RUMORS | 24k Series #2

Miya Atsumu x f!Reader

(Y/N), one of the most successful actresses, got caught up in a rumor with MSBY Black Jackals’ setter Miya Atsumu. A feud kicked off between them when the actress denied the initial rumor, but the setter claimed it to be true, for fun.

  1. My Type

#past.

Lingering touches faintly seem to caress your back, ghosts of unwanted memories surging from the deep box you made sure they were buried in. Sad, broken eyes - but not really, not anymore - trace the figure of you standing across the street, a bit off kilt and your head in bubble wrap. You can hear, even smell, the memories resurfacing when you see his face, not long forgotten, always marked in carbon behind your eyes. They taste bittersweet, and seem far older than you give them credit for: but it’s been years, even from the last time you thought about him, or that past you still would like to keep forever on the bottom of a drawer in the back of an your head. He’s just that kind of man: one you can have for a while to yourself, and whose memories might warm you up in the coldest of winter nights - but they fade away with time, leaving behind the unconscious void of something-never-quite-there. You can’t explain the surge of feelings, slithering around your back and inside your veins when looking at his form, his lithe steps and the way he holds another girl’s hand and smiles openly, as if nothing could ever bring him grief or regret. And you smile a little bit to yourself, because maybe that is the truth, and the thing you certainly did not have, was not much a thing at all to him. And it would make sense, because as smiles and bruises, heated whispers, choking gasps, the cold wall behind your shoulder blades and the hot mouth kissing the world away, flood and replace your surroundings, he is not looking anymore. He walks past you, shoulder against shoulder and you keep walking ahead, not knowing whether he does turn his head around, even if you can guess where the heated gaze on your nape is coming from, and faintly touching the point he used to worship right above your collarbone, near a little mole you never noticed. The day ticks away, as the arrows on the clock run from each other, but a photo on your old phone refuses to let you leave. It’s him, just standing there - smiling, carefree, yours. But then you look at your phone, and it is your husband calling, and you feel like the time to toss that other phone away has come. A finger hooks on it, and presses the ‘off’ button, tossing forever away the memories, the faint smell of morning sex and wilted flowers, the burnt cigarettes and the idea of him. The past has enough of that, already - and there is no space for it now. Not here. Not with you. Not anymore.

synopsis in which you stop by your ex’s place to get the last of your things, putting the last nail in the coffin for the both of you

This was a bad idea, not only you said this but your best friend who had told you multiple times, had said this. But you couldn’t just leave them there. And it was definitely out of the question to return to you and Atsumu’s messages and awkwardly ask him to drop off your stuff.

You shuddered at the sole thought of it.

Though, as you stood in front of his familiar apartment door, memories flooding back, you considered the latter. No matter how awkward or selfish it was.

The longer you stood at a stand still, those memories began to rage. From the first time you walked up to it. To all the lighthearted times Atsumu held you against it, the both of you laughing and giggling as he would place butterfly kisses all over your face, never forgetting that sensitive spot on your neck.

And of course you couldn’t forget the pouring night you and him put the final nail in the coffin for your relationship.

Now that, made you shudder.

You didn’t like recalling that moment. It still felt fresh considering it was just two weeks ago. But it just came back whenever you thought you had finally rid your mind of Atsumu completely. It flooded you with guilt and a smidge of regret, even though the split was mutual.

Thankfully, there were no tears shared. The realization hit you when had got back to your own apartment, in dry clothes and warm sheets, your best friend convinced you to immediately delete all your pictures with him. You still remember vividly the salty tears that welled up in your eyes.

You always wondered if the same happened to Atsumu when he deleted your photos together too.

“Alright,” never did you expect you’d be giving yourself a pep talk outside your ex’s door, but here you were. Bouncing on the balls of your feet, preparing yourself like you were about to run miles or score a winning point for your team.

But no, it was none of that. Just preparing yourself to get the last things that connected a string between you and Atsumu.

“You can do this. Just in and out.” You inhaled deeply and let it go slower than you anticipated. Why did this have to be so hard?

Finally, shaking off your jitters and doubts, your raised a fist to knock at Atsumu’s door. But you practically froze when you heard the stalling of footsteps behind you.

“Uh, ___?” No, no, no. One those balls of your feet, you slowly turned to face Atsumu. He looked confused to say the least. Who wouldn’t when their ex of two weeks is at their door?

You cleared your throat. “I—uh— hey, I was just here to— uh— pick up my stuff, you know?” Atsumu’s face relieved itself of the confusion, practically saying ‘Ah’ just by the expression.

“About time,” he makes the joke but doesn’t full on laugh himself. It misses you with too, a too soon on the tip of your tongue. Though it really wasn’t, Atsumu had gotten his stuff from your place last week. You wonder if he had been waiting for your stale text for the past week.

Atsumu clears his throat like you had done. “I should open the door.” He whispers and glides past you. Silently, you follow him. Almost letting a quip to retort back to him but you knew you guys were not at that stage of comfortability anymore, far from it. And you bet you guys were never going to reach it again.

You follow him inside and see that many of the lights are already on, so you assume Osamu was inside. The image of him opening the door on you before you could get to knock because he heard your stupid pep talk creeped up on you and you cringed.

Yet his head of brown didn’t pop out anywhere to point at you and laugh like he did when you used to do things like that. There was going to be no more that either, the realization made you frown.

You stayed behind Atsumu through the layout of his apartment, walking around here was like second nature to you, you almost had the urge to walk beside him. But you kept you distance, even in his bedroom where you guys would spend sleepless nights talking about anything but nothing at the same time.

“I think it should be over here.” Atsumu headed to a corner of his room, definitely referring to a crate or box where he had stored your things. And bingo, he was. The box was quite big like the one your best friend helped you pack with his stuff.

No surprise because this apartment was your second home. First really if you thought about it.

“Here.” Atsumu said, but he made to move to hand it over to you. It was like he was soaking up his last moments with your things, and possibly with you.

And it wasn’t like you made a move either. Deep down your felt that regret. Walking in here did not help with your want to move on. It just made you realize how much you missed it. How much you missed your relationship, and how much you missed Atsumu.

Only seconds ticked by before Atsumu jutted the box out to you but it felt like hours. You accepted it, muttering a quiet thank you.

“I should get going.” You said, it was in a sad tone and you’re sure he caught that. You took a single step back to distance yourself.

Atsumu nodded, agreeing silently. He led you out of his room, and without any words, you said good bye to it and to the hallways with the scratches and dents, to the living room where game and movie night would happen, to the kitchen where Atsumu would hover over you whenever you cooked. You’d especially miss the slow dances to old rnb, that was a memory you treasured.

And like you wanted, you were in and out. Standing on the opposite side of the door while Atsumu stood in the threshold. You weren’t going to give your self a pep talk this time around, now it was time to say good bye. Not to the door, but to Atsumu.

His eyes were sad, and you could assume yours were too. “So,” he started, scratching at his nape.

“So,” you copied. There was a silence before Atsumu unexpectedly let out a laugh.

“I’m sorry— it’s just— I never imagined us doing this.” He took the words right out of your mouth. You and Atsumu used to talk about your future together frequently, especially about marriage. And now those talks would have to be forgotten.

You nodded. “Me either,” you smiled weakly. “But it’s for the best right? This what we both wanted?”

Was it?

Atsumu’s mouth twitched like he wanted to say something different other than, “Right.”

Another silence came between you two, which Atsumu shattered again. “I guess I’ll see you around campus, yea?”

You hummed. “I’ll see you.” You edged back a bit, still somehow holding eye contact with Atsumu. The image of you guys having one of those dramatic movie scenes where you just run back into each other’s arm and say how much you regretted ever breaking up played in your mind.

But that didn’t happen. You finally said goodbye to Atsumu with your eyes, turning away and walking down the hallway for what you expected to be the last time.

Standing in the elevator, you came to terms that breaking up with Atsumu was definitely something you didn’t want. Yet, it seemed like things were already set in stone for the both of you.

Chapter 15: Explain This To Me.

Atsumu isn’t stupid he’s known he should ask about Haruka’s mother.

Yet he couldn’t do it he distinctly distracted not only himself but Haruka as well.

He always found topics to avoid it and it was a miracle those annoying paparazzi weren’t around the reason for that was because of Yuina.

That’s why attention surrounded him by nosy Paparazzi who could post something online that could cost him his career.

He stared at the little boy who was happily smiling eating his ice cream.

Haruka noticed Atsumu staring at him so he turned around showing him a cheeky smile

“The ice cream is good!”

Atsumu smiles patting his head.

“Alright bud.”

……..

He turned the TV off  Laid next to the little boy who instantly breathes a sigh of relief knowing his Idol/Temporary dad was there to make him feel safe.

Atsumu looked at the sleeping boy who resembled him so much.

Flashback

Papa can we go get so icecream?

“It’s a bit late ain’t it?”

Haruka’s pout stabbed Atsumu in the chest.

“Alright bud lets get to the sto-”

“Uncle Tsum-Tsum!”

Atsumu froze and turned around noticing his brother who raised his eyebrow looking at the little boy.

“He’s not my kid I swear!”

Atsumu said frantically trying to explain the situation.

“Woah! Papa he looks like you!”

Atsumu looked at Osamu who had a serious look on his face.

“Meet me tomorrow at work and ya better explain yerself idiot.”

“Don’t call Papa and idiot ya idiot!”

Haruka stomped his foot trying his best to glare at Osamu.

“Not yer kid huh.”

Osamu said to himself.

“He’s not!”

Atsumu said picking him up.

“We’re going home.”

“What about the icecream?”

“I have cake at home.”

Haruka’s eyes sparkled.

“I like strawberry cake!”

“Atsumu nodded and walked away leaving a frowning Osamu.”

“Tsumu yer so stupid the kids the splitting image of ya.”

……

The Next Day

Explain Yerself idiot.

“W-What is there to explain.”

Atsumu said not facing him.

“That.”

Osamu pointed at the little boy who happily ate the Onigiri.

“It’s just some kid.”

“Some kid?! What the hell are ya doin’ with just some kid?!”

Atsumu looked away.

“I don’t know it’s just I can’t get rid of him.”

“What do ya mean?”

“I don’t know! I tell myself to drop the brat off at the police station but I just can’t do it!”

“Idiot! What if his parents are looking for him!”

“That’s the thing…”

Atsumu looked away.

“He doesn’t have a dad and his mom is away.”

“Why do ya care don’t ya apparently hate kids!”

“I know I just don’t hate this kid for some reason ok!”

“That ridiculous!”

"He reminds me of someone I know.”

“What yer not making any sense!”

“He reminds me of..”

“Spill it! Already they’re obviously important if yer keeping around a kid!”

“He reminds me of (Y/N)! Are ya happy idiot!”

“W-What?”

Osamu said a bit confused.

“(Y/N)?”

His eyes widened.

“(Y/N)?!!?!”

“Papa!”

As if on cue the little boy ran to him.

“What is it bud?”

“Well this onigiri is so good! It’s like the one mama makes!”

Atsumu nodded while Haruka turned around.

“I’m gonna go play with Yuji”

(Haruka was so excited because Yuji was the name of the cousin he was supposed to meet for the first time!)

“Hang on a minute.”

He turned to Osamu and tilted his head.

“If this is actually him.”

Osamu mumbled.

(I can’t just tell the kid it’s me and Yuji over the phone it’ll be a dead giveaway.)

“Yes Mr.?”

“What’s yer name?”

“Haruka!!!”

The boy grinned and then dashed to Yuji.

“H-Haruka?”

Osamu felt confused then looked at Atsumu.

“Why is he with ya?!”

Atsumu glared

“Why are ya yelling!”

“Answer the damn question Tsumu.”

“I just ended up with a kid! Alright I don’t know what exactly happened!”

“So a kid just showed up are yer door and called ya papa.”

“No! The thing is..”

……

TimeSkip

“Well how are ya gonna deal with this.”

“He’s not my kid that’s all I know!”

“Really.”

“Yeah watch!”

“Haruka!”

Atsumu called causing the little boy to rush to him with a big smile.

“Look at this Samu.”

Atsumu picked haruka up holding him while both faced Osamu.

“Doesn’t look anything like me yeah?!”

Osamu raised his eyebrow noticing them.

(Is he an idiot.)

“Papa!”

The little boy looked at him excitedly.

“Tomorrow can you show me how to serve the ball?!”

Haruka’s eyes sparkled while atsumu nodded.

“Alright bud.”

“Yay!”

Haruka’s eyes sparkled while atsumu nodded.

“Alright bud.”

“Yay!”

“I’m so happy to be taught by the best setter!”

“I know right!”

They both went to Lala Land while Osamu just rolled his eyes.

(He’s in denial that must be it.)

My brother isn’t that stupid.

………..

Osamu sighed standing up.

“Well my wife is probably getting angst that we’re not back so we’re gonna head out.”

“Atsumu nodded”

“Ya know Samu I don’t see why ya got married I mean domestic life suits ya but it’s just don’t ya get bored?”

“No I don’t.”

Atsumu shook his head.

“Man having to deal with an annoying wife well at least she’s hot but still with a kid?”

“What’s that supposed to mean.”

“No don’t get me wrong I love my nephew it’s just I don’t wanna deal with an annoying brat.”

“Seriously.”

“I mean it!”

He shook his head annoyed.

“How can parents stand kids I would go insane dealing with a brat!”

“Really.”

“Yeah! I mean I hate kids! I don’t want those little gremlins near me!”

(He can’t be that stupid)

“I see.”

“Yuji let’s get going.”

The little boys rushed to greet the twins.

“Now little Haruka right?”

Haruka nodded and smiled

“I’ve decided I’m gonna take ya to yer mom’s hotel.”

Haruka’s eyes widened as he smiled.

“I get to see mama?!”

Osamu nodded.

“Alright go pack yer stuff so we can get go-”

“Hold on a second!”

Atsumu said picking up Haruka.

“What are ya doing Samu!”

“What’s wrong Tsumu?”

“Ya can’t just take a kid!”

Haruka looked at Atsumu and smiled hugging him.

“Tsumu the kid has to go home.”

“I know but I haven’t finished teaching him volleyball!” Osamu walked closer. “I’ll take better care of him and teach him.”

“No! He’s staying with me!”

“I thought ya hated kids.”

“Well not him!”

“Idiot ya said in general!”

“Haruka’s different!”

“How is it different.”

“I don’t know I..”

“Ya need to expl-

"It’s different when he’s my kid!”

Atsumu paused realizing what he said shocking both twins.

“Well now.”

“I meant it’s different if he’s a lot like me!”

“Sigh, are ya sure about this?”

“Yeah! When I’m done I’ll give his mom an autograph and problem solved! Besides what kind of mother leaves her kid alone!”

“Especially Haruka.”

Atsumu rubbed Haruka’s back. “He’s sensitive and needs to be constantly taken care of.”

(My brother is an idiot.)

……….

Atsumu POV

He sat in the kitchen confused at his words.

“Samu was right I should have just handed the kid over.”

Atsumu gripped his hair. “It’s not that he doesn’t wanna get rid of him well maybe a little bit.”

He walked to the kitchen and opened the cabinet staring at the results.

“Is he really my kid?”

Atsumu shook his head.

“No, it can’t be I’m always careful.”

“Then why….”

He gripped the paper.

He always took precautions…

……….

“Papa!”

The little boy ran to him knocking him out of his thoughts.

The familiar chocolate brown eyes stared at him with a wide grin. Atsumu couldn’t lie that this was starting to worry him.

“What if Haruka was his son?” No I was set up she took advantage of this and must have given me a fake paternity test.

Sigh… What the hell was with my reaction earlier

Atsumu furrowed his eyebrows and sighed. “Oi Haruka.”

“Hm?”

“So if I had a kid I’d become a dad.”

“Well yeah!”

“Do you think I’d make a good dad if I had a kid?”

“No not really!”

“Ha!” Atsumu felt a irk mark appear. “Just kidding.” Haruka giggled and ran to hug him. “You don’t need a kid!”

“Why is that?”

“You already have me!”

“You’re my Papa!!”

Atsumu’s heart swelled as he picked the boy up spinning him. “There’s not way in hell yer my kid.”

“I know but we can pretend for a while!“ They laughed at each other.

….

Atsumu felt at home and his heart beat once again just for a little while he’ll enjoy this.

"Me bein’ a dad..”

“Impossible.”

“Yet this kid..”

“Is so much like me..”

“No..”

“I can’t get to attached.”

“If I do I’ll be hurt again.”

“I’d lose another important thing in my life.”

“(Y/N), what if we had a kid.”

“Would ya still be with me if we did?”

“No, ya said you’d get rid of it.”

Chapter 13: Yuina Darcia

“I absolutely despise my fiancé’s hair color.”

She read it and sighed putting her phone down as her name was called in the salon.

“Ms. Yuina have a seat.”

The hairstylist said and smiled.

“Now then Ms. Yuina, what will we have today?”

She sighed

“Let’s go with a basic black.”

She nodded

“You know Ms. Yuina! It’s and honor to be doing your hair!”

“Ahuh.”

She took out her phone and sent a text message

“Black hair like you said.”

He didn’t reply after she sent the message.

……….

She walked out with her new hair color and entered her hotel.

“It’s almost time to go back home in just a few days”

She looked at the ring in her hand

“Atsumu…”

She took out her phone and dialed his number.

“I heard what happened and I didn’t get a chance to reply because of my modeling career but it’s odd that he hasn’t replied to me.”

The phone ringed a couple of time before he answered.

“Hello.”

“Atsumu?”

“What I’m busy did ya need something.”

“Well I was just wondering how you’ve been I mean you’re ignoring me.”

“I’m not and I’m busy I gotta go.”

“Do you have a fling tonight?”

“No I’m done I don’t wanna deal with annoying pigs.”

“Really?”

“Yeah why’re ya so surprised.”

“I mean I’ve stopped seeing men to.”

She blushed

……

Meanwhile

Atsumu noticed the little boy who waited in the kitchen patiently although seemed to be getting less patient by the second.”

“What are you up to Atsumu?”

“It’s not important just focus on what yer up to and hang up I gotta go.”

“I’ll be back in a few days can we spend the night together?”

She said blushing over the phone

“I’ll order us a fancy dinner and we can spend it at a hotel together?”

There was no reply until Atsumu yelled at someone over the phone.

“Wait! Yer gonna fall on yer face idiot!”

Atsumu rushed to the little boy.

“Atsumu?”

He didn’t bother paying attention as Yuina spoke until he got irritated and spoke.

“Alright whatever just message me and remind me later.”

She ended the call and smiled.

“Is he finally falling in love with me?”

………

Meanwhile

“Papa!”

Atsumu backed up picking haruka up

“The pancakes are burned.” Atsumu sighed annoyed

“Mama makes the best pancakes!”

He smiled

“When I meet her I’ll be sure to have her make me some pancakes.”

Haruka smiled

“Ok!!”

Chapter 11: Why Me!

“Wait here brat and go to sleep.” He looked at the little boy telling him to stay put. “Go to bed.”

Haruka nodded walking to the bed

“Are ya gonna be with me?”

“No I have someone coming over so no matter what ya stay here! Go to sleep so yer stomach doesn’t hurt.”

