you turn in a life the line of small projects.

Spring cleaning in a knitter’s home: umm.. it seems it’s time for crocheting a blanket of all useless tails of yarn from another projects (and clearing a place which is usually taken by three bags of staff)
