I’ve been looking for an lgbt movie to watch that has the same energy as love, Simon/ love, Victor but with queer women. All of the lgbt movies about women are basically pornography and I’m kind of sick of it. Does anyone have any recommendations?
ok don’t hate me but I didn’t really like this it was cute and all but idk man, I was kinda bored. I don’t really watch movies like this for that reason ALTHOUGH I am very grateful that there was absolutley NO noah centinio cause they definitely could’ve tried to fit him into this movie somewhere. Overall a cute story and it is definitely better for being gay no debate. if you are a fan of high school romance movies absolutley go for it but from me a 6/10
Shelter is one of my favourite movies!! Highly recommend!! You should totally add Date and Switch to this list as well. “Two high-school seniors make a pact to help each other lose their virginity before their prom, but their mission takes an unexpected turn when one announces that he’s gay.” It’s super funny and has a great cast.

Synopsis :
It’s the summer of 1984 – Margaret Thatcher is in power and the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is on strike. At the Gay Pride March in London, a group of gay and lesbian activists decides to raise money to support the families of the striking miners. But there is a problem. The Union seems embarrassed to receive their support.
But the activists are not deterred. They decide to ignore the Union and go direct to the miners. They identify a mining village in deepest Wales and set off in a mini bus to make their donation in person. And so begins the extraordinary story of two seemingly alien communities who form a surprising and ultimately triumphant partnership.