“Who’s coming over?” Atsumu flicked the boys forehead. “Don’t ya worry about that and go to sleep.” The boy got up in the bed. “Are you gonna read me a bed time story?”

“Seriously?”

“Yer a big kid right do ya need one?”

Haruka pouts “I like when mama reads them to me”

“I ain’t yer mom kid and from what I can tell she spoils ya to much now shut yer tap and sleep got it?”

Haruka nodded a small frown was plastered on his face. “Will you tuck me in?”

“You’re a big boy get to sleep.”

“Please I get scared if you don’t..”

“If I do it will ya shut up and give me peace the rest of the night?” Haruka nodded as Atsumu tucked him in.

“A kiss?”

“No ya already asked to much! Get to sleep like ya promised.”

………

(Y/N) POV

“Where is he! I thought that was him! Shit!”

I stepped into the dark alley using the walkie talkie

“I think I just missed him go left!”

I put it away rushing to meet my partner

“Let’s catch him.”

“He’s stupid to stay in Hyogo in the abandoned buildings. It won’t take months it’ll only take a few days this guys and idiot.”

“Well he may be stupid but what does that make us?!”

I yelled at him. “Ah dumb I guess?” I face palmed.

“It makes us look like fools running around letting him get away after chasing him!”

“We’re doing good we found him earlier than expected!” I sighed

“You have a point I mean they said we’d probably take up to a year if we missed him but he’s still here so we’re fine I suppose.”

“You’re a bit stressed out why don’t you calm down?”

“I just wanna see my son as fast as possible I don’t like the idea of him being in Osaka to long.”

……….

Meanwhile

“Miya…”

The woman moaned as he kissed her neck when she started to unbutton her shirt falling on the bed they both continued their session.

“You know you’re an even bigger turn on with your bruised body.”

“Shut up and get on yer knees show me a good time.”

She unbuckled his pants and revealed his member.

“You’ve got yourself quite the stress reliever now let me take over big boy.” She took him as he grown touching the back of her head and thrusted.

……

The little boy turned around and woke up having a nightmare noticing the unfamiliar dark room.

“Mama?” There was no response realizing he was alone in the unfamiliar room that now seemed scary and started tearing up.

He got up and heard noises across the room.

“Mama I miss you..”

He poked the side of his tummy and winced.

“Ouch my tummy hurts.”

He started crying clutching his stomach feeling the stitches and lifted up his shirt and noticed them for the first time.

“What is this it’s something scary at it’s making my tummy hurt.” As his eyes adjusted to the dark he saw dried blood around the stitches.

“Papa..” He said without thinking in the moment Atsumu was his day of hope from the scary dark room.

He began to wail and scream sobbing stepping out of the room looking for Atsumu.

…….

Meanwhile

“Did you hear that? She said as he laid her on the bed standing over her

“Son of a bitch.” Atsumu muttered under his breath.

“I didn’t hear anything” he said trying his best to ignore the little brat in the room across the hall.

He leaned in and kissed her slipping his hand under her shorts but before he could remove them the sobbing grew closer.

“Shit.”

He said under his breath annoyed he got up. “I’ll be right back.” She nodded while he pulled up his pants.

……..

He opened the door walking into the hallway noticing the sobbing boy.

“Waaaaaah” He wailed “I wanna see Mama!!!”

“I wanna go home!!!”

“Oi brat!” Haruka noticed him and ran to him hugging his leg.

“Papa! I wanna see Mama!!”

“Dad?”

“What the fuck?”

He kicked the boy. “Get off me!” Haruka fell back hitting his head on the wall and wailed even louder.

“Waaaaaaah”

“I’m trying to have sex here and I have to deal with ya.”

“That hurt!” The boy clutched his head

“What’s wrong now?!”

Haruka touched the back of his head. “It hurts… I wanna go home!!!” He got up and looked at Atsumu. Papa I’m scared please don’t leave me…”

He sobbed.

“Stop calling me that.” Atsumu said sighing walking closer picking him up and Haruka instantly fell into his embrace sobbing quietly.

“Just get to bed alright?”

“I promise tomorrow I’ll take ya to get some ice cream”

(Then I’ll get rid of ya dumping ya at the police station since Samu can’t even take care of his own kid how was he supposed to take care of Haruka)

Author note: Osamu takes good care of his son.

“Why didn’t I just do that to begin with.” Atsumu sighed

“Let’s go to bed M’kay?”

Haruka nodded and instinctively wrapped his hand around his neck tightly snuggling into him.

“Oh my what is this?”

Another fucking headache. He turned around and noticed what was supposed to be his fling for the night she had her clothes on and smiled.

“I didn’t know you had a son.”

“He’s not my kid.”

“You don’t have to lie don’t worry your secrets safe with me she walked closer looking at the little boy who noticed her the turned his head hiding into Atsumu’s neck.

“Isn’t he just so cute! He looks just like you!”

“Here let me hold him.” She tried to grab him but Atsumu back up. “He’s fine here don’t touch him.” She raised her hands “Okay I won’t touch your son.”

“He’s not my kid for the last time.” Atsumu said getting annoyed

“What ever you say baby!” She blew a kiss

“Call me whenever you’re free so we can finish what we started babe!” She leaned in kissing his cheek and was about to pat Haruka but Atsumu backed up.

(Don’t touch him with yer filthy hands)

She laughed. “You just make sure your son’s asleep this time!” She walked out and left.

Sigh, he walked to the guest room.

“Here get to bed ya ruined my night are ya happy now.” Atsumu’s glare softened as he noticed the boy

“Let go kid.”

Haruka clung to him.

“No please don’t leave stay.”

Atsumu sighed giving up setting the boy in on the bed and layed next to him.

“Thank you papa..”

He said clutching onto his shoulder snuggling into him.

“There’s no way.”

“I had a baby with someone..”

…………

Tsumu! The boy turned around noticing the five year old who ran to hug him.

“Let’s go play!” Atsumu nodded

“Yes! I brought my toys!” She smiled pulling him away from the other kids who bullied him.

“Later we can play volleyball!” He said while she nodded

“Yes let’s play!”

The little boy hated whenever someone else took the (H/C) girl away from him.

Couldn’t they see he belonged to her and she belonged with him.

Hence forth Atsumu practices his glared to scare off the boys who even dared to walk to her and talk to her.

“I love ya Tsumu”

“I love ya too (Y/N).”

…….

He forgot everything when he was with her.. She was his escape from all the irrelevant things in his life.

With their confession their lips met.

……….

“Tsumu! The older girl hugged him while he hugged her back.”

He smiled noticing her engagement ring and then looked at his own hand which also had an engagement ring.

“Tsumu!!!” She whined while he laughed and hugged her tighter.

“Hey darlin’ what’s up?” She blushed looking away kissing his cheek

“Well I was thinking we should name our baby Atsumu Jr..”

Yeah no sweetheart our baby can’t have my name he’s gonna take after his mommy.

“What do you suggest then!” He touched her slightly swollen stomach.

“Haruka..” He smiled

“Of course I love it..”

He kissed her lips and hugged her tightly

“Thank ya for loving me and giving me a chance to make a family with ya..”

Wait just a minute

“Haruka? Isn’t that the name of the brat?”

“Atsumu?”

He looked at her shocked

“What’s wrong?”

“Yer pregnant?!”

“Yes I am pregnant why are you acting so weird.” She giggled.

“You’re gonna be a dad aren’t you happy?”

……

His eyes snapped open to meet similar chocolate brown eyes.

“The fuck!”

He threw the little person who fell.

“Mr. Atsumu!!” He ran and jumped on his stomach.

“Ugh.” He winced feeling his bruises ache.

“Haruka yer crushin my organs!”

“Sorry…” He grinned hugging him.

“I’m glad you stayed with me and didn’t leave me alone here!”

“Whatever brat let me sleep.” He fell back on the bed and plopped his head on the pillow.

“I made you breakfast!”

Don’t tell me.

…..

Ya seriously wasted my whole gallon of milk and my cereal is all over the floor.

He looked at Haruka meeting the little boy’s smile.

Chapter 10: That Brat Isn’t Mine I Tell Ya!

He walked to the park and noticed the little boy sleeping on the bench shivering from the cold as his tears slipped.

“Mama, where are you.”

Atsumu sighed feeling relief picking up the boy who instantly wrapped his arms around his neck

“My tummy hurts really bad.” Haruka wimpered.

“Alright I owe ya a favor for trying to protect me it’s just this once.”

He headed back home

…..

He set the boy on the couch and covered him which a blanket.

“My tummy hurts.” Haruka sobbed in his sleep quietly.”

“What’s wrong with the kid?”

Atsumu noticed Haruka’s shirt had a bit of blood so he lifted his shirt a little exposing the patch that covered the stitches.

“That’s gotta hurt.”

Flashback

“Mr. Miya!” The nurse put on a fake smile and handed him a little bag.

“What’s this?” He looked at her confused.

“Here is the prescription for your son!”

“Ha?!”

The little boy stepped out and walked to Atsumu clutching to his pants. “Mr. Atsumu I found you.”

“He’s not my son damnit so shut yer trap!”

He glared at her and threw the prescription pills on the floor.

“Keep him here! I don’t want this kid near me!”

“Sir I’m going to call security and you’re going to get arrested for child neglect.”

She smirked which ticked him off.

“You’re son needs to be taken care of.”

“How is he my kid!”

She took out a paper that confirmed it

“The test matched your blood as father and son.”

He glared and grabbed the papers reading then.

“The heck.” His eyes widened as he looked at the results then looked at her shocked seeing her smirk.

“Bullshit! I’m being set up!” He pointed at the boy who didn’t understand anything of their conversation.

“This brat isn’t mine I tell ya!”

“Take the kid or we’ll make sure you’re arrested.”

“Fine! I don’t care!”

“You’re going to just abandon your child? Seriously? It’s your own fault for not keeping your dick in your pants.”

She said disgusted

“How cruel take him or I’ll ruin your reputation!”

“I’ll make sure everyone knows!”

He looked at the nurse.

“It’s non of yer business! Leave him here and I’ll get outta here!”

She looked at him frowning.

“Remember me?”

“No I don’t just take this brat.”

“Pfft figures.”

“I told you not to play with women now face the consequences!”

She pointed at the little boy who spaced off looking at the tv which was on the cartoon channel while he clutched onto Atsumu’s pants.

“He’s so cute congratulations Miya Atsumu you’re a dad.”

“Yer a bitch.” He spat.

“You’re stuck with your son now take him and leave.”

“He’s not my son ya planned this!”

“He’s your child take him and go or I’ll ruin your reputation like I said.

“Fine!” He grabbed Haruka taking him outside.

“Keep up kid or I’ll leave ya behind!”

……

End of flashback

“Shit I left yer prescription pills at the hospital.”

He walked outside and took out his car taking the little boy laying him in the back.

“Don’t fall.”

“Dad don’t go and leave Mama.”

He said clutching on to Atsumu’s long sleeve sweatshirt.

Atsumu frowned pulling away. “I’m not yer dad kid.”

…..

He walked to the hospital and entered the office and noticed the nurse who smiled.

“How can I help you?”

“I uh… left some prescriptions earlier and a kid needs them.”

He said embarrassed

“Name please?”

“Um my name?”

She nodded

“Atsumu Miya.”

“Atsumu Miya the volleyball player?!.”

“Shh.”

“You were here earlier!”

“I’ll go to the back and get them!”

She walked back handing them to him

“Here! They’re for your son right?”

“No! He’s not my son!”

He said startling her and sighed annoyed giving up denying it at this point.

“He’s my brothers son”

“Ok then!” She smiled handing them to him.

…..,,,..

He walked back to the car holding a water bottle that he bought in the hospital he got the boy from the backseat sitting the kid in the car who opened his eyes

“Mr. Miya my tummy really hurts.”

He teared up

“Alright here I got the medicine take it.”

He handed the boy his medicine and took it drinking water with the pill.

“It’s gross.”

“I know I hate taking pills to they taste awful.”

……..

He grabbed the sleeping boy and set him in the guest bedroom.

“Kids are such a pain.”

He walked back and noticed the time.

“I’ll hand the kid to Samu tomorrow and he’ll find his parents.”

…..

Atsumu opened his eyes slowly to find out a similar pair of brown eyes staring right into his.

He jolted and the little boy giggled.

“Your awake!”

“What the hell kid ya almost gave me a freaking heart attack what are ya doing here!”

“Well I remembered you brought me here! Your house is really nice! I made you breakfast!”

“What?”

……

“Ya have to be kidding me.”

He looked at the mess in his kitchen and looked at the boy who handed him the cereal Which was actually fine.

Ya made all this mess for just two bowls of cereal!

Haruka raised two fingers

“One is for me!”

“This is why I hate kids.”

He walked to the table which had spilled milk.

“I hate cleaning.” He usually had his flings do it.

Speaking of flings he had one set up tonight.

Why you ask? It’s because he’s trying to forget about the boy in front of him.

Chapter 9: Yer So Annoying!

He was discharged from the hospital looking around at every corner making sure he wasn’t noticed it was dark already even so he still felt the need to look around.

“I’d rather be caught dead than this.”

He looked at the boy who trailed behind him and rolled his eyes.

“What are ya a fucking duck?” Atsumu walked faster purposely while the boy noticed and walked faster with his little feet trying to catch up and tripped falling on the ground.

“Hurry up kid.” He said annoyed.

“My stomach hurts Mr. Atsumu.” He sniffles whining and touched his aching head.

“Don’t ya start crying!” Haruka sobbed causing Atsumu’s patience to run out even faster than earlier. “Shut up!!” He yelled causing the kid to whimper

“My head and tummy hurt so bad..” He wailed and atsumu noticed his nose began to bleed.

“Ya even hit yer nose earlier stupid clumsy kid.” Atsumu glared

“What do ya want! I’ll anything to just get ya to shut the hell up!”

“Carry me?”

Atsumu sighed irritated picking him up and headed to the direction of his house calling and Yuber.

He walked in wearing his disguise along with Haruka who clung to him.

“Where are we going?”

“We’re going to my place.”

Haruka nodded closing his eyes.

No way in hell was Atsumu staying at a hotel to be discovered by someone that apparently this was his son.

“As much as I wanna get laid I have to deal with this kid.”

…….

The Yuber dropped him off

“Thank ya.”

Sure thing Mr. Miya I have to say your son is adorable.

He looked at the little boy who clung onto his neck.

(Right Uber has my name.)

“Keep quiet he’s not my son alright?”

He smiled nodding alright. Atsumu stepped out closing the door.

……….

Yuber Man POV

That’s definitely his child.

……

Haruka smiled and talked nonstop causing Atsumu to roll his eyes.

“Shut yer trap already yer so annoying.” He said under his breath

“Mr. Atsumu I’m so happy you’re with me!”

Haruka said smiling hugging him tighter rubbing his cheek on his shoulder.

“Hold it kid yer crushing me! I can’t breath!”

Haruka pulled away and grinned

“Sorry!” The little boy pat Atsumu’s head

“It’s just you’re just so cool!!”

They walked a couple of more streets and he ended up at his brothers restaurant which was closed. “I knew it was gonna be closed.”

“What are we gonna do now?”

Haruka looked at him.

“You don’t live here Mr. Atsumu! You’re so silly!”

He laughed and winced a bit. “My Tummy is hurting a little.”

Atsumu couldn’t take it he was done. He’s had enough dealing with this brat.

“Wait I got it.”

He walked to the bench outside his brother’s restaurant.

“Why are we here?” Haruka asked as Atsumu sat him on the bench.

“Ok so this is what’s gonna happen. Yer gonna stay here on this bench don’t move!”

Surely someone will notice him and help him find his parents. If not my idiot brother’s got this tomorrow he should be here.

“What about you?” Haruka asked tilting his head.

“Are you gonna stay here to?” He looked at Atsumu smiling.

“I’m gonna go get something for you just wait here!”

“Is it for volleyball?!” Haruka asked remembering he was talking to his favorite setter in the world.

“Uh yeah sure I have practice tomorrow so behave and stay still and I’ll play with you sometime.”

He turned around taking one last glance at the boy who waved at him smiling innocently.

“I’ll wait ok!”

Atsumu turned around

“See ya never brat.”

……..

Atsumu made it home and walked inside annoyed.

“I’m tired and I don’t want to deal with anything annoying.” He realized his phone was dead and couldn’t even charge it to call his annoying brother. “I would’ve asked but with the kid around no way.”

He closed his eyes and the face of the little boy smiling innocently waving at him.

There was no way that was his child. He glared covering his face on the pillow.

He had to admit the brat looked just like him but dismissed him as some crazy person’s son who was obsessed with him.

“This stuff only happens in dramas.”

He closed him eyes and dozed off.

“Probably never see that kid again.”

…..

“Wait for me!!”

“Huh?”

He stared at a younger version of him himself.

“You’re walking to fast!”

“Hey champ what took ya so long?”

Atsumu smiled.

“Hi Dad!” The little boy ran and hugged him.

“I’m here son.” Atsumu pat his head.

………

Mr. Atsumu help me!

“Huh?”

He looked and noticed the little boy who was being dragged away.

“Help me please! He’s gonna take me away!”

The little boy who sobbed as the man took out the knife. “Wait didn’t this happen already?”

“Please you said forever!”

“Atsumu!”

He turned around and saw his brother

“It’s horrible ya should have seen it.”

“Seen what?” Osamu frowned

“The little kid who was found dead in front of my shop.”

“D-Dead?!” Atsumu panicked.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing I..”

“Yer really leaving the kid out in the cold by himself so cruel.”

….

Atsumu jolted up panicked standing up looking at the time. It was passed midnight and he looked outside in the dark.

“He’s been outside for about three hours by himself.”

Atsumu pulled his hair.

“Dang it!”

He rushed out the door

“Ya better be alright boy!”

“Hey kid..”

“There he is! Come here you little shit!”

Atsumu heard and quickly ran and winced feeling the pain on his shoulder by the man who caught him.

“Let go of me ya pig! Yer lucky I’m fucking hurt!”

He looked at Atsumu’s bleeding arm.

“You could have escaped but instead you decided to injure yourself by helping this brat.”

“Haruka glared.”

Shut up! Leave him alone!

He tried to defend atsumu but was pulled away and the man threw him on the ground kicking him.

“Leave the kid alone bastard!” The man punched Atsumu in the stomach.

He walked to the boy picking him up by the shirt taking out a knife.

“Hey your son looks a lot like you.”

He grinned “I wonder if I kill him you’ll hurt as much as me which is what you deserve,”

“He doesn’t have anything to do with me just let him go!” The man looked at the boy who tried to get out of his grasp.

“Let me go you pig!” The man looked at Atsumu. “Don’t lie this is your kid looks just like you to bad kid’s got some spunk.” He looked at Atsumu and grinned

“Well now we don’t want another you so it’s goodbye to the brat.”

He stabbed Haruka on the side of his stomach causing him to scream in pain dropping to the ground wincing in agony .

“I don’t know that kid! Leave him out of this!”

The man stepped on Haruka’s head applying pressure crushing him.

“MAMA IT HURTS.”

Shut up brat! Or I’ll kill you in front of your dad.

He looked at Atsumu.

“It’s your fault she left me and I lost everything.”

“What are ya talking about?!”

“My ex who divorced me and as a result I lost everything.”

