Hello everyone!
Apparently, I finished Mermay challenge, i feel this is enough for me now,, 22 paintings of mermaids on a daily.
Thank you so much for whoever supported me by liking and commenting on my arts! I wouldn’t say it’s easy, it’s actually very exhausting to do that type of commitment, but i’m glad i’ve made my best! And learned much.
Again thank you so much i hope you enjoyed my drawings as much as i’ve put my heart and efforts on it❤️

and despite the jumble really REALLY specific elements, the character design is FUCKING AWESOME!. once i’d thumbnailed it a few times it is really REALLY cool.
So this was a commission for a client looking to get something personal for a playmat as well as to hang on their wall, the piece was a huge endeavor but the end result is… pretty awesome.

wanted to experiment a little with adding more paintwork than i usually do, made for a faster piece with this lovely dusty effect, just it’s a little weirdly dusty in the end. still nice, love this brush but it compresses into a strange pattern

haven’t gotten time to paint for myself a while so maybe overdid the mad garble of colour that this turned out to be.
NOT sure I am fully sticking to this as the riverdwelling counterpart to the Ukrebant but for now rather happy with the piece.
And needed to do a little more for #mermay.
