The Lotus Flower symbolizes spiritual enlightenment and rebirth. In Buddhist and Egyptian culture, the flower represented the Universe. In Hindu culture, it is said that gods and goddesses sat on lotus thrones. And according to Buddhist myth, the Buddha appeared atop a floating lotus, and his first footsteps on Earth left lotus blossoms.
In Buddhism, the White Lotus is a symbol of the journey from the depths (representing materialism and selfish emotions) to supreme Enlightenment, Nirvana.
The Hindu goddess of knowledge and the arts, Sarasvati, is most often depicted sitting on a large white lotus, dressed in an embroidered white saree and usually accompanied by two white swans. White here symbolizes the purity and power of knowledge.

This rising was the turning point of this retrograde drama in my life! I woke up and went outside to relieve myself and right there in front of my eyes in the stream behind the house was a beautiful White Lotus smiling at me It was then that I knew that things would be just fine. That every challenge that comes into my life has a beautiful ending if I can go deep within and get the lessons that I need from the situation without taking things personally. I’m grateful to my challenges for showing up exactly how they did and in this time..when I have the awareness and mindfulness to take action to correct my ways and level up this whole mission up!! ✊LETS GET THIS WERK!

Tibetan prayer flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras will be spread by the wind and bring good will and compassion to benefit all beings.
Tibetan tradition considers prayer flags to be holy. The flags contain sacred texts and symbols and should be treated respectfully. They should not be placed on the ground or put in the trash.
When disposing of old prayer flags one should burn them so that the smoke may carry their blessings to the heavens. Do not let prayer flags touch the ground as they are burned.
Traditionally, Tibetan prayer flags come in sets of five, with one flag in each of five colors, left to right in this specific order: blue, white, red, green, and yellow. The five colors represent the elements: blue symbolizes the sky and space, white symbolizes the air and wind, red symbolizes fire, green symbolizes water, and yellow symbolizes earth.
You may also choose to let your old Tibetan prayer flags fade and disintegrate naturally, hanging new prayer flags up with old ones. The contrast between old and new prayer flags is a reminder of impermanence and the continuing cycle of birth and death.