“Now say goodbye to the brat.”

He began to crush Haruka’s head. “WAAAAAH IT HURTS!!” The man glared. “Shut up kid!” He suddenly felt some one punch him. “Leave the kid outta this he’s innocent do whatever ya want to me just leave him alone.

“Atsumu didn’t know what it was but he couldn’t just let this kid suffer in front of him. He didn’t know what it was but he felt the need to protect this kid with all his life.

“Leave the boy I’m here.”

He punched Atsumu over and over in the stomach causing him to cough up blood.

“Shit.”

He fell to his knees and noticed the boy who seemed to have lost consciousness and crawled to him hugging him shielding him from the other man. “He’s your fucking son don’t deny it!”

The man continued to hit atsumu when a scream was heard a woman had scene everything and the police sirens were heard.

“I’m scared..” the boy coughed blood.

“I’m here kid don’t worry..”

Then everything went black for Atsumu as he clutched to the kid.

……….

Atsumu woke up in a hospital bed looking around it seemed he had gotten the room to himself because no news reporter in sight. “Glad they kept this under cover don’t wanna deal with any shit.”

“Hmmm”

He turned to the left and saw the boy who clutched onto him.

“What’s the brat doing here?”

A nurse walked in and quickly rushed to the boy picking him up walking to the next bed. “He’s been quite attached it’s a surprise he was able to wake up right away”

“Hey there Mr. Miya how are you feeling?”

She asked.

“I fucking hurt everywhere.” He winced feeling a massive headache.

“I feel dizzy.”

“Well you just gave away some of your blood since you had a blood transfusion.”

“What the hell for?! It hurts like a fucking bitch.”

She looked at the boy who was still asleep “Your son is gonna be alright.”

He sighed in relief.

“Hold on just a minute!!” He looked at the small boy

“S-Son?!” He shot up. “I don’t have a kid!”

Atsumu winced in pain as he felt dizzy

“Calm down sir you’re surely experiencing some amnesia you’re gonna all right.”

“No ya don’t understand I don’t have a son!” She shook her head.

“Calm down its alright.”

“I don’t have a son!”

He pointed at the sleeping boy. “He’s not my kid I didn’t get a girl pregnant!”

He frantically yelled as she tried to calm him down.

“Sir it matches! You have the same compatibility as father and son!”

“Bullshit! Yer test is wrong!”

He felt someone grab him.

“Calm down”

“No I’m not! Yer saying that kid is mine when he’s not! I didn’t knock someone up!”

He felt someone poke him with a needle and put him out.

“Sorry Atsumu Miya but you were causing a scene.”

The woman looked at the DNA ample.

She then looked at an unconscious Atsumu and glared then smiled.

“Now you’re in deep shit Atsumu.”

She touched his hair leaning into his ear.

“Karma is a bitch.”

Flashback

She clung to him and went on their date

“So Miya she ate her Ice cream and noticed the kids laughing and giggling while Atsumu sneered.

“Look at them they’re disgusting.”

“Why do you hate kids so much?”

“I can’t stand the little fucking annoying pests.”

“Their just your fans sure that a couple have come up to you but you don’t have to glare at them and scare them off.”

“They’re fucking monsters if I’m nice to them and will wanna follow me everywhere fucking little shits!”

“So you don’t want kids?”

“I’d rather be kicked out of the MSBY than have a brat.”

“Be careful what you say.”

He glared.

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“You might just jinx yourself.” She sighed

“I knew a man who said he hated kids just as much as you hate them and guess what.”

Atsumu glared “Get to the point.”

“He’s happily married and has three kids and his first kid was an accident! I saw him the other day with his pregnant wife.”

“I don’t see why she married that playboy but he seemed to have been caught by her and changed.” She looked at him

“Maybe that’s your future?”

“Oh shut up.”

He glared and pulled her to his appartment and ended the night with safe protected session for the third night and he was getting bored of her.

“Should I make you breakfast I know I’m not the best but I can try?” He shook his head standing up.

“Get up and get changed let’s break up Hina.”

“It’s Andrea!!” She teared up.

“Did our past couple of days mean nothing to you?!”

“What fucking ever get outta here yer disgusting.”

She glared.

“You’re despicable!”

She turned around changing and left before she stopped and looked at him.

“Everything has consequences and if you keep doing this to every woman you find attractive you’re gonna either end up with a disease or a little boy or girl coming up to your doorstep calling you dad.”

She stepped out

“Get the fuck outta here bitch! That ain’t gonna happen!”

…….

“Is something wrong Ms. Andrea?”

A woman asked.

“No it’s just everything in this world has a price.” She rubbed away her tears.

She looked at the little boy walking to him patting his hair kissing his cheek.

“Little guy you are a gift to every single woman Miya Atsumu’s played with.”

She glanced at Atsumu

“This fucking playboy is gonna get what he deserves.”

She smiled handing the samples to the office

“Once they better have him sign out for his son as well.

“Enjoy being a father Atsumu Miya.”

“Mama!” He jumped up and down.

“Calm down sweetie I know you’re excited.”

I get to meet my little cousin!

Not just yet son only after Mommy finishes her job we can go together in the mean time you’ll be just like when we went to Peru. I hugged him apologizing.

“I’m sorry baby but I promise after this mommy and you can take a big break.”

“Okay mommy!” His eyes continued to sparkle which meant trouble.

“Why are you so excited in Peru you didn’t seem so happy to be away from your mommy.”

I pout. “No mama! I just wanna go explore a new place.”

He smiled. “I won’t cause trouble.

He said smirking which worried me.

Haruka POV

“Okay son mom is gonna go get the last of the stuff.”

He nodded while while she went outside.

“Now is my chance.” He quickly rushed to the cabinet and grabbed a picture book.

“I don’t know what mana is hiding but I’m pretty sure that’s Atsumu Miya he said taking the last picture that was left out and closed the cabinet. He fist pumped the air.

“Maybe Atsumu Miya knows my dad.”

He stared at the picture as his eyes sparkled.

“I get to meet the msby Jackals.” He squeled like a little fan boy. “I get to meet him!”

His mother walked back in. “I think I won’t tell mama because she wouldn’t let me go to not even a single one of his games.”

He pouts

“Mama said I would get bored but I won’t especially if I get to see my favorite volleyball player!” He took his small backpack which was filled with paper and crayons and most importantly the pictures which he carefully hid in a notebook

“Haru! It’s time to go!”

His little footsteps were heard. “I’m on my way mama!”

………

(Y/N) POV

She looked at the back noticing her sleeping son.

“11 hours is a long way to go but we’ll be there by tomorrow morning,”

I yawned not so excited for the 11 hour drive depending on traffic.

…………

Timeskip brought to you by a sleepy (Y/N) who made it safely to Osaka without managing to fall asleep.

“Mama how do you do it.” I said surprised at how far she had to drive to get to our house she visited us a couple times a month if she wasn’t busy.

“Then again mama can just have someone drive her,”

………

We entered Osaka.

“Mama we’re here!” I nodded exhausted from the long drive.

“Baby I know you’re excited but can mama take a nap.”

He nodded.

“Don’t forget baby you still have to count and do your letters for when you start school next year.”

He smiled. “Okay!”

…….

They walked into the hug hotel and went to the top floors.

Hold my hand so you don’t get lost ok?

He nodded.

“Kay mama.”

“Mama I wanna go explore Osaka!” He

Haruka needed clues to find his dad for his mom. Although honestly the real reason was because he wanted to meet his favorite volleyball player.

“I wanna go and show him I’m cool to!”

He turned on his tablet and searched up.

“Atsumu Miya Serve.”

He played the video and got on the couch copying the movements his idol made.

“So cool!”

He looked outside the window and noticed the city and sighed.

“Mama won’t let me go.” He knew but he didn’t care.

“I’ll show mama I can be a big boy and meet him!”

He took out a piece of paper and drew our what seemed to be a plan.

“I can’t read but that doesn’t mean I can’t draw a plan.”

……..

The following morning.

“Mama are you leaving?”

She nodded.

“Yes and this is the person who will be watching you.” He looked at an older woman who smiled.

“Nice to meet you.”

Haruka nodded then turned to his mother.

“Mama when are you coming back?”

She sighed bending down and kissing his cheek.

“I’ll be back In a few days.”

He frowned.

“Don’t worry baby after this dilemma is solved I promise that we’ll take a big break and can spend as much time together as ever.”

He smiled

“Okay mama!”

………..

“Now young man what are we up to?”

He looked at the older woman who smiled noticing his drawings.

“Oh! I’m drawing!”

“What are you drawing?” She asked curiously.

“My plan!”

“Plan?”

He giggled.

“To meet Atsumu Miya!”

She laughed.

“How cute.”

He nodded at her both oblivious especially her not taking his words seriously.

“What time is it?”

He asked while she checked the time.

“Right it’s time to put the volleyball channel.”

“Yeah!”

He rushed to the TV while she set it up.

“Now little guy After this we’re gonna head to the park your mom said it would be a good idea to walk around for a bit.”

He nodded.

“Ok!”

Haruka looked at the TV.

“Alright!” He grabbed a blank piece of paper and took some of his crayons in his backpack and some toys and a two certain pictures he kept in case he ever saw Atsumu Miya.

…..

Cheating Men Must Die

Atsumu Angst

How could you..

I sobbed at the reason a child stood in front of me which wasn’t mine.

I stared at my now ex boyfriend

She died giving birth to your child! You cheated on me! Take responsibility get your kid and get out!

He looked at the new born taking him out of my arms and threw him across the hall causing the baby to hit the ground and start sobbing

What are you doing?!

I rushed to the sobbing child.

“I need to fix this!” Ateumu said laughing as tears poured out of his cheeks

“I love ya and I can’t lose ya over a mistake!

He kicked the child

“Stop it!”

I don’t want the brat! Let’s put it for adoption and stay together yeah?! We’ll have a family of our own!

Ateumu said grabbing me by the wrist

How dare you kick your child!

He’s not my child and never will be! I hate him get rid of him!

No! Are you out of your mind!

Hand over the child.

I held the sobbing child backing away

Hand over the kid and we’ll forget!

No! You’re raising your child!

“No! I don’t want a brat!” He yelled

“I’ll give him away!”

I held the crying child

No!

Ateumu glared trying time get the child digging his nails on the child’s arms trying to take him away.

No! Stop it! You’re hurting him!

I held the sobbing kid tightly

“If ya want the kid keep it but I’m not accepting that mistake as my kid.” Atsumu turned around slamming his door shut.

I looked at the child feeling sick and disgusted

“You’re not a mistake.” I held him close.

Even if it destroyed my relationship with atsumu I didn’t care

“He’s your dad and I’m sorry your mother died.”

I set the child down and sobbed

“He cheated on me how could he.”

…:..

The next day

Atsumu looked at the child in disgust

Yer a mistake because of ya I lost my happiness!

“Don’t blame it.”

“Ya hate him to!”

I sighed taking my engagement ring setting to on the counter

I’m sorry atsumu I can’t marry you after this.

I picked the child up

Where are ya taking the mistake!

“Putting it up for adoption what else.” I said cussing atsumu to smile

“That’s it ya do that and we’ll be happy!”

I frowned looking back one last time at him

I’m never stepping foot in your house again don’t expect me back. Do me a favor and forget my relationship with you.

I stepped out walking into my car heading to the orphanage across town:

…..

I stood outside the car staring at the newborn who smiled a toothless smile.

Disgusting my mind told me to abandon it after all it ruined my life.

Sigh, it’s not your fault.

I sobbed

I’m just as bad as atsumu thinking this.

I got out of the car taking the child to the door but frowned walking inside

“My ex fiancé cheated on me and had a child with another woman and doesn’t want him.”

The woman gasped and stared at the child in disgust

Bring the kid over

(It’s playing favorites here.)

“I’ll give this kid the treatment it deserves for being an abomination I’m sorry you went through this.”

Actually I’d….

Like to adopt this boy.

What?

I can’t explain it right now..

You’ll need to go through the procedure as there are many people in line to adopt.

I took out a check with 5000000 (50,000)

She took the money and looked at me.

“From what I can see you’re financially stable so I’ll accomplish this.”

I signed documents and left the same day

………

My mother slapped me

How could you bring this abomination and except it!

Mother I’m sorry I don’t know how to explain it.

Your just like your useless father.

I frowned looking at my mother

You’re pure of blood in our family not like those disgusting children he adopted because he felt bad get rid of the kid or your no longe part of this family. I told you that man was bad news but you went and got engaged now you’re dealing with a mistake that isn’t even yours.

It’s mother is dead I couldn’t abandon it.

You hate that child I know you. You’re like me daughter we’re both selfish to get what we want.

I stopped in my tracks

You frowned all those companies and rose our company to the top you’re cold hearted like your mother.

“Mother I promise I’ll come back and do what ever you want just please let me have this child.”

Fine but you’ll get engaged and give me a proper heir.

I looked at the child what about this child?

He won’t get anything unless he works even harder and proves his worth. I won’t accept him ever.

Alright mother.

………..

Three years later

How could you! The man looked at my cold eyes

I gave you my name and gave you a child how could you do this to me! You stole everything from me and now want a divorce ?!

I smiled

You’re not worthy of any of your fortune everything you have is now mine get out of my house you useless pig

He sobbed and glared

This isn’t over! I’ll get lawyers and take everything back!

He then coughed blood looking at him I grinned

I may have accidentally put arsenic in your tea now goodbye

He walked outside the house taking a lighter setting the house on fire

Try abusing my children again and cheating on me.

Cheatinf men must die.

………

“Did you do it?”

I stared at my mother and nodded

He died in a fire now I’m a widow and divorced him on time.

“That’s my daughter cheating men must die,”

I nodded.

Mommy?

I walked home noticing Izumi holding my two year old.

I’ll be back I’m gonna go change I smell like fire and ashes.

I walked inside my room

Mommy left to change?!

What are you doing!

“My Mother glared taking the two year old from his arms”

Holding my brother!

“Sigh” (this brat may be useful)

“If you want to be accepted here you must protect this child with your life no matter what in exchange I’ll allow you to study and you’ll work under him protecting him”

“Of course I love my baby brother.” The boy looked at his baby brother.

“Mother what are you telling my son.” I walked to the kids and hugged them taking my youngest son Yukihira.

Come on Izumi let’s go to the room and watch tv,

Okay! I smiled and pat his head

Don’t mind what people say I love you and the will never change.

The little boy smiled

“I love you and my brother to!”

The little boy had blonde hair and blue eyes a true child who looked from a rich family just like his mother while Izumi had basic features but it didn’t matter all that mattered was his mothers love and his little brother.

Mrs. (L/N) doesn’t like me so I can’t call her grandma yet but mommy loves me and so does my little brother so nothing matters

Izumi! The two year old wiggle four of his mothers grasp and hugged his older brother

My favorite! Love you more than anyone!

Me to bro.

Izumi knew he didn’t belong but as long as he had a purpose he knew he belonged.

…….

I’ll protect them…

The end

Chapter 4: Osamu Special Part 1

He ended the call and got up

“Who was that?”

The blonde haired girl who had her messy bed hair wearing his oversized shirt was looking through the closet for clothes.

“Oh it was (Y/N).” He said and came up to her hugging her from behind resting his chin on her shoulder.

“How is she doing?”

She’s coming to Osaka in a few days.”It’s been a while since I’ve seen her.”

She’s gonna bring Haru.”

The girl’s eyes sparkled as she turned around and smiled. “She’s bringing her son!”

He nodded.

“Yes!”

“Shh” He said and pointed to the bed at the small person under the covers. “Right I’ll wake him up.” She scratched the back of her head.

“Mm..”

“Mommy?” He opened his light grey eyes and sighed. “Yer to loud let me sleep.” “Daddy you to.” He looked at Osamu and puffed his cheeks.

“Sorry bub we didn’t mean to wake ya up.”

He walked to his son picking him up. “What do ya say we go and have breakfast.” He nodded “Yer making it right?” He nodded. “Good because mommy can’t cook.”

“What did you say!” She said.

“Son you can’t just say that to mommy! I try!” He wrapped his arms around Osamu.

“Daddy is better at cooking” Osamu Smirked. “Of course he is because he owns a restaurant!” She puffed her cheeks while Osamu looks at Yuji who nodded. “Don’t worry mommy yer better at baking yummy cakes which are better.”

“Of course we all know he sucks at baking!” She smiled as he handed Yuji to her. “Here.”

“Mommy I have to go change.” She nodded

“Let’s go get you changed.” He pouts. “I’m a big boy!”

She nodded. “Yes I know but I need to see what you’re going to wear little guy.”

Osamu looked at his family and smiled.

Yuji Miya may have been and accident when they where both 19 nonetheless, They where happy and scared to become parents but when they held him in their arms they instantly fell in love with their child. Instead of University or college he decided to start his business which succeeded even with Yuji on the way he succeeded.

Since she was carrying Yuji inside her belly she dropped college and decided to raise him and joined Onigiri Miya which she was happy about.

He grinned. “It all worked out.”

……….

Let’s go with daddy.

He nodded taking her hand and they went to the car and she put him in the car seat.

“Ready to go?”

……..

They entered the restaurant

“Ok Yuji wanna help mommy out today?” He smiled nodded as she handed him a piece of paper. “Draw mommy something so she can make some cookies.” He grinned while she worked on the cookie shaped onigiri henceforth Onigiri Miya started having deserts.

…………

TimeSkip

She tucked her son into bed kissing his cheek and closing the door walking back to the room.

“Night Mu.”

“Night.”

She looked at Osamu and smiled thinking back to a time where she almost gave up.

Her hands went through his hair while he hugged her pulling her close.

“I never thought this would happen.” She said quietly but he seemed to hear.

“Me either.”

“I love you Mu.”

“I love ya too.” He kissed her hair falling asleep.

She closed her eyes.

……….

Flashback

“I’m saying goodbye Osamu.” She said sadly their final year of high school.

“Thank you for everything it’s time for me to go back home.” She turned around while he looked back and noticed her walk away.

“Home?”

Didn’t she live here?

He walked to to her quickly and grabbed her wrist.

“Where are ya gonna go?”

“Well tomorrow I’m skipping school on Saturday and leaving in the afternoon.” She counted her fingers. “Oh I guess I just have three days.”

“Where to.” He said

“To America it turns out my uncle from my mom’s side lives over there.” He let go while she turned around. “Don’t act all sad.” She giggled. “It’s finally your chance to get rid of me like you wanted to.” She turned around and stopped turning around giving him her biggest smile.

“Oh and Osamu.” She made a heart sign.

“I love you.” She turned around and knew when she got home she’d break down but all she had to do was smile in front of him.

“So that’s it.”

He turned around putting his hands in his pockets walking home.

…….

Osamu couldn’t sleep that night and imagined how life would go back to the way it was without her.

“She’s really leaving?” He got up. “No this has to be a prank.” She often asked about what he would do if she was leaving and laugh it off when he said he’d feel free and not embarrassed.

“She’s just gonna leave like that no I don’t believe her.”

……

The next day he walked around the usual and expected her to run up to him an confess her love like usual but she didn’t.

“Hi Osamu.” He waved and walked away leaving him confused and surprised.

“Woah she didn’t jump you before is she over you?” Suna asked leaving a confused Osamu. “Well you got what you wanted didn’t you?”

