As much as i like Marcy Wu, i dislike how some fans downplay her characters flaws and her toxic parts of her personality that makes her so interesting in her place.

¨#literally the entire point is that her good intentions still led directly to basically every conflict in the entire series#and that even though she hadn’t tried to hurt anyone she still did#the whole ‘it doesn’t matter who you were it matters who you are now’ still requires you to acknowledge your mistakes#otherwise you’ll never see the ways in which you still need to grow#i love Marcy and also I totally would open the music box without question#which is why I’m a good authority to say that her being a bit fucked up is what makes her the character she is#she’s not the same person if everything gets boiled down to ‘she’s just quirky like that lol’¨
