This weeks type lesson is on the arm. The arm of a letter is the horizontal stroke on some characters that does not connect to a stroke or stem at one or both ends. Check out Danger Horse on Behance for more!
Over at @dangerhorsedesign we are doing artworks inspired by song lyrics. The plan is to put on an exhibition later in the year, so stay tuned if that’s your sort of thing. Here’s mine for this week!

Some personal work fromJames, one of our lead designers.
Throwback to our delicious custom designed chocolates we created as a promo item last year. I think there’s still a few laying around, reckon they’re still good? Check out our Behance for more!
Alvie Closet is an up and coming singer/songwriter from costal Victoria. Designing the cover for her first EP was an enjoyable process involving a lot of work with shapes and colours. We wanted to incorporate a costal theme without making it the main focus and we found that heavily editing one of our own travel snaps was an effective way of doing this. To check out Alvie Closets tunes, look her up on Facebook or head to her Band Camp page!
Designing our website was, as with most personal branding, a bit of a drawn out process. We had endless ideas and due to having no requirements beyond our own we played with a lot of different concepts. Eventually we settled on this warm but clean layout, featuring clear information and a splash of tropical imagery. We’re pretty stoked with how it came up!