“Tch, this is probably another one of her schemes to get at me.” Suna shrugged his shoulders. “Maybe or maybe not.” He took out his phone. “Let’s head to class.”

Osamu nodded slightly irritated.

He stared at her in class and she didn’t once glance back at him or even acknowledged him if a paper was needed she’d just hand it to him.

“Hey are ya gonna talk to me at all?”

He mumbled to himself.

“No need I won’t gain anything from it.”

She said to him with out even glancing at him

…………..

Miya Osamu was annoyed not because the girl who apparently was madly in love with him gave him to much attention and embarrassed him.

It was because she wasn’t giving him any attention.

“Wait why should I care!” He said to himself and noticed The girl who walked passed him on his way to lunch instead of pleading him to spend time with him.

…….

“I see the girl’s over ya.” His brother said laughing looking at th either table where she was surrounded by a few boys and girls.”

“Didn’t he want this from day one?” Aran whispered to Suna. “Apparently but looking at him like this he’s acting like his brother.”

“What did ya just say!” Osamu glared standing up.

“I’m just happy that she’s leaving!” He stomped away.

……..

“Samu will ya shut up yer getting on my nerves.”

“Who’s talking ya idiot!” He glared at his brother.

“Well yer all complaining about her all over ya now that she’s not yer being real fussy not that she’s not giving ya attention.”

“Take that back!”

………..

She didn’t show up Friday like her expected her to.

“She’s doing this on purpose.” He said.

……..

His match ended and he walked outside expecting her to jump him complaining about the fact that she got kicked out because he told his coach to kick her out.

“Tch.”

“Ya didn’t get yer big hug is that why yer all mopey.”

“Shut yer ass up!”

He bickered with brother all the way home.

………….

He ate breakfast and his phone buzzed expecting a text to be from her and quickly took his phone out.

Message from: Naomi

He knew he was gonna get a text of her apologizing to him and things would go back to the way they were but he didn’t.

“Hey Osamu, I wanted to see you happy for the last few days I was here since you always seemed happy with out me.

I’m not gonna lie it broke my heart even so I not only did this for you but for myself I thought maybe if I avoided you so I could get over you I even went on a date with this really nice guy and I decided to start talking to a boy from America!

I can’t wait to meet him and I guess I’ll fall in love with him!

Osamu glared at the phone.

“Thank you for being such a great entertainment honestly I don’t think what I had for you was love but it was admiration so goodbye!”

“One last thing. I deleted your contact so I won’t be tempted to talk to you I hope I don’t miss you to much!”

He slammed his hands on the table surprising his family.

“What’s gotten into you Osamu!” His mother said surprised.

“Yeah yer gonna break the damn table!”

“She’s and idiot.” He said to himself and put his shoes on.

“Where are ya going!” His brother said.

“I’m gonna do something stupid but if I don’t I know I’ll regret it.”

…..

He ran through the streets thanking his stamina as an athlete.

“She’s so stupid!”

“She’s just gonna leave me like that!”

“What the fuck did she mean she went on a date!”

“She’s talking time someone else!”

“What happened to apparently being in love with me!”

Thoughts rushed in his head he made it to the airport looking around and ran to the desk.

“Flight at 11:00 to America! Where is it!”

She pointed to the left and without a moments hesitation he ran through and looked around and saw her.

“NAOMI!” She turned around surprised “Osamu?”

“Yer actually leaving.” She nodded.

“Yeah I didn’t expect you here.” She waved.

“So yer seeing someone now?” Really was that all he could say he told himself.

“Yeah his name is Ricardo.” She smiled. “He’s really nice although I’ve had to translate some of his words I didn’t understand he’s gonna meet me at the airport when I land though.

Osamu didn’t answer and just stared at her.

“Well goodbye!” She turned around quickly.

“Why are ya leaving!” He finally yelled out.

“It’s because I have nothing left here. I thought I was alone but I found family and I’d like to meet them.”

She turned around once again.

“NO YER NOT LEAVING!”

She finally snapped.

“What’s your problem!” She yelled back.

She sighed. “I don’t have time for this goodbye Osamu.” She smiled sadly walking away before he ran closer yelling out.

“YOU STOP RIGHT THERE!!!”

He ran towards her chasing her.

“KYAA!” She ran.

“I WON’T LET YA GET AWAY!” People looked around and embarrassed her to be seen being chased by a boy.

“LEAVE ME ALONE!” She said running embarrassed.

“DIDN’T YA SAY THAT YA LOVE ME!”

She stopped.

“If ya said ya love me then don’t go to another man’s side!!”

She looked back shocked.

“Ya won’t go, right Naomi?”

He stopped realizing what he said

(Crap I just caused a scene) At this point he didn’t care.

“I realized that I need ya in my life.”

Her eyes widened as tears started leaving her eyes.

“So come back to me and stay on my side.”

“All of yer problems, Yer feelings, and yer pain.”

“Give them to me and only to me.”

He smiled.

“As a man I’ll only belong to ya.”

“Because Naomi, I love ya.”

She rushed to him and engulfed him in a hug.

“Naomi yer mine and I’m yers alone.” She sobbed in his chest while he smiled softly.

………

Both teens sat in front of their TV blushing completely embarrassed at the news.

“Man Confesses To The Love Of His Life That He Can’t Live Without Her.”

“T-That’s me…” They said in unison.

Osamu stares at his family embarrassed.

No doubt about it. That was definitely gonna be all over school on Monday.

End of flashback

He laughed and noticed his Wife and Son.

Chapter 2: I’ll Protect You

“Have a tiring day?” He nodded “Natsu played with me and taught me so many cool things! I know I wanna be a setter!”

I rubbed his dark brown hair. “Of course I know you can.” He giggled and went to the TV. “Mama I wanna see Atsumu!” I sighed nodding turning to the TV “Let me rewind I saved the video” He day on the couch with his eyes sparkling. “He’s so cool!” I nodded “Just for a little bit ok?”

He grinned “Ok!” I played it and saw a familiar yet unfamiliar face. I stared at my son then at the screen. Mama he’s gonna serve!” Instinctively I put my fingers to my lips.

“Atsu wants it qui-” I stopped myself while Haruka looked at me confused. “Atsu?” I laughed it off “I meant Atsumu! Oh my gosh (Y/N)!”

I said to myself pretending to scold myself. “How could I forget your son’s idol! Remember wants to be like him!” Haruka giggled then stared back at the screen.

The game ended and the MSBY Jackals won. “They won like always Mama!” I nodded then turned back and smiled sadly noticing the girl with dyed silver hair run up to him and kiss him. (She’s so beautiful) I heard you’re engaged with her.

“Congratulations Tsumu” I said then looked down at my sleeping son. “Let’s put my baby to sleep.” I picked him up walking to my room laying him on the bed. “Night baby.” I then walked to the caninet taking the pictures out again taking out the last picture of us together. “You’re so happy now and your fiancé is so beautiful.”

I smiled before I knew it tears slipped from my eyes as I bend down covering my mouth and sobbed. “I hate it so much.” I sobbed quietly. “Tsumu I hate that I can’t forget you.” I looked at the picture one last time. “Atsumu.”

I got up walking to the stove turning it on taking out the picture and burned it then quickly blew it as the tears slipped. “Who needs memories but I..” I kissed the picture hugging it. “Tsumu..”

I continued to sob. “Oh Atsumu.” I kissed the picture sobbing. “I miss you so much.” I hugged my knees covering my mouth holding in the tears in fear of waking up Haruka.

“Mama?” I looked and noticed a sad Haruka who started crying hugging me “Mama don’t cry.”

I looked at him. “Mama don’t be sad!” He backed away and pat his stomach. “Remember! You’re a mom!” He said. “And mothers don’t cry”

I finished his sentence hugging him tightly snuggling in his shoulder as the tears slipped. “Please forgive mama this one time and let her cry.”

He pat my back. “I’m here mama I’ll protect you from Tsumu.” My eyes widened (Did he hear?) I looked at him. “Mama?”

“Hmm?”

“Promise you won’t get mad for me asking?”

“Tsumu is my dad isn’t he.”

She didn’t answer him and just hugged him.

“This Tsumu is he bad?” I shook my head. “No he’s not.” He looked at me. “Then why do you cry?” He stared at me with his chocolate brown eyes that resembled his dad. “He’s not a bad person it’s just mama loved him too much.”

“You loved him?” I nodded. “He didn’t love mama back the way she loved him.”

“Is that really my dad?” I put my forhead “No he’s not it’s just mama for now.” He smiled. “It will always be mama!” I kissed his cheeks. “You don’t need him mama I’ll be here forever!” I nodded picking him up. “Let’s go to bed ok?” He nodded “ok mama.”

I lay in bed “Don’t worry mama I’ll protect you from Tsumu.” He snuggled into my chest as I hugged him. “It’s a promise then.” I closed my eyes.

(You’re just like him I’m not only your appearance.)

She closed her eyes holding her child who she loved dearly with all her heart.

“You’re my baby and I won’t ever let anyone corrupt or hurt you.”

So you don’t need to know he’s your dad. “You’ll only end up hurt besides he made it clear the moment he got a fiancée it’s obvious he forgot us long ago.”

I closed my eyes drifting to sleep.

….

Meanwhile

She hugged him from behind. “Tsumu.” He pushed her away. “Don’t call me that.” She frowned nodding “sorry. “ He shook his head. “Just forget it kiana.” She kissed him while he kissed back and pushed her down.

“I’ll show ya a good time tonight.”

Really I’d love to see it.

Me kissed the woman and pushed her down into the sheets.

Chapter 26: Living With Baby Haruka

Don’t you dare be fooled by his cuteness.

“You little gremlin where are you?!”

Oikawa ran around the house looking for the 10 month old baby who ran and crawled everywhere. “Your mom is going to kill me!” He rushed everywhere and oikawa noticed his volleyball covered in drool. “You’re kidding me.” He took the ball away and Haruka started to cry. “Oh no.” He then heard another baby cry. “Now you made Akito cry.” He went to go grab his sister’s baby who reached for Haruka. “Oh boy”

He picked up Haru setting him on the crib in the living room near the couch. “I’ll go prepare you guys some milk” He looked at Haruka. “You stay I brought Akito so behave.”

….

The 10 month baby looked at Akito who was drooling.

“Goo.” He looked at the couch and used his tiny hands to jump out of the crib his destination laid up one his eyes. “Aboo.” The beautiful volleyball on the ground he couldn’t wait to bite and drool on.

He used his tiny hand climbing out of the crib landing on the couch and slowly climbing down and got up and then fell on the carpet crawling to the volleyball.

Akito looked and stared at the other boy and began to tear up and cry as if to say I’m to scared to get out.

…..

Oikawa POV

He finished the powder and heard Akito cry and exited the kitchen and noticed his volleyball one again being drooled on by the little gremlin

“Haru I told you not to do that!” He tried to take the volleyball away but Haru tried his best not to let it go and stared tearing up throwing a tantrum.”

……….

(Y/N) POV

I yawned exhausted from finishing my homework for the week. “Finally I can go pick up my little Haruka.”

I was going to go pick up my baby when I was startled “(Y/N)!”

I looked and noticed Shōyō. “Hey Shōyō, you startled me!”

He grinned. “I’m so excited to get into nationals.” I smiled and let him talk about things I didn’t know at this point.

“So are you ok?” He nodded while I pat his shoulder. “What’s the matter I can read you like a book.”

He looked at me in determination. “I’m gonna face off against stronger opponents!” I nodded. “Of course I already know that!” He grinned “You support me right?!” I nodded. “I’ll take your word for it!”

“Word for what?” He closed the door confusing me.

“Okay?”

………….

“My baby Haruka mommy is here!” I barged in the door looking for my little munchkin.

He stopped playing with the toys in his hand and reached his arms out.

“Mama!” I heard him.

“I missed you so much!” I picked him up kissing his cheeks.

I looked at Oikawa and grinned. “Thanks for taking care of him.” Oikawa nodded and smiled. “Anything for you!” Haruka glared at Oikawa and wrapped his arms around my neck. “Mama!”

“Yes I know baby let’s go home.”

“Wait (Y/N), spend the night we’re gonna watch some movies later!” I sighed “I don’t want to be a bother.” He instantly cut her off. “I’ll buy pizza!” My eyes sparkled. “Well if you insist

………

Meanwhile

The boy glared at his surroundings and blamed everyone for ever little while thing. “If ya can’t even hit one of my sets get yerself off the court like the piece of trash ya are.”

“So he’s mad again this time for what.” Suna said.

“He’s pissed off because he can’t show off or gloat to a certain someone that he got into a training camp.”

“I heard that Samu!”

“Here we go again.”

In conclusion another fight between the Miya twins occurred.

……….

Atsumu POV

“I don’t need her.” He told himself.

“She left me for a stupid reason.”

He walked out the gym cooling his head and returned back.

“She’s not here.”

…….

Flashback

He scored the final point and earned their spot to nationals as the crowd cheered.

“Great job everyone!”

Atsumu looked through the crowd to a certain spot that was empty he turned to his team and walked in to celebrate with them.

……

“She’s not here anymore.”

“Are you alright Atsumu?”

He looked up and nodded.

“Hey Naomi yer looking fine today.”

She rolled her eyes.

“Whatever.”

He leaned closer to her casting the net to lure her into his trap.

“Hey what do ya say we go out tonight.” She looked at him.

“Out?”

He nodded getting dangerously close whispering into her ear grabbing her waist.

“I know a couple of spots we could ya know mess around.” She looked at him.

“Why do you ask now.”

He grinned.

“Couldn’t help but notice how my brother treats ya like yer nothing.”

“Did it look like that?”

He nodded

“Yes I mean yer practically a bother all he does is complain about how much he dislikes ya and want to get rid of ya.” He nibbled her ear.

“What do ya say doll.” He smirked “Spend the night with me and I’ll help ya forget my brother.”

“Atsumu that’s not a good idea.

He stared into her eyes leaning in closer to her.

“Can’t ya just play along that I’m Osamu?” He touched her chest causing a tick to appear on her head as she slapped him.

“The fuck!” he winced

“Why’d ya slap me!”

she huffed crossing her arms.

“Your such and idiot how can you just go around and think and act like you can touch everyone and harass them.”

“What’s yer problem I was trying to help ya get over my brother!”

“Pfft by what acting like a dog in heat.”

“What did ya say!” He glared at her.

“I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ll ever see a person like you in that way.” She walked passed him.

“Don’t get yourself in trouble.”

“So ya care.”

She shook her head.

“The reason why I’m telling you this is because last time me and Osamu were gonna go to the movies they didn’t let him in and even banned him.” She glared at him. “You ruined a chance for me to seduce your brother!”

He laughed. “Now who’s a dog in heat.” She looked at him and smiled “Me of course that only applies to your brother.” She smirked.

“He’s a pain so ya can have him.”

She smiled. “I’ll gladly take him and love him.” She turned around leaving an annoyed Atsumu.

“Dang and she was actually hot would wanna hear her scream my na-” He felt a smack in his head.

“Shut yer trap Tsumu.” Osamu said walking ahead.

“Why’d ya go and do that!”

Henceforth another fight between the twins broke out.

……

Osamu POV

Flashback

He waited inside the gym waiting for the annoying Naomi to get tired and eventually leave home.

“She’s really on yer nerves huh.” His brother said

“Yeah more annoying that you.” He smirked.

“She likes ya right?” He sighed annoyed.

“Don’t remind me.” His brother clapped his hands.

“All is good then she’s got a hot body and looks like an easy catch so I’ll steal her.”

“What?” Osamu looked at him.

“What do ya mean by that.”

Atsumu shrugged his shoulders. “Ya don’t wanna fuck her I’ll take my shot I mean we’re twins right?”

He left leaving a dumbfounded Osamu.

“So he’s gonna get rid of her good riddance.”

He didn’t know why he ended outside listening in to their conversation.

“Tsumu’s got her is obvious.”

Osamu shrugged his shoulders feeling a bit bothered when he heard a slap.

……….

“Samu hurry up and get her she’s a good catch.”

“Don’t ya start too.”

……….

Naomi POV

“Disgusting pig.” She sighed walking home.

“Osamu.”

She knew that Osamu purposely avoids her but it was alright she thinks maybe things will get better and he’ll look at her the same way he looked at (Y/N).

“I don’t think that will happen.” She told herself.

“(Y/N) is one of a kind.” She smiled to herself.

“ (Y/N), I hope you’re doing well.”

She touched her heart.

“By listening to Osamu you seem like a great person and I know if he think you are then you must be.”

The threw her fist in the air. “Let’s do our best (Y/N)!”

“We’ll both find a way to achieve our goals!”

……….

“HE DID WHAT?!”

I said shocked feeding Haruka a bottle of milk listing to someone over the phone.

“I see.”

I ended the call from the Kurasuno manager I had met a while ago running into her at the store when I was with Hinata and we became good friends.

“Thanks Kiyoko for letting me know I had no idea he came up with that!”

I ended the call noticing my son who smiled. I kissed his cheek picking him up and changing him and put clean clothes on him. “At least you don’t smell like cow manure this time.” He giggled feeling cleaned.

“Mama!” He said loudly as I threw the diaper in the garbage and washed my hands.

“Yes baby?” He hugged me snuggling into me.

“Mama.” I smiled remembering his first words.

“Mama is gonna go to bed ok?” I put him on the crib walking away as he whimpers and began to cry. “Mama!” I sighed forgetting how clingy he is.

“Alright Haru you win.” I picked him up walking to my room.

……..

I held a picture of me and Atsumu together and showed it to Haruka.

“This is your papa.”

Haruka has seen his picture countless times and recognized his mother maybe?

“Your Mama and Papa.” I told him. My son stared at me with his chocolate brown eyes and giggled then looked at the picture that was his mom and his dad.

“Mama.” He wrapped his arms dropping on my chest. “Ouch Haru gentle.” He snuggled into my chest. “You really like snuggling especially like this.” I thought back to him.

“You know I can help but think of him when I see you.” I pat his head. “For starters you both love hugging in this position.” I smiled at him. “At least you aren’t crushing me like your dad did.” I kissed his forehead and drifted of to sleep.

…………..

“I don’t love ya yer disgusting.” He glared at the girl.

“Ya really think by acting all innocent and yer stupid cliche act it will work?”

She teared up. “I thought you lo-”

He laughed “Get yer head straight I hate ya and don’t love ya.”

He left the girl crushed and tears after dating him only a few days it was over and yet that didn’t stop naive girls from trying to hit on him by acting all fake and innocent acting like they don’t like him and then apparently falling in love.

“This is getting irritating.”

He tried deals finding a fake girlfriend but it all went down hill because she always ended up falling in love with him.

“I love you Atsumu I’m sorry I broke our deal.” She blushed.

“Do you like me a little bit?” She asked. “I mean your always nice and treat me differently.” He glared.

“No it’s over don’t come near me again.” He turned around and left.

……….

Oikawa POV

The girl with hair color lay on his bed hugging her child tears slipping from her eyes.

“Atsumu…”

Oikawa kissed her hair.

“Every time I hear that name you’re always sad.”

He looked at the baby who clung to her smiling in his sleep.

“I need to go to practice so I’ll see you guys after.”

……..

He walked feeling a bit irritated.

“Atsumu Huh.”

“How could you let a girl deal with this alone.”

He walked and noticed a few girls call his name and smile.

“How come you never have time to hang out?” Some whined.

“Yeah you have cancelled on me three times already,”

He shrugged his shoulder.

“Sorry ladies but I have to practice.”

(Even if my season is over it didn’t mean he was done with volleyball)

He left leaving the frowning fans.

“Somethings up with Oikawa.”

They nodded.

“Well I did hear that he was talking to a girl lately she even had a baby with her.”

“Wasn’t that her sister though I mean she recently had a baby right?”

The girls shrugged it off but still felt curious.

………….

(Y/N) POV

“(Y/N)!” The little boy smiled running and pulling her into a big hug. “What are ya doing?”

“I was waiting for ya silly.” She grabbed his hand as they ran to their favorite spot.

……

“(Y/N).” She faced the older boy.

“I don’t love ya so I wanna say goodbye.”

“What?!”

He turned around.

“Oh and I don’t want kids so get rid of it.”

No!

…..

She ended up in the hospital and noticed a woman take out a tool.

“Let’s remove the thing that he doesn’t want shall we?”

What are you doing I don’t want this!

…..

“It’s time.”

The nurse looked to the left.

“Hold her down.”

“Alright.”

I looked at Atsumu who held me down.

“Why do ya want the brat if I don’t love ya. I told ya I didn’t want it in the first place so just kill it.”

He looked at the nurse

“Do it.”

….

“NO!”

I awoke looking down at my child.

“Oh my gosh.”

I picked him up and hugged him tightly.

“(Y/N)! Are you alright?!”

Takeru rushed in.

“I’m so scared.” I said shaking and trembling. “He’s here but I’m scared.”

He rushed out down the stairs

“Uncle Tōru!”

I looked at my baby who was awake looking at me with an innocent smile.

“I thought you were gone.”

I hugged him when I heard him call me with such an innocent smile.

“Mama.”

I looked at him and teared up and I began to sob and cry apologizing to him.

“Mommy loves you she’s so sorry.”

“(Y/N)!”

Oikawa barged in and rushed to hug me.

“I thought I got rid of my baby.”

I held Haruka closer and snuggled into Oikawa’s embrace.

“I was so scared.”

Oikawa pat my head.

“He’s here and you’re alright.”

I smiled

“Yeah, he is.”

Chapter 25: I’m A Mommy

Having to go through the process of delivering a child was not easy at all to say the least.

“Atsumu Miya if I ever fucking see you again I’m kicking you down there so hard you’ll cry!”

I winced feeling another contraction and glared at Oikawa. “Gosh dang it!”

“Oikawa don’t freeze like and idiot and take me to the hospital!”

I breathed heavily feeling a contraction now and then but these were worse than the others.

“Breath (Y/N)!” He followed the nurses and they lay me on the bed.

“Mam I need you to calm down for a bit.” I nodded while she stepped out Oikawa soon followed. “Wait a minute!

“Oikawa get your ass back in here!”

“I can’t I have to get going!” He felt a smack to the head and turned around noticing his sister.

“Who says you’re going anywhere and go back and support her like a good father! “Hey now I’m not the father!”

“Well for now substitute him!”

“What!”

I yelled for Oikawa to return. “Toru Oikawa get back here!” He gave in and walked back.”

I looked to the left and noticed Emiko and her son outside while the nurse was pushing everyone outside.

“Only one person is allowed inside.” I looked at Oikawa who was gonna step out. “No you better not!”

He nodded and I complained about another contraction. “When can I push him out!” I said quickly to the nurse.

“You’ll know when it’s time the epidural should kick in at any moment.” I looked at the ceiling feeling the contractions ease down a bit.

“I know this is normal but it really does hurt.” I looked at my swollen stomach which had little or should I say big Baby.” (He really is bigger than Yuki’s small baby)“Haruka I have a feeling you’re gonna be a nightmare pushing out.”

Flashback

I stared in horror noticing how much she screamed and pushed in pain

“.Almost there sweetie!” She curses at her husband yelling at him all sorts of names. “Fuck am I gonna go through that?!” I said to myself when I heard the cries of her baby.

Six pounds congratulations a beautiful baby boy.”She smiled while and called me over.

“Look isn’t he cute.” I stared and smiled nodding and realizing the pain couldn’t be so bad.

“Not so bad my ass!” I yelled in pain feeling my baby move down. “What was that! He moved lower!”

The nurse nodded. “It’s almost time you’re not quite there yet. After a few hours who know how many I felt him squirm inside my stomach and felt the biggest contraction that didn’t stop.

“It’s time I know it’s definitely time.” The nurses rushed in and the doctor looked at the nurse and began explaining what I had to do and follow his directions

……

Ready set and push..

Each push came with a yell and curse at how much I hated Atsumu Miya for doing this to me.

“Oikawa it’s hurts I can’t anymore..” I yelled and cried at the pain. I looked at the doctor. “Hurry and take him out!”

“Just a few more pushes.” I glared

“Few more! Ya said that 5 hours ago!”

He told me to push as I yelled cursing as loud as I could.

“Atsumu why are ya making me do this alone ya good for nothing bastard!”

“TSUMU YER FUCKIN’ GONNA LOSE THAT THING BETWEEN YER LEGS!”

……

One more push.

I pushed one last time and yelled in pain using the last of my strength. “Finally” I said and heard the cries of a child.

He’s officially here…

Haruka, the son of Atsumu Miya and (Y/N) (L/N) enters the world with chubby red cheeks.

……..

Atsumu stares at the bright sky feeling a strange sensation unable to explain it as a thought flashed through his mind.

“(Y/N), did I miss something.” He mumbled a frowned placed on his face.

“Atsumu what’s wrong?”

He snapped out of it and looked at the girl that was clinging to him. “Nah, I’m sure it’s not important.” He kissed her cheek: “Let’s go have some fun.”

She grinned as they headed to the movies.

………

He told the girl he wanted nothing to do with her leaving her in tears.

“I thou-”

I don’t love ya so we should break up. I’m not interested in ya and I never will be.

“What did I do wrong?!”

He glared. “Yer disgusting throwing yerself at a man who you’ve just gone on one date so it won’t work out.”

She fell to her knees failing to capture the setter’s heart all she did was give herself to someone who didn’t love her leaving her alone.

She cried watching him leave her house.

Nothing could change Atsumu Miya like you did.

He felt empty after every time he slept some fling sqealing pig who just dated him for his looks and then throw herself at him. “Who cares.” The (H/C) girl appeared in his thoughts.

If you didn’t care then why should he.

“Yer the worst of them all (Y/N).”

………….

She cradled the small infant in her arms. “Welcome to the world Haruka.” He baby snuggles into her feeling the warmth recognizing his mother.

“Congratulations (Y/N).” People that had taken care of her over the past months congratulated her and soon left home since it had gotten pretty late.”

I waved goodbye and focused on the bundle in my arms “I’m a mommy.” I said softly.

The nurse walked in. “Now let’s clean this buddy up so he can go back to mama as soon as possible.”

I smiled as she took him and instantly he started to whimper and cry.

“It seems he’s attached already.” The nurse said cleaning him up.

“Sigh” I leaned back relaxing and noticed a sleeping Oikawa. “You didn’t go home?” He shook his head standing up. “Although it’s getting pretty late and congratulations.” He left leaving me to call my mother.

“Mama, he’s so precious my baby was born.” I smiled. “I really wish you were here to see him.”

“Don’t act all sad I’m on my way!” I smiled.

“Ok mama.”

…….

They brought a sobbing and wailing Haruka who was cleaned and handed him to me. “There is your mama.” I took him in my arms as he instantly stopped crying recognizing my warmth.

“He’s quite hungry.” I looked at her. “Is that why my chest feels like this?” She nodded. “Every time this happens to prevent it you have to breast feed him.”

I nodded embarrassed looking at the child who already seemed to be waiting by staring at his mother. “I’ll show you so don’t worry”

“She instructed me and he instantly latched himself to my breast and began to suckle for milk”

I looked at the nurse embarrassed. “It’s okay you’ll get used to it.” When she left I stared at the infant with a soft smile. “Atsumu we’re parents.”

“Well it’s just me.” I closed my eyes.

“I hope you’re doing alright.” I hear the door open and my mom walked in.

“(Y/N)!” She rushed over startling me and Haruka who unlatched himself startled and snuggled into me. “Seems he’s full.”

I covered myself while my mom walked over and noticed him. “Hand him over sweetie.” I nodded. “He’s eight pounds a little heavy.”

“Woah you had quite the challenge there.” I nodded “I mean you were only five pounds.” My eyes widened. “He is a big baby.”

As soon as she grabbed him he began to squirm. “Hey little guy I’m your grandma.” The boy stared at her quietly and looked around not seeing his mother in sight. “He’s looking for you (Y/N)

The infant then teared up and cried. “Oh my he wants to go with his mom.”

She handed him to me and he instantly stopped crying snuggling and nuzzled into my breast. “He’s still hungry that’s probably why.” I looked at my mom embarrassed. “What’s wrong?”

“Can you turn around mama?” She raised her eyebrow. “Honey I changed your diaper and bathed you as a baby.” I looked away. “It’s still embarrassing.” She glared

“Why are you embarrassed I mean you already let a boy knock you up and see you all over!” I frowned. “Don’t remind me.”

I looked at the child who stared at me his chocolate brown eyes that resembled his father as well as his other features.

“You’re right I was shameful enough to open my legs to him and ended up having little Haruka what’s the point in being embarrassed.”

I gave in and fed him while my mother hugged me. “I’m sorry sweetie I didn’t mean to snap like that.” I nodded snuggling into her for warmth.

“Mama what am I gonna do.” I seeked comfort. from the woman who brought me into this world. “You’ll work hard in school and take care of your child.”

She looked at me. “I don’t know if you remember this but when you were smaller and your dad passed away you told me something.” I looked at her. “I did what was it?”

She pat her stomach and said it. “Mother’s don’t cry so stop crying.”

I looked at her and smiled. “Oh and you told me to go to my room and scolded me of course I remember but I made you feel better didn’t I?”

She nodded and noticed Haruka asleep. “He’s asleep.” I looked down confused “Why is he still drinking milk?”

“He’s a baby it’s normal.” I looked at him. “He’s been latched and isn’t even drinking milk.”

“I guess he’s just seeking the warmth of you.”

I unlatched him and he was still asleep as I kissed his forhead.

I handed him to her. “Here he’s asleep I don’t think he’ll cry.” She grabbed him and smiled tearing up. “Why is he so adorable.”

I nodded closing my eyes feeling sleep take over. “Mama I’m gonna take a nap I’m tired.”

……..

I woke up and noticed the bassinet near me which had my sleeping baby.

“Feeling better (Y/N)?” I nodded sitting up.

“Yeah I wanna go home already to.”

………

I held my baby exiting the hospital along with my mother entering her car.

“When do you start school again?”

“I am taking courses online and I was given two weeks after my baby is born.”

She nodded.

…….

Over the past few days he’s been a little gremlin.

“Mommy is awake!” I walked to him picking him up cooing him. “Don’t cry please let mommy sleep for a bit.”

I yawned on my bed falling asleep with Haruka in my arms.

You’re ok Mama loves you and always will.

Haruka snuggled into his mother’s chest falling asleep.

I may seem fine….

When in reality I’m terrified

Chapter 24: Changes

“W-What is this?!”

I stepped into the bathroom and noticed my shirt was wet.

“Why am I..”

I looked and realized what it was. “Are you serious!” I had no idea what to do. “What should I do if my breasts are leaking what is going on?!”

“How in the world do I stop this?!”

I cleaned myself up until it stopped but my breast felt heavy. “Are you kidding me!” I touched my swollen stomach of 23 weeks. (Six Months Pregnant)

As if on cue I felt a kick. “Oh boy little Haruka is ready to start the day.” I smiled and cringed feeling my chest wet again.

“Ok little Haruka explain what you are doing to my body.” I looked at my stomach. “I mean ya already took over my tummy now yer making my breast leak milk this early!”

I sighed feeling a kick to the ribs. “Sorry mommy didn’t mean to upset you now please don’t kick my ribs that hurts.”

……..

I received a text message from Oikawa.

“Hey (Y/N)! I’m outside let’s go shopping!”

“Sigh”

On my way

……

I stepped in the car. “Didn’t ya have a date today?”

She shook his head “No in fact I’ve broken a record I haven’t gone on a date since the first yoga class we had together!” I raised my eyebrow “So you’re saying all of my second trimester of pregnancy you didn’t go on a single date with a girl?”

“Okay I went on a few dates but that’s it!” He said “I didn’t bring them home I promise!” I nodded “Okay but you don’t have to overreact like I’m gonna go all crazy and cause a scene I mean we’re not even seeing each other.”

“Wait we’re not?” I looked at him “I’m kidding I’m not gonna date a pregnant girl.” I glared “Oh so because I’m fat I’m not pretty enough to date!”

He sweat dropped. “I’m sorry there now don’t get mad or little Haruka is gonna wake up!” A tick mark appeared on my forhead “Don’t piss me of Oikawa!”

He nodded “Calm your hormones down there.”

“That’s it.” I pulled his ear. “Don’t tell me your head is full of air ya should know better than to piss of a pregnant woman.”

“Women? I don’t see one.”

“OIKAWA SHUT YER TRAP!”

He smiled “There’s that beautiful accent I love”

“Oh hush up and take me to the store as you can see I’m fat and need to eat more so I can get even fatter.”

He looked at me and noticed something “You know the matternity sweater and leggings look quite nice on you.” I sighed annoyed “Okay Mr. Playboy just drive.” He pouts

“I’m being serious here.”

…….

I walked to the store stopping every four minutes annoyed at my aching legs and back. “I hate being pregnant.” I mumbled while oikawa stopped with me. “Are you alright?” I glared.

“Does it look like I’m fucking fine to ya huh!” I calmed my temper realizing I was getting upset over nothing.

“I’m sorry Oikawa I’ve just been in a bad mood recently.” He smiled. “Alright then make it up to me by buying me milk bread!”

“Ugh.”

………

We entered the store and I immediately felt self conscious of my appearance when I felt the stares of girls who seemed to be around my age and Oikawa seemed to notice.

“Hey don’t worry their staring at me there’s nothing to look at when it comes to you.” I felt a tick. “If that’s yer way of making me feel better Well yer wrong!” I puffed walking ahead. “Where are you off too?”

“Well as it so happens I’ve been craving fatty tuna with peanut butter and mushrooms.”

………

We exited the shop while Oikawa was surrounded by some girls. “Why am I not surprised.

I walked to the car. “Well he is carrying the stuff I’ll let him have a bit of a break.

(These girls are a bunch off annoying pigs.)

“Wait what?” I noticed my change in behavior “Am I turning into Atsumu or something?!” I looked at my stomach. “Haruka you better not have me wake up with blonde hair tomorrow.”

I closed my eyes coaxing off for a bit when Oikawa came back. “Woah there don’t fall asleep leaning in my car.” I looked at him annoyed. “Are you done flirting?” He rubbed the back of his neck. “It’s not what it looks like”

“No wait oika-” The bag dropped somethings but what got me the worst was that the precious tuna I wanted was on the ground still wrapped but seriously. “Ya need to quit it and get in the car! Yer to much I swear!”

…….

Oikawa POV

They arrived at her house and he noticed her sleeping figure. “She’s knocked out.” He opened the car grabbing the groceries and took a spare key opening the door then came back and picked you up walking into the living room and setting you on the couch. “I guess I’ll take a break for a bit.”

He grabbed the control making himself at home. “How about some volleyball games.” He grabbed the remote but stopped.

“Atsu-” He turned around noticing her sleeping figure.

“What was that?”

“Atsumu…” He walked closer.

“Tsumu… I don’t wanna do this alone.” He noticed her tears.

“I don’t wanna raise our baby alone I’m scared.”

He sighed softly patting her head. “Atsumu?” He closed his eyes dozing off. “It must be Haruka’s dad.” He then thought to himself. “That name seems familiar.”

………..

(Y/N) POV

During my 39 weeks of pregnancy I had to put school on hold which was required since I was in my last month and oh boy was it exhausting.

“Oh my gosh I can’t even move.”

I felt a huge kick. “I know you’re the size of a watermelon but still.” (I feel like I’m bigger than Yuki)

I tried to sit up with back pain that was more annoying than anything as I grabbed the folder of the last and final ultrasound I had. “My cute haruka is already a fully developed baby.”

I sighed. “I’m third trimester which is kinda scary I mean I could pop earlier but at least it’s good that he’s already developed.”

I felt another kick and winced. “I know you’re there you don’t have to remind me.” I felt another one. “You’re awake and making mommy hungry.” I dialed a number. “Oikawa are you busy?”

“(Y/N)!” I sighed “Are you busy?”

“No I’m not what’s up!”

“I’m really hungry so I was wondering if y-”

“Of course I can what do you want!”

“Please don’t yell.” I could tell he pouted.

“What does Ms. Mama need?”

“Fatty tuna and pizza with pickles and ice cream!”

“On it M’lady!”

Oikawa POV

“Who was that?” He turned and faced the gir he was supposed to hang out with. “Actually someone I care about so I’ll see you.”

“What! You never go out with anyone anymore!”

“You think so? I also don’t remember inviting you so ya just kinda tagged along.”

“Ya?”

“Oops her accent is rubbing off on me.”

He waved giving her a closed eye smiled

“Next time maybe!”

……….

Meanwhile

(Y/N) POV

I winced feeling a small contraction.

“Fuck that hurts!” I breathed heavily.

“I can’t stand up heck no that hurts.”

I got up feeling him kick along with another small contraction.

“Ugh you know Haruka these contractions are getting worse each day now don’t do this to mommy she has to eat her pizza then give me all the contactions you want.”

I closed my eyes dozing off before I hear my keys and my door was unlocked.

“(Y/N)! Your prince is here!” I woke up hearing that and cringed.

He entered the room and noticed me on the bed.

“Aren’t you gonna go and eat?” I glared at him. “You took so long I decided to eat a sandwich.” I felt sick of sitting down and stood up feeling Haruka turn. “He’s been so restless today.”

I touched my stomach and noticed something strange. “What’s wrong?” I shook my head. “I don’t know but I felt a kick lower in my stomach than usual.” I winced feeling it again. “That hurts!” I breathed heavily bending down.

“(Y/N)!” Then the pain in my stomach went away.

“Sorry I don’t know what that was maybe he’s getting ready to come out soon.” Oikawa panicked. “Like today?!” I shook my head “No he is a little over due he was actually supposed to arrive two days ago and it’s all good.”

I waddled to the kitchen wincing. “Oh shit.” I turned to oikawa smiling giving a close eye’d smile. “Hey oikawa.” He looked at me confused. “Remind me to kill Atsumu Miya the next time I see him.”

Oikawa noticed something run down my leg. “Oh no (Y/N) your W-water just broke!” I winced feeling another contraction and glared at Oikawa.

“God dang it’s Oikawa don’t freeze like and idiot and take me to the hospital idiot!” I breathed heavily feeling a contraction now and then but these were worse than the others.

Chapter 23: The Five Stages Of Grief

Miyako looked around the classroom noticing the looks people gave her including the teacher.

(Can’t they see I did this because I love him)

…….

She ran through the halls and noticed all the stares feeling angered and embarrassed she yelled out “I DID THIS BECAUSE I LOVE HIM AND SHE TOOK HIM FROM ME!”

She continued yelled out things because she embarrassed at people who continued to whisper behind her back running away she had to try and explain to him to make him understand how much she love him.

“Atsumu!” She yelled after him looking around and saw him. “I can expla-” He glared at her. “Explain what ya have nothing to explain to me.”

She hugged him but he didn’t hug back. “Please! I didn’t want to hurt you!” He pulled her away. “Well why did ya do it then.”

He contained his anger.

“I DID IT BECAUSE SHE WAS GONNA TAKE YOU FROM ME AND I COULD’NT BARE IT!”

“THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YA DO IT!” He yelled back snapping. “I can’t stand ya I don’t wanna see ya near me again.” He turned around “We’re done.”

“Well she’s gone Atsumu! You never had her and you never will!” She yelled back while he stopped in his tracks. “I know.”

He continued walking away not bothering to look at anyone.

“I know I’ll never have her back in my arms again.”

He knew the moment he let go he lost her.

…..

There died Miyako’s plan to keep the man she loved her payback came back with expulsion and heartbreak.”

She exited school running into Osamu.

“Ya don’t have to feel bad I mean ya got what ya had coming.” She ignored him. “Ya know he still loves her and she loves him.”

“Ya can’t change change the fact that my brother will continue to love her for a long time.”

“I can’t say the same for her. She’ll move on.”

“ya probably realized that.”

Miyako cried and entered her car facing embarrassment and how her reputation was ruined in not just school but in her future.

……

Stage 1: Grief

Grief is an overwhelming emotion. It’s not unusual to respond to the intense and often sudden feelings by pretending the loss or change isn’t happening. Denying it gives you time to more gradually absorb the news and begin to process it. This is a common defense mechanism and helps numb you to the intensity of the situation.

Atsumu talked a lot. What did he talk about exactly?

He talked about the (H/C) girl with the (E/C) eyes.

All he did was talk about how much he love her and how he will continue to love her.

“Samu look!” He pointed at cheesy letter he wrote. “Do ya think if i show this to her she’ll marry me?!”

“Don’t ya think yer going to far. Yer scaring me Tsumu.”

“Hey Samu! (Y/N)’s almost coming to school! I can’t wait!”

His brother sighed shaking his head and ignored his brother’s antics.

“Shut up its past midnight and I’m trying to get some sleep.”

…….

So the great Atsumu Miya waited even after the time her suspension was supposed to end.

“Where is she.” He said exhausted of looking at her empty desk. “(Y/N) ya where supposed to be back two weeks ago.”

“She absolutely wouldn’t do this to me. She’ll realize she’s wrong and be back here tomorrow.”

…….

Stage 2: Anger

Anger where denial may be considered a coping mechanism, anger is a masking effect. Anger is hiding many of the emotions and pain that you carry. This anger may be redirected at other people, You may even aim your anger at inanimate objects.

“Cut the Crap and tell me where she is!” He pushed Osamu in the locker room.” While Osamu glared. “I don’t know just let it go!” Atsumu kicked the door open head out to the gym in practice.”

……

He realized it the moment two weeks had gone by with his stage of denial. “She’s gone.” He glared at the picture he had of the (H/C) girl.

He wandered to the empty dark park anger filled him slowly before he knew it he was curing at her.

“Ya lied to me!” He glared at the picture throwing it on the ground and stepped on it. “Tell me what a more important than the promise we made!” He yelled out.

“Why are ya gone! I don’t understand I know I fucked up but ya don’t have to go and leave for a single mistake I made!”

He picked up the crumpled picture and stared at hot anger filled with sadness as the tears fell from his cheeks. “I hate ya. You’ll regret leaving me!”

Stage 3: Bargaining

During grief, you may feel vulnerable and helpless. In those moments of intense emotions, it’s not uncommon to look for ways to regain control or to want to feel like you can affect the outcome of an event. In the bargaining stage of grief, you may find yourself creating a lot of “what if” and “if only” statements.

He sat in the desk in his room his hands laced together.

“(Y/N), it’s not yer fault it’s mine.”

“Why was I such an jerk to ya I’m so sorry.”

“If only I had spent more time with her, she would have stayed.”

He sobbed

“Ya would have been with me and not left without telling me.”

“Why can’t ya see that I love ya.”

“I love ya so much it fucking hurts to see ya disappear without a trace”

“Can’t ya at least let me call then again how can ya when yer phone is disconnected.”

Atsumu drowned in his thought thinking about “what if” and “if only” statements.

“If she’ll give me another chance, I’ll be a better person to her. I’ll love her and give her everything she asks.”

…….

Stage 4: Depression

In the early stages of loss, you may be running from the emotions, trying to stay a step ahead of them. By this point, however, you may be able to embrace and work through them in a more healthful manner. You may also choose to isolate yourself from others in order to fully cope with the loss.

He drowned himself in volleyball and don’t bother to interact with people like before his personality turning cold and the fake smiles he gave which meant for the person to “Fuck off”

“Osamu I’m worried about your brother.”

Osamu sighed. “It’s his fault.” She shook her head. “He won’t even eat that much or come out of his room at all please talk to him.”

He walked in and noticed his brother who lay in bed. “Idiot get yer shit together ma is worried about ya.”

He didn’t bother to face him.

“She’s not here Samu so why go on at all?” Osamu glared. “Ya don’t have the right to be acting this way.”

Not when she’s forced to grow up and grief at the fact that she’s having a kid at her age and it wasn’t just any kid the kid belong to his idiot brother.

“Yer not worth it.” He turned around. “When ya get yer shit together and accept reality take a break and not stress yerself crazy.”

Stage 5: Acceptance

Acceptance is not necessarily a happy or uplifting stage of grief. It doesn’t mean you’ve moved past the grief or loss. It does, however, mean that you’ve accepted it and have come to understand what it means in your life now.

“She’s gone and I can’t find her.”

“Tch, she just left without saying anything.”

All the stages combined made Atsumu realize that your gone and to him it wasn’t just his fault.

“Yer so weak to just leave for a petty reason like this.”

“How could she do this to me? How selfish is she? How did I mess this up?”

“Who fucking needs her! I don’t need her.”

“She’s a coward who left for a stupid reason.”

“One day she’ll come back begging for forgiveness and I’ll be there to laugh at her on the ground making her regret all the pain she put me through.”

“I’ll fine someone better than ya at everything.”

Hence forth began the turn of Atsumu Miya’s personality change making him into an even bigger jerk

………

Meanwhile.

“Oh my little Haruka I love you so much!”

She kissed her stomach while the boy with orange hair excitedly filled her in on a team that was on their way to defeat the second best school in the prefecture. Also how he was on his way to playing the best school in Miyagi eventually making it to the finals.

“I promise when I invite ya to nationals I’ll give you and little Haruka a good show!”

I smiled

“We look forward to it.”

He looked at my now even bigger swollen stomach.

“By the time you’re there this little guy will already be out of my belly and will officially join this world and he’ll be glad to see you play.” I smiled at him. “We both will no matter what obstacles are needed to be faced I’m sure you’ll do fine.”

He smiled grinning excitedly “I can’t wait to see little Haruka and teach him all about volleyball!” I smiled feeling a surprisingly soft gentle kick. “I’m sure he’ll have a blast.”

“After all his dad is all about volleyball.”

I smiled

“That moment I realized in order to heal I have to forgive.”

“I forgive you Atsumu.”

I rubbed my stomach

“I promise I’ll take care of this child in your place even if you want nothing to do with us.”

“I hope you’ll achieve your dreams and meet someone who you’ll love and be with forever.”

I felt a few tears slip.

“If you’re happy that’s all we need to know you’re doing alright.”

“I forgive you Atsumu although I don’t think I can easily let you back into my heart.”

SLEEP THE NIGHT — miya atsumu

Type:Standalone Movie (One-Shot Fiction)

Cast:Miya Atsumu

Storyline:Tonight, he want to be the best boyfriend that he could be.

Genre: Drama, Slice of Life

He never cooked.

Miya Atsumu never dared to stand in the kitchen because he knew too well what could possibly happen. His twin brother who was now the owner of the infamous onigiri chain always told him that whatever he touched somehow turned into fire.

But he didn’t care, at this moment he could only focus on the opened page of his tablet where your favourite food displayed. He tried to find the high rated recipe, even though it was not the simplest one, he just wanted to cook what was best for you.

After all, a perfect woman like you only deserves the nicest thing in life.

You were so patient, always supporting him through every step that he took. Never once you complained about his busy schedule, his almost non-existent presence inside the apartment you shared, or even the way he put you second after volleyball.

Volleyball always came first, that was a fact that you knew since you dated him long ago in high school. He loved the said sport more than anything in the world. His fiery passions, his energy, his time — he gave it all to a sport that he found together with his brother when they were just a silly kid.

And then came you, always silencing all those nosy new supporters when it was time for him to serve. Then came you, helping him answer a question that his teacher threw at him because he fell asleep in class after a harsh tournament.

You, a woman who helped him get through his days as your existence was like a guiding star for him.

He would fall into pieces if you were not there, walking by his side to remind him of time. He needed time to eat, time to rest, time to let loose and hang out with his beloved friends from high school. Atsumu was sure that he would be lost without you there for him.

So just this one time, he wanted to make it right for you.

“You don’t have to cook for me, Atsumu.” He just hummed to give you a sign that he heard you. “Atsumu, please.” But he ignored your plea and continued to read the recipe. He wanted to do something good, something that a perfect boyfriend should do.

You could only let out a sigh as you sat on the kitchen island’s stool, eyeing the national setter as he carefully added some ingredients on the pan. He hissed as the oil splashed out a little, hitting his skin that made him go into panic mode.

A chuckle slipped from your lips as you saw him frantically running to the sink, letting out a sigh of relief once he could feel cold water streaming down his hand, easing the pain in an instant. He really tried, today he really tried.

You didn’t have the heart to stop him since you knew that once he set his mind on something, he wouldn’t care about what anyone else’s said. So you just sat there, becoming a company that he wanted, just like you always became for years slipping into his life.

“Come on, Atsumu.” He insisted you to stay still as he cooked for you, and you didn’t want to hurt his pride by walking toward him without telling him first. “Let me help you.” So you asked, hoping that he would accept your proposition.

“Nope! Let me try this on my own.” He answered with the same excitement as before and went back to his task. “Just sit there, I am almost done. Promise.” Then he calmed down, composing himself so he could cook with a clear mind.

He needed to do it, he couldn’t let tonight turn into another day where you ended up being the one who took care of him.

Atsumu turned off the stove before preparing the pristine white plate that would be used to showcase your favourite dish. He smiled in triumph as he looked at the masterpiece. Tonight was the first time he cooked a meal like this, and he couldn’t help but be proud of himself for this one achievement.

Though, the glee that he felt right now was nothing compared to the twinkle that was seen in your eyes.

Your lips tugged into a smile as he set down the meal in front of you. He didn’t want to eat, no, he wanted to see you first as your hand grabbed the fork. And the second you popped the piece into your mouth, he never felt this happy to see someone he loved enjoying his hard work.

You squealed a little, humming in satisfaction as you tasted the food that the blonde made just for you. It was happiness, written all over your face as you continued to eat, and each bite only made you crave for more.

Maybe this was what Osamu felt, maybe this was the reason why his brother wanted to be in the culinary career. To make people smile, to see the joyful look from your loved one for something that you made.

Wouldn’t it be lucky to have the younger twin as a lover? Running a respected business, working together with a dear friend, all bills covered, making something that others could enjoy, things that his lover would cherish at the end of the day.

Truthfully — Atsumu was a little bit jealous of his twin right now.

Because with volleyball, he couldn’t do the same. Sure, you were there on almost every match that he had. Yes, there was always a smile on your face as you cheered for him. And of course, you looked so happy as you stood at the stands with pride swelling your chest.

But was that enough to give to a lover?

His winning only belonged to him, it was something that anyone else couldn’t enjoy, except maybe his teammate. Unlike food that could be tasted, unlike clothes that could be worn. Volleyball just, well, volleyball. It was a sport that he loved, one that he couldn’t share with a lover.

Yet you never changed, you never left him. Even though he couldn’t give much, even though he was not that perfect boyfriend who could pay all the bills and buy you expensive gifts — you stayed, for such a long time, patiently there even though he was barely around.

“Atsumu?”

He jolted when his name slipped from your lips. Brown orbs immediately finding yours that filled with concern, face softened at whatever expression that was shown on his facade right now. “Why don’t you eat your meal? Do you dislike it now?”

“No, no.” He cleared his throat, avoiding your gaze for a moment. “I like it, I like anything that you love, (Y/n).” He wanted to bonk his head for saying such a cliche sentence, but he couldn’t help it since it was exactly what he felt.

You only gave him a smile before focusing back to the meal that he made for you. And for him, seeing you like this, so adorable as you shove your favourite food in your mouth — he wished that he did something like this sooner, adding some spices to his endless routine at the court.

Addingyou,to his daily routine.

“I am going to clean the dishes, okay?” You said softly as you got up from your seat. Your plate was already empty with how fast you ate the meal. “You already cooked, so let me do this one.”

He didn’t answer and just ate the rest of the food on his plate. With his speed, he choked a little but kept continuing anyway. He gulped down a glass of water right after his plate was clean without anything on top of it.

“No. Let me be a good boyfriend to-”

“Atsumu.”

The setter immediately went silent from the intonation that you used. Stern, yet still filled with warm. He didn’t dare to say anything as you grabbed his plate away, afraid that he would ruin the perfect night.

Like what he always did, like all the nights before this.

“Just go upstairs, I will join you in bed once I am done.” He didn’t move though, eyes fleeting to where you were right now as you walked to the sink.

“You promise?”

You dropped the plate gently, letting out a sigh before turning your face toward him. There it was, a smile that always made him feel at ease. You looked so breathtaking even if you only cladded with old pajamas and hair sticking out like you haven’t combed for days.

“I promise, Atsumu.”

And with that, he stood up. Knowing for sure that you were a woman of your word.

Atsumu wanted to walk up toward you, wrapping his arms around your torso as he let his face rested on your nape, sniffling your scent as much as he could. But he was afraid, he never did that before, what if you didn’t get used to him for being so touchy like that?

He decided to turn his head and ascend to the second floor where the shared bedroom was located. When he thought about it, he was rarely there, sleeping on the same bed with you even though it would be years since he had you as his lover.

Most of the time he was always out, practising until late at night, bonding with his teammates, and decided to crash at his friend’s apartment instead since it was too far from his place to their gymnasium. Yet you always reached for him. Making time to give him some healthy lunchboxes and snacks in between your busy hours of work.

He realised that he was such a bad boyfriend.

“Hey, ‘Tsumu-”

“You are coming today, right?” He asked with excitement as he zipped his team jacket up. “We are going to play against Suna! Ha, I want to rile him up so much I wonder how he is in the court right now.” He looked like a child, gleeful as he looked at his reflection on the mirror. “You gonna be there?”

You could only stare at him, spinning your brain to think about what sentence that you should let out.

“W-Well, of course.” You cleared his throat, cursing at yourself for even stuttering. “You promised to take me to that restaurant you reserved after the match too, how could I waste a chance to spend time with my boyfriend?”

And as you saw his face contorted into a shocked one, you knew that you were back in the same cycle all over again. “You forget, didn’t you?”

“Fuck, I am sorry.” He immediately turned his face toward you, fear coated his eyes. “I forgot to make the reservation and I— shit! I even promised Suna to hang out after that.” He immediately took a few steps forward, wanting to cup your cheek as he knew you didn’t deserve to be treated like this — from time to time.

“It’s okay, 'Tsumu.” And this was always the outcome. “Volleyball world comes first, I know. It’s alright.” For you to be so understanding, for you to realise your place. “Just make it up for me by enjoying your game. Win this game for me, maybe?”

He was relieved that you didn’t get angry, most women would kick his ass if he acted like this all the time. But never you, never his (Y/n).

“You know I always win.” He chuckled softly, followed by yours as he leaned in to press his lips on your forehead. “And today is nothing different. Why would I need to win for you just today though? The other match wins were all for you too.”

“So it’s like a routine, then?” Your eyes fleeting to pierce into his brown orbs. “Hey, 'Tsumu, do you have any plan for me today?”

Why did he feel like that question was a trap? With how your eyes filled with hope, he wanted to say that he indeed had a plan for you. But he didn’t, and he couldn’t lie. Because in the end, you always see right through him. That was proven by how the hope was gone even before he could part his lips.

“I see.” There was a little remorse in your tone, and he wanted to cheer you up in an instant. “That’s okay, then!” Yet you were the one who cheered him up, didn’t want him to worry about anything. “Come on, let’s go. I don’t want your teammates to be wary if you are late!”

He frowned when he remembered that day. How he dropped you to stay with his twin brother the whole match, the way your eyes glimmered as Osamu gave you a lunch box filled with your favourite filling onigiri. The hug that was shared, that lingered longer as his twin congratulated you a ’happy birthday’.

Atsumu wanted to punch himself when he realised that it was your birthday after all. The reason why you wanted to spend time with him, why you seemed more clingy that day, of course. And yet, he was not the first person who gave you the greetings, even though he was the one who you saw first thing in the morning.

He always wondered about why you decided to stay with him in his free time that was almost non-existence.

How you always let everything slide, how you suck it up and just focus on his well being, how you answer everyone teasing about him being a bad boyfriend — yet you always answered with pride that whatever happened, he was a good one, and you were happy to have him as your boyfriend.

But at one point, anyone must have hit their limit. Right?

“What is clouding in that big head of yours, Atsumu?” You flicked his forehead, and it was like a reminder to him that he had you in his arms right now, laying under the warm blanket in the bedroom that you two shared. “Your upcoming—”

“You.” He answered truthfully before averting his gaze from the ceiling to your face. “I was thinking about you, honestly.”

There was a flicker of sadness in your eyes, and he wanted to curse at himself for saying something like that out of the blue. “I am sorry, I know that tonight was supposed to be just us enjoying the moment together and not being sappy.”

He held your body even closer than before, afraid that you would be gone too soon if he let it loose. His body shifted a little so he could plant a kiss at the crown of your head, eyes fluttering close as he bathed on the scent that reminded him that he would never be alone.

No words were being said after that, just you and him in each other’s embrace. Your fingers stayed in his unruly hair, caressing the blonde strands that slowly lulled him to sleep.

But he didn’t want to sleep yet. He didn’t want to close his eyes. He wanted to savour the moment with you, one that he rarely felt with how he always prioritised volleyball above everything else. Above you, even.

Atsumu rubbed his eyes from time to time, insisting to stay awake and gripped your hips a little tighter than before. Just one more minute, he wanted to feel your warm body cuddling against his skin for a little longer.

“Hey, (Y/n).” He called out, earning a little hum of acknowledgement slipping from your lips. “Can you call me like you used to?”

He could feel how your body went rigid for a second. Your breath hitched, halted as if the request was something that could hurt you. “I understand if you can’t though. I am okay if you didn’t, I just want to hear it again.”

One second, two seconds, everything felt so heavy as he waited for your answer. He wanted to hear his nickname from your lips, it sounds so lovely, not irritating like how his brother called him with the same name.

“Okay,'Tsumu.”

He felt so relieved as he heard his name rolled down your tongue. Happiness, love, comfort, he found it all with the way you called his name. You always use that nickname ever since you dated him, and it felt like a lifetime ago since the last time he heard it from you.

It was just Atsumu now. No more 'Tsumu, just his full first name that still sounded so odd since he still couldn’t believe his mind. No, he could believe it. With how much he neglected you, with how much he was never there in your life — he acknowledged it. He just didn’t want to.

“You should sleep, 'Tsumu.” Your fingers trailed down his cheek as you looked up. “You have practice tomorrow, right?”

You knew all about his schedules, all the things that he allowed to eat and things that he had to do. You printed his routine in the back of your mind, somehow up until now, you couldn’t help but care for him.

“Yeah, I have practice tomorrow.” He gulped down before booping your nose playfully. “But I want to stay awake a little more. If that’s too much to ask?”

He mustered his puppy eyes, pouting a little and tightening his embrace around you. This was your weakness, to see him all clingy like this. And when you let out a sigh and giggle, he knew that he got you.

“God, I love you so much to resist you, you know that?” You whispered out under your breath. But then as if you knew in an instant what you had said, you cleared your throat. “Okay, I give in. Stop giving me that puppy eyes, Atsumu.”

“Sorry, sorry.” He smiled sheepishly before resting his head comfortably on the pillow once again, securing you in his embrace as you laid back on his chest. “One more question, (Y/n). And then I promised I would zip my mouth after that until we fell asleep.”

“Alright, shoot.”

He frowned a little, eyes scanning the unfamiliar ceiling. He was not supposed to feel like a guest in his own place. Yet as he saw the beige coloured ceiling with some starlight sticker, he didn’t feel right. Yeah, it was the price that he had to pay for rarely here in this apartment with you.

“From scale zero to ten, how perfect of a man I am today?”

He heard a sigh, another one slipped from you. Atsumu could count how many times you had sigh because of him, and he really wished that he could make you laugh instead of giving you headaches like this. “Don’t sugarcoat though, I just needed the truth.”

“Ten.” You answered without doubt, yet as he looked down, wanting to see your eyes, you didn’t look up. “Not just today, you always had a perfect score as a man. Passionate, have a big dream, would do anything to achieve it. If not I am not going to be your girlfriend for so long.”

Ah, he just realised that he used the wrong term in his question.

“Let me rephrase it, (Y/n).” He closed his eyes, thinking if he was ready to hear the truth or not. “From scale zero to ten, how perfect of a boyfriend I am today?”

You clutched the tight shirt that he wore at his question, burying your face on his chest to hide yourself. He raised one of his eyebrows in confusion, didn’t know why you couldn’t answer it. Maybe it was that bad, maybe he could never be a good boyfriend after all.

“Perfect.” He almost couldn’t hear your answer with how it muffled on his shirt. “You are so perfect today, 'Tsumu.”

Though he could hear it so clearly, the answer. He wanted to hear the other statement, of how he was alwaysa perfect boyfriend, just like how you told him he was a perfect man. But of course it was not possible, he never became a lover that you could be proud of.

All these time, you complimented him, you showed to the world his capability. His skill in volleyball, his soft side toward his brother, how loyal he was to his friends — but you never said anything about how good of a boyfriend he was.

It was just all about him, not how he treatedyou.

“Hold me,” He pleaded, biting his lips since he didn’t want his voice to waver. “Hold me tighter than usual.” His voice sounded like a whisper as he held you close, and he wanted you to do the same. “Please?”

Miya Atsumu was not someone who liked to beg, he knew you always gave what he wanted anyway. “Just tonight.” But he wouldn’t gamble anything right now. “I just need it tonight.”

He swallowed down the tears that entreating to escape from his eyes. With how your arm moved to hold him close, caging him in a circle filled with comfort, maybe this was enough to be remembered.

Maybe this was enough to be remembered forever.

“I love you, 'Tsumu.”

You sat in the living room with your head hanging low, hands covering your face as you didn’t have the courage to look up at where your boyfriend sat. “But I am… Tired.”

This was the first time he saw you cry. No, the first one was when he won national all those years ago in high school as he screamed at you that he won for you too. But never like this, the tears you shed right now was different from back then. “I tried, I really want to stay with you, to kiss you every morning, to cuddle with you under the blanket.”

He couldn’t say anything, heart thundering as he knew what would happen next. He was not stupid, of course everyone had their limit, and after years went by with a stagnant pace in the relationship — of course you were going to hit it, sooner or later.

“But you are never there, 'Tsumu.”

You finally looked at him, and you could feel your heart shattered even more when you saw his expression. He was dumbstruck, tongue-tied. It was as if he knew that this day would happen, but he still didn’t want to believe it.

He didn’t want to believe that one day you would get tired of being second in his life.

“Does that mean…” He couldn’t ask, knowing the answer to his next question. But he needed to make sure. “Does that mean you want to end this?”

The sunlight that slipped in between curtains was the one who woke him up. He hissed as it reached his eyes, forcing him to wake up. But he closed his eyes once again, stirring his body a little to wrap his arms around you, wanting to feel the warm that your body radiated.

Yet he was only met with cold.

And that was the thing that woke him up in an instant.

His breath laboured as he sat on the bed, brown orbs scanning the room that he shared with you. No, you didn’t just leave, right? But he scanned the room, again and again, searching for any kind of sign that you were still there.

Then again, who was he anyway, to know the signs. He was never here, he could count how many nights that he slept here with you. Atsumu didn’t even remember there were any photographs of you and him together hanging on the wall, he didn’t even know the time you decided to put some starlight sticker on the ceiling, he didn’t know what was the difference between this morning and the others.

Though one thing that he knew for sure, you would always be there when he woke up here.

“Then, please. Give me just one day! I just need one day of your life.”

Atsumu knew that this morning would come, when emptiness met him and reality sinked in as he remembered all the flaws that he had. His feet dragged him out from the bedroom that now felt suffocating for him. He needed you, he had to see you.

“But, Atsu—”

“I will prove it to you! I promise that I’ll make things right for you.”

It was so quiet, there was no music playing on the soundbar. You used to play some upbeat songs to fill the silence as you waited for him to show up after shower. Yet as he walked down the stairs, he could only hear his own footsteps.

“And then you can leave. You can sneak out when I am asleep. You know how much of a heavy sleeper I am, right?”

But then, he was right from the start.

“Alright, Atsumu. I will give you one more night.”

You were indeed — a woman of your words.

you had taken a different route to work today. you’d overslept, but it was supposedly okay because you were taking an off tomorrow anyway. your parents were coming to your apartment to visit you, because you’d moved to a different part of tokyo as soon as you’d gotten your job. you check your watch as you fasten your speed. and as your eyes look up again, they glance over a little sign on the window of the restaurant you pass by. you keep walking, but as soon as the information processes in your mind, you stop. and then your feet make a one-eighty degree turn on their own, walking back towards the sign. your eyes widen as you stand on the pavement, the board above the restaurant making your heart jump out of your chest.

onigiri miya.

miya?” you murmur, blinking profusely. your lips part, and you think. maybe, just maybe.

you open the door.

the bell jingles as you walk to the counter, waiting in the line to see the cashier. there’s two more people in front of you. one of them seems like an ordinary businessman. the other is an old lady, smiling as she pulls out her purse to get the exact amount of cash she needs for her order. it seems as if she’s a regular. since when was this place open, anyway?

“welcome to onigiri miya, what can i get you today?” the cashier asks. he seems like a tired college student. you ponder for a moment, looking up at the menu before you say, “i’ll have the second combo with a lemon iced tea as the drink, please.”

“that will be seven hundred yen, would you prefer cash or card?”

“erm, card please-”

“oi, takeuchi, make sure to restock the tuna in half an hour! the counter’s runnin’ out any second now- [y/n]?” and there he is. just like you suspected. miya osamu, standing in all of his glory, clad in a black baseball cap with an onigiri embroidered on it. he wears a black tee, and a black apron with the same onigiri logo. his grey eyes blink at you profusely as you give him a tight-lipped smile.

“hi, ‘samu,” you say, “h-how are you?”

“excuse me, if you could just finish paying. i’m kind of in a hurry,” the man behind you interrupts. he wears glasses and stands in a three-piece suit, and you apologize before handing your card to takeuchi, who swipes it and tells you to go to the other side of the counter where osamu assembles all the food—by himself.

“ya haven’t called in months,” he says, handing someone their order before he continues, “why’s that?”

“i got busy with work, a big project came up and i honestly lost touch with like fifty people,” you nervously chuckle, “i’m sorry.”

“don’t worry, ’s an understandable excuse,” he chuckles, “ya wanna pop in tonight after closin’ time? i usually clean the kitchen every night by myself. would be nice ta have some company every now ‘n then.”

“only if i get food,” you joke. osamu then hands you a paper bag, a tumbler and a straw. he smiles, “'course, dinner’s on me.”

your day goes by pretty smoothly. your co-workers don’t bother you when you decline going to drink with them at the end of the day—which you’re honestly glad for, because sometimes they irritate you into coming with them, only for you to have the worst hangover the next day.

and now you’re walking inside onigiri miya for the second time today, eyes brightening up as soon as they fall on osamu. he waves you over to sit on a barstool as he wipes the counter, asking you if you want anything to drink. you decline, saying you’d rather not wake up with a hangover since your parents are visiting the next morning.

“tell me, how’s tokyo been treatin’ ya?”

“ugh,” you groan, “it was hell at first. college was so lonely, half the kids knew each other because they were high-school friends. and the ones that didn’t, made their own little cliques. i felt so out of place. but i found a friend or two by the end of my first year. so everything went well after that.”

“are ya workin’ now?” he raised an eyebrow as he slid you a plate of food. you thanked him before continuing, “well, yes. it’s my first year actually working. pretty good so far, i won’t lie. the pay isn’t half-bad, either.”

“well, ’m glad yer happy,” he says, “i opened this restaurant a couple of months ago, actually. just after we stopped talkin’. guess we both got busy during the same time.”

“i guess so.”

just then, something so unexpected happens that your heart jumps out of your chest and begins flopping on the floor like a fish out of water.

the bell jingles. you and osamu look towards the door. your eyes widen. your heart pounds in your ears.

“[y/n?]?”

“h-hi,atsumu.”

“he loses his voice when he yells too much,” you mumble. the memories of you taking care of him after stupid fights making you smile—it’s a sad smile, and osamu can’t help but feel sympathetic for you. the two of you sit on a bench at the park; you’re mindlessly staring ahead of you as osamu looks at you with glassy eyes. maybe you’re looking at the playing children. or at the sun slowly beginning to set. or the little particles becoming visible by the tyndall effect. you don’t know.

“oh, and he also ends up getting sick if he stays up past two in the morning,” you chuckle now, the time when you’d called him at midnight flashing before your eyes. your boyfriend’s voice was soft that night, as he listened to you ramble and then did the same thing himself. it was around two-thirty when the two of you ended the call and went to bed, and the next day, he passed out next to you in math class.

“and whenever he walks home with me, we usually end up getting strawberry icecream or cream puffs,” your eyes blink softly, to stop the tears from flowing. you’re successful in doing so, and your mind takes you back to the time when you forced the boy into the convenience store at the end of your neighborhood. he was talking about how he needs to get home or his mother will give osamu all the soup and the fatty tuna. he stayed with you anyway, eating ice-cream from a small cup in his hands as the two of you laughed about nothing and everything at the same time.

“and he doesn’t like that onigiri you make with chicken. he hates it but he says he doesn’t wanna hurt you,” a glum blush takes over your cheeks, “he cares about you a lot, even though he doesn’t show it. but you probably know that already.”

you remember atsumu complaining about the chicken tasting weird with the rice, but he’d continued eating the snack that osamu had dropped off anyway. when you’d asked why, he’d reply with, “because ‘samu made it. fer me.”

“ya know you don’t gotta to do this, right? he’s stupid, he’ll come around eventually,” osamu croaks, his voice cracking at the end. you give the grey-haired twin a melancholic smile in return, “don’t really have a choice anymore, 'samu. my dad got a job in tokyo, and i got into the uni there. i can’t stay even if i want to.”

osamu shakes his head, tears escaping his eyes like a dam finally breaking through. he’s had enough. he can’t have his best friend leave him, and he knows it’s selfish to think that way, but he couldn’t help himself. not only were you his best friend, you were also atsumu’s everything. and you couldn’t just leave without telling him, that would be unfair on many different levels.

“he’s an idiot for sayin’ all that shit to ya, but c'mon. you can’t just leave like this without tellin’ him,” osamu reasons, “’s not fair to him. just because he hurt you, doesn’t give ya the excuse ta just up and leave like this.”

“'samu,” you whisper, “even if i tell him, it’ll be all for nothing. you know my train is tomorrow.”

“you suck, ya know that?” the boy only looms down at his lap, his voice becoming quieter. you chuckle, closing the distance between the two of you as you rest your head on his shoulder, “i love ya, though. i’ll miss ya.”

“aww,” you giggle, “you finally admit it.”

“stupid ’tsumu loves ya more,” he mumbled under his breath, “yer like a sibling to me but yer the love of his life.”

“i know,” you whisper, “and i’m sorry.”

“both of you are so, sostupid.”

“i know,” you chuckle, “and i’m so, sosorry.”

and the sun finally goes down.

SUMMARY: Atsumu finds out his girlfriend works at a maid cafe. What he thinks about it is between you, him and God.

a/n: sometimes… a fic can just be making your own dreams come true!

You’re hiding something from him, Atsumu is sure of it.

He knows that it’s normal to not know everything about each other, especially when your relationship is as young as the freshly bloomed cherry blossoms lining the streets. There’s lots of time to discover each other, to peel back each other’s layers until you’re bare enough for love.

But Atsumu is curious.

From what he knows about you, you’re an overall stand-up person. He met you through a volunteer opportunity hosted by your university’s student council. It was at an orphanage, where you were both serving lunch for the kids to eat. Atsumu had been on rice duty, which he felt was an honor because he loves rice and a blessing because it put him right next to you, who was on meat duty. All the necessary elements of a meet cute, Atsumu thinks, until he opened his big fat mouth to joke about how come the student council isn’t slaving with us, eh? Only to find out you were in fact the Vice President.

Cue terrible first impression leading to you disliking him, while Atsumu pined over your cute ass. There’s a long story here about how Atsumu overcame it all, but it’s not the point he wants to focus on right now. All you need to know is that when you’re a sexy guy like him, all things can be overcome, and you too can get the cutest and sexiest girlfriend in the world. (Er, you can get the second cutest and sexiest girlfriend in the world. Atsumu is already dating the first one.)

Anyway - the point is, you’re a good, responsible person. Whatever you’re hiding surely cannot be bad. Atsumu hopes. And maybe you’re not even hiding anything? Atsumu only thinks you are, because he’s been trying to schedule a date with his girlfriend for two weeks now and your schedule is somehow all booked?

You have student council meetings usually, which is fine because Atsumu has volleyball practice anyway. He usually suggests meeting up on Friday evenings, or Saturday afternoons. People are usually free around then, you know? But you said you were scheduled to work at that time. In response, Atsumu said he’d be okay to pick you up after work and have a late night date. But still—you said you couldn’t make it.

Atsumu’s trying his best to be patient and accommodating and not at all clingy, but he has needs. If Atsumu were to illustrate his needs, it would be quite similar to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs pyramid, but to reach self-actualization, he needs time with you. God, Atsumu should be studied by psychologists. Imagine being this evolved.

The problem is, because he can’t get a date with you, he can’t do anything else. He’s trying so hard to pay attention to classes and do his best at practice, but how can he focus? He’s dateless. His hand hasn’t been properly held in two weeks. Sure, you meet up with him briefly for lunch and give him a kiss for dessert, but it’s not enough.

He’d complained about it to you, jokingly of course, but he thinks you saw through him. When he pouted about it, your eyes had softened and you’d taken his face in your hands and pressed a sweet kiss against his lips. I’ll try to get some time off, you had murmured, I promise.

All Atsumu could do is pout again, thinking about how terrible your manager is to be working you to the bone like this. Atsumu wishes he was one of those sexy billionaire CEOs people loved watching in dramas so he could just take care of you. God, that would be nice. You’d both just go on dates every day.

Ugh, fuck capitalism. Fuck your mean manager. Fuck your job, whatever it is—yeah, Atsumu doesn’t really know what you do for certain. You say you work at a cafe, but whenever Atsumu offers to visit, you always tell him that he can’t. You would be too distracting, you had said, flustered, and eagerly changed the subject.

And this is exactly why Atsumu thinks you’re hiding something.

.

.

.

Atsumu wouldn’t call himself nosy, but as he followed you to your job, yeah, he could see how this behavior could be described as nosy ass bitch.

All Atsumu wants to say is—listen. Not knowing was killing him. His mind was coming up with several different reasons as to why you were avoiding him slash not telling him where you worked. Some reasons were innocent, but some were bordering on crazy, like you being embarrassed about dating Atsumu and not wanting to tell anyone at your job, or something. Which he knows is ridiculous, because he’s a great catch, but he can’t help but doubt.

Hence, he needed to figure this out before he started getting truly insecure.

That’s how Atsumu justifies this: casually trailing after his girlfriend as she traverses the streets of Shinjuku with ease. After all this time, he can’t believe your job is close to the university. He’s hung out here routinely with some of his friends for a drink after a particularly brutal week or even to just celebrate birthdays. He’s gone shopping here for the latest trends more than enough times. Sure, it’s busy, he thinks as he weaves around both tourists and students, but there’s no way he hasn’t seen the café you supposedly work at, right?

But then you turn around a corner Atsumu’s never given his attention to, and it reveals a street that’s not as busy as the one they were just on, although there’s a long line pressed against the establishments lining the right side of the streets. They all seem to be queuing up for one place, a pink café of some sorts—

Oh.

A café that you’re walking into.

Atsumu stops a couple of meters away from the entrance and eyes the long line of men. They seem like they’re around the same age as him. Most of them were on their phones, and Atsumu wonders what this café has that makes them wait in line. There were dozens upon dozens of cafés in Shinjuku, and people were often too impatient to wait. This café you work at must be doing something really special to get these many people to wait.

He guesses he might as well wait in line and find out.

.

.

.

The line moved so slowly, Atsumu had actually caught up with both his Instagram feed and Twitter feed before he was anywhere even close to the entrance. He had ended up scrolling through Reddit, before giving in and putting headphones on and watching some lectures he missed because of a match instead.

Without realizing it, Atsumu actually arrives at the entrance and a hand waves within his line of vision to get his attention.

When he looks up, he’s stunned to see a bright young woman wearing… a maid outfit.

“Hi!” She chirps, her curled pigtails bouncing as she does. She holds a brown clipboard to her chest. “Welcome to Sweet Home Café! Is it just you today?”

Atsumu literally forgets why he’s at the café in the split second she asks that question, but he remembers eventually, blinking as he answers. “Oh, yeah. Just one.”

“And do you have a preference? Would you like a maid or a butler to serve you?” she asks.

“Do I have a preference of what?” Atsumu’s brows furrow. He doesn’t understand the question. To her credit, the woman in the maid outfit doesn’t even bat an eye at his confusion. She repeats the question again, but as she does, Atsumu turns his head and finally has the sense to look into the café.

And it hits him all at once: what kind of cafê it is, what services they provide, what kind of people frequent it, why you most likely didn’t want to tell him about your job—

He shouldn’t be here, he decides. It was wrong of him to follow his girlfriend. He opens his mouth to tell the server that he’s changed his mind, when he suddenly hears: “Atsumu?”

Atsumu turns and feels his heart stop in his literal chest.

What he sees first is legs. Long, long legs that seem to go on forever, clad in lace stockings that go all the way up to their toned thighs, where they’re held up by garters that go somewhere Atsumu’s eyes cannot follow.

He sees the skirt next, short and black, a beautiful contrast against that white lace he’d just been eyeing. It covers so little, which Atsumu doesn’t know whether to be thankful for or not. He can feel his mouth dry as his jaw hangs open.

And dear god, after that, his eyes land on the frilly white apron tied around the tiniest waist. With the way the skirt ballooned, it created a delicious hourglass figure that Atsumu wants to hold around his hands.

“Tsumu?”

This is where Atsumu’s eyes land on his girlfriend’s face. Your eyes sparkle, even though they hold a shade of worry. Your lashes are curled so beautifully, framing your eyes, making them look almost cartoonish—it should look weird on a real life person, but it only emphasizes how doll-like your eyes are. Your cheeks are flushed a peach pink, dotted with what looks like to be faux freckles. And your mouth. Your mouth. Tantalizingly full and unbearable glossy.

“Oh my god,” Atsumu hears you whisper faintly, “I think he’s broken—“

What does Atsumu in is what’s on your head. A headband. No—not just an headband—they were—they were—

You hold his hands, which have been shaking, Atsumu realizes. You tilt your head to the side, and all Atsumu can focus on is the cute little kitten ears on your head.

He focuses on it, perhaps, a little too much, because the next thing he feels is his vision blurring before it all fades to black.

.

.

.

You can’t hold back your tears.

You knew this would happen. You knew your boyfriend would find out eventually. You knew you should have been honest from the beginning, instead of having Atsumu find out this way.

And now—you hold back a sob, hurriedly burying your face in a handkerchief lest anyone sees your ugly crying face. Not that anyone was going to walk in. Your manager, Kiyoko, had taken one look at the expression on your face and immediately told you to go take your break early. She rubbed your back as she took you to the dressing room and said, I’ll make sure no one comes in. Take your time

You’re pretty sure you’ve been here for thirty minutes, which is already fifteen minutes longer than what capitalism would have allowed. But fuck it, you’re about to get broken up with, and you deserve a little moment to process it.

You’ll never forget the look on Atsumu’s face as he found out, the horror and shock right before he passed out. It had caused a commotion within the café, and you were so grateful you had fast reflexes or else Atsumu might have gotten a serious injury from hitting his head on something. Your coworkers helped carry him to the breakroom, where he immediately came to. You had asked him if he was okay, but he just blankly said he was fine and that you guys could talk when you were done working.

You were so anxious, you nodded immediately, saying that you were working the closing shift. You could talk after, when everyone had gone.

To your fraying nerves, it was also hours later. How did you think you were going to be able to work, knowing what awaited you after?

You sniff, wiping a tear carefully, even though you know your makeup is already ruined. You wonder if it would all be different if you had just been honest from the start. Would Atsumu have been more accepting? A small part of you knows that while your job could be seen as embarrassing or shameful, it’s still an honest way to earn money; you shouldn’t want to date a guy who would be disappointed in your current job of choice.

But you just like Atsumu so much. You’d had a crush on him for like, a whole year, and Atsumu didn’t even like you when you first met, thinking you were a slacker, along with the rest of the student council you were a part of. It was so devastating that you had avoided him for weeks after, and it was only when you hung out together due to having a mutual set of friends that you’d somehow charmed Atsumu. Enough for him to ask you out.

And now, you’re dating! Or at least, you were, until Atsumu breaks up with you tonight, you think sadly.

There are other fish in the sea. It’s true, and this is what you try to remember as you bravely stand up. You’ll have to retouch your makeup before you go out.

But as you do so, your heart beats rebelliously in your chest, saying, Atsumu’s the only one I want.

.

.

.

You somehow manage to get through a full shift without passing out aswell.

Working in the service industry can give you thick skin, but perhaps it’s taught you more than you realize. You didn’t know you could compartmentalize so well.

You feel dread settling like sick green bile over your skin, seeping through your pores until they’ve amalgamated into a disgusting heavy blob at the pit of your stomach. You think you might be nauseous. The feeling only grows worse with each customer that files out of the café, culminating with each of your coworkers leaving one by one to go home.

Sakura, a woman two years your senior and the person who had greeted your boyfriend at the entrance earlier, gives you a comforting hug. “If he breaks your heart, just say the word. I have connections. We’ll beat him up,” she promises.

It makes you smile, however brief.

You’ve just finished putting away the last of the dishes, when you hear a knock on the door. You freeze, unsure if you’re ready for the conversation that’s about to break your heart. Maybe if you don’t respond, Atsumu will go away and you can pretend all is well—

Knocks come again, and this time, they’re more insistent. “Y/N!” It’s definitely Atsumu knocking, no doubt. “Are you still here? It’s me.”

You press your hand against your chest. Breathe. Steel yourself. And then you straighten your back, square your shoulders and do your best to be brave.

You wipe your hands on a towel and realize you’re still wearing your maid uniform. God, you should have changed. You hurriedly take off the stupid headband, throwing it on the counter, as you rush to the open the door.

Your bravado is all false though; when you see Atsumu on the other side of the door, you feel all of it leave your body in a rush, away with the wind. You greet him meekly, in a way you’re sure to find pathetic later when you lay in bed all heartbroken.

Atsumu enters with his hands in his pockets, and all you can say is, “I hope you didn’t wait too long.”

“Hm?” Atsumu says, almost absent-mindedly. “Oh, it’s okay. I was just walking around.”

You frown, “For the past three hours?”

Atsumu flashes you a smile. “I sat down at some point too.”

You feel like you’re being pranked. You used to watch a show where they’d play a practical joke on someone, and they’d be filmed the whole time with the crew hiding somewhere close by. There’s something surreal here, something you can’t put a finger on but can’t quite say what.

Atsumu clears his throat before you can think about it any further. “So, are you done here? Are you ready to talk?”

Oh, you think. Here we go.

You nod tightly and almost close your eyes, already flinching at the impact of Atsumu’s next words—

“Well, okay, first of all, I’m sorry,” Atsumu says, and you feel like that’s an awful way to start a breakup. “I shouldn’t have followed you to your job of employment, that’s like, really rude of me, violation of privacy, etcetera, etcetera. I’m also sorry for barging in and passing out, which is,” Atsumu laughs, scratching the back of his head. “Really embarrassing? God, I don’t know why I did that. It must have been the shock. I know you must have kept this all a secret for a reason, and I’m sorry for betraying your trust like that. I really hope you can forgive me, and we can move past this—“

And you really cannot believe your ears. Was Atsumu apologizing…for everything?

Your jaw works as you process what you’ve just heard. Faintly, you say, “You’re sorry?”

Atsumu, who is still in the middle of what can now be called a rambling apology, pauses, and then says, “Yes? Should I not be?”

“You’re not angry?” you ask, voice coming out small. “Or disappointed? Or ashamed? You don’t think I should quit?”

“What?” Atsumu says, like those emotions have never occurred to him. “Fuck no. Why would I be any of those things?”

Your mouth trembles, your bottom lip sliding forward until it’s jutted out into a pout. “So. You’re not going to break up with me?”

“Woah, woah, woah,” Atsumu raises both his hands in alarm. “I do not want to break up. Do you want to break up?”

You shake your head with vehemence.

Atsumu visibly sighs in relief, “Okay, cool. Phew.” He animatedly wipes fake sweat off his forehead. “Great. Nice. Had me worried there for a second. So are we good? Wait—you thought I was going to break up with you?”

You sniff and feel a tear escape. A single one, which is, like, so dramatic, you know, but it just happened, okay? You hurriedly wipe it, as Atsumu hurriedly comes close, hands hovering over you, but not daring to touch.

You don’t understand anything that just happened, but you’re pretty sure you still have a boyfriend. Which is why you throw your arms around Atsumu’s waist and bury your face in the crook of his neck. “Hug me,” you wail.

Atsumu shushes you, one hand stroking the back of your head, with the other wrapping around your waist, pressing you closer. “It didn’t even cross my mind. Like, yeah, I was pretty shocked, but it’s not something to be ashamed of, you know? And I really like you a lot. Like, a lot, a lot. Which is plenty—“

You suddenly pull back and smack him on the chest. You feel incensed. “Then why didn’t you say anything before you left, idiot? Do you know how worried I was?”

“First of all, ow,” Atsumu winces, as he rubs the spot you hit. “Second, I was literally so embarrassed that I passed out and that I was probably embarrassing you in front of your co-workers. And you were working, I didn’t want to interrupt you more than I already have.”

Your heart swells up in size. “That,” you say as your pout deepens. “Is so sweet…”

Atsumu frowns. “Then why do you look so sad?”

“Because I’m overwhelmed,” you say. “And because I really, really like you right now. Like so much.”

Atsumu smiles, cooing. “Aww, you’re so cute. But you know what would be even cuter?”

“What?” you say.

Atsumu’s smile widens. “If you smile for me right now?”

The line surprises you, in its cheesiness, in its sweetness. So much so that it genuinely makes you laugh, putting a smile on your face, which, judging by your boyfriend’s expression, is what he’d intended.

“You’re so pretty when you laugh,” Atsumu says, looking at you with eyes so fond it could melt even the iciest of hearts. “I like how you never cover it up.”

“Like you always do?” you tease, still smiling.

“It’s a habit,” Atsumu says, off hand. “Had braces when I was a kid. Got teased so I always covered it up.”

You make a wounded noise. “Kids are so lame. You were probably still really cute.”

“That’s very nice of you to say,” Atsumu says, his hand reaching out to pat what must be a stray hair on the side of your head. And then he says, casually, like it just occurred to him. “Hey, are we the only ones here?”

“Yeah,” you nod, gesturing back towards the kitchen. “I just finished the last of my closing duties when you got here. Which reminds me, I need to get changed. I meant to,” you pause, suddenly sheepish. “But I was so worried about talking to you I forgot. If you can give me five minutes, I can get changed and then maybe we could get something to eat? Or—“

“—Or…” Atsumu echoes, his hand sliding down the side of your head to your neck, before fingering the frilly peter pan collar of your uniform. “You can keep this on.”

You snort, “I am not going to wear this outside of work. That’s so embarrassing—“

Atsumu makes a soft noise of disagreement. It’s absolutely teasing. “But you look so cute in it. You’re usually so covered up, you know?” Atsumu’s other hand slides from your waist down to suddenly cup your ass. He squeezes and you jolt, but it’s almost as if Atsumu expects it, because he just pulls you against him, erasing any space between the two of you. “In your cute sweaters and cardigans. But this. I never imagined you would wear a skirt this short.”

Your face flushes hotly as you defend yourself. “It’s just a uniform. And I’m a little taller than the average worker here, so the skirt ended up being so short! It’s not my choice—“

“So it’s not for your customers,” Atsumu concludes, his voice sympathetic and mocking at the same time. His fingers skim the edge of your skirt, lightly grazing the skin on the back of your thighs. You shiver as goosebumps rise on your skin. “That’s good,” Atsumu continues. “Because I would be really jealous if you were hiding your long legs from me and showing off your thighs covered in lace to all those men. And there were so many men, Y/N. Were they all here for you?”

Embarrassment floods through you, through the same veins where pride is running too. You like the general idea of being popular at the café, especially as someone who likes attention. It’s just not all positive attention. Some men were too brave; forward was perhaps the polite word to describe them, in both the physical and metaphorical sense. You certainly didn’t want to encourage any of them by wearing a shorter skirt. But the thought of Atsumu, heated at the thought of other men fawning over you, pleases you immensely, so much so you forget your embarrassment.

You end up playing it coy. “I’m just doing my job. And I disagree, Tsumu. I don’t hide my legs from you.”

“Okay, then,” Atsumu smiles, sharp, and it feels like you went exactly where Atsumu wanted you to go. “Show them off to me right now.”

“Here?” you squeak.

“Where else?” Atsumu challenges. “Outside? Do you want others to see you get fucked, baby?”

You gasp, feeling like you’ve been struck by lightning at the words. You think you’re meant to further protest, no, Atsumu, I mean, at home, at your apartment—but all thoughts leave your mind. All that remains is what you end up blurting out: “You’re going to fuck me?”

Atsumu leans close and pulls you by the ass against the growing tent in his pants. You close your eyes, overwhelmed by the feeling of Atsumu’s physical want, of feeling Atsumu brush your noses together before nosing his way to your neck. Atsumu inhales, moaning. “If you’re good and pull your skirt up, I will.”

You whimper and feel his hard cock with your own hand through his pants. “How are you so hard already?”

“That’s just what you do to me,” Atsumu says, pulling away from your neck, squeezing your ass one more time before slapping it and letting go. You almost whine at the loss of contact, but the look on Atsumu’s face tells you, behave. “Will you be a good girl?”

You bite your lip. Nod. And then with shaking hands, you grab your skirt and pull it up, slowly revealing the garter straps holding up the lacy part of your stockings.

Atsumu visibly exhales when you stop and orders, “Higher. I want to see everything.”

“But Tsumu—“

“Why are you so shy?” Atsumu asks, raising a brow. “It’s nothing I haven’t seen before. Or is it something new?”

You squirm under his knowing gaze. He probably knew the moment he had his hands on your ass. You try to explain. “It’s part of the uniform—“

“That wasn’t my question.”

Knowing you’ve been cornered, you squeeze your eyes shut and raise your skirt until everything is showing.

Air kisses every exposed part of your body. The top of your thighs, the uncovered part of your stomach. Even the parts that were covered felt cold.

The ensuing silence is deafening. You wish he would say something. Anything.

You open your eyes and gasp when you see Atsumu on his knees. “Tsumu!”

“I’m so lucky,” Atsumu murmurs, almost to himself. He looks up and meets your eyes. “Do you like wearing this, hm? Lingerie?”

“I—“ you try, but Atsumu looks as if he was caught in a daze, hypnotized by the sight of your pussy, thinly veiled in lace panties. You swallow his pride and admit. “It makes me feel good.”

For your honesty, Atsumu presses a kiss to the meat of your left thigh. He nuzzles his face against it, and you shiver when you feel the caress of his breath against your skin. “Does it make you feel pretty?”

“Very pretty,” you sigh out as Atsumu presses another kiss, this one open mouthed, his tongue licking wet strips of heat all over.

He presses further, nosing his way in between your thighs, kissing every bit of skin he can get to. You try to help him by opening your legs, but they feel shaky. Considering how you’re doing this in the middle of the cafe, you’ve got nothing to hold onto to steady yourself.

“Tsumu,” you bite out, switching to hold your skirt in just one fist, so that you can at least grasp onto his hair. “Tsumu—“

“Yeah?” Atsumu hums from right in between your legs, mouth at the inner juncture of your hip and thigh. You can feel the vibrations of his voice going right to your pussy. If you weren’t already sensitive before, you were definitely sensitive now.

God, you need him to touch you, to put his good, pouting mouth to use. And maybe his long fingers too—

You gasp out loud, when you feel teeth bite the meat of your thigh. “Atsumu!” you look down to see him with heavy lidded eyes and his mouth open, tongue in the process of licking the red bite on his skin. That was definitely going to leave a mark.

Atsumu knows it too, with the way his lips slowly grow into a smirk. Maybe that was his intention in the first place. “You keep calling my name, Princess. Is there something you want to say?” says the cat who looks like they got the cream of the crop; if Atsumu can just eat you out already, then he might actually have it.

“Could you,” you begin, putting slight pressure against Atsumu’s head to press his mouth against your clothed cunt. He resists and seems further amused by your growing desperation. “Tsu—mu,” you shudder, your grip tightening on his hair, when he suddenly cups your heat. You choke up, the jolt of pleasure hitting you like lightning, “Please. Please—“

“Please stop?” Atsumu teases, and you immediately shake your head, horror in your eyes. For your strong reaction, Atsumu rewards you with a kiss against your pussy. The heat of it, the knowledge of how it would have felt if you were bare—these things drive you mad, and the sight of Atsumu’s mouth, his thick, plump lips that look like they were made for eating pussy—god, you wish he could just stop teasing you already.

“Eat me out,” you say, voice faint, the size of your want heavy and breathless. Atsumu blinks innocently, and his fingers agonizingly slip the tiniest bit between lace and your bare skin.

“Pardon?” Atsumu says, like the bastard that he is. “Could you repeat that?”

“Atsumu!” You will literally die if he drags it out any longer. “Just,” you cover your face, the words coming out of you in an embarrassed tumble of words. “Please—just eat me out. Please.”

Atsumu makes a wounded sound. “Hmph. Was that so hard?”

You have half a mind to leave him here on the floor to finger yourself and cum on your own terms, but Atsumu suddenly slides his hands up to your hips, stopping you from making any moves. “Relax, stop acting like you’re being edged—“

“What would you know about edging?” you say miserably, earning a pinch. “Ow,” You pout.

Atsumu huffs as he unhooks the garter straps. “I feel like I’ve been edged this entire time. The thought of you wearing this outfit… do you know how much self-control I had to have to wait until your shift was over?”

The thought of Atsumu walking around the streets of Shinjuku, thinking about fucking you in your maid uniform, is so pleasing, you have to bite your lip to stop from smiling.

“Oh,” Atsumu says with interest, finger wrapping around the white garter strap. “Do you like that? The thought of your boyfriend suffering? Driven insane at the thought of you?” Atsumu pouts, tugging down the garter. “That’s a little mean, baby.”

“I am not—“

Atsumu pulls down your panties and you’re made to swallow whatever words you meant to say. You obediently step out of them and watch as Atsumu pockets them in his jeans. You release a soft breath at your bare pussy now suddenly so close to his mouth. Atsumu holds you, holds your stare, before giving you a coquettish lick.

It was brief, wet—a taste, really. Atsumu licks his lips, like he can’t wait to have more, moving slowly (as if you need any more prep) and then kisses his way down like he has all the time in the world.

Patience is a virtue, and Atsumu is intent on reminding you of it. The essence of a good orgasm is when you’re made to work for it.

Andgod, he’s making you work for it. He licks a long stripe from top to bottom, nose nudging against your aching clit, before finally plunging his tongue straight where you’ve been aching for him. He licks slowly, tongue swirling around your hole as you feel yourself getting wetter. You try very hard to stay still, to not fuck against his mouth, knowing full well Atsumu would leave you hanging if you step out of line.

He pulls off and his lips are evidently slick, even in the darkness of the cafe. “You’re so quiet. So behaved. Not even going to try to pull on my hair?”

You shake your head. “I don’t want you to stop.”

Atsumu hums, pleased, his thumb pressing briefly against your clit that it takes your breath away. The feeling, so electric. “My good girl. I taught you well, didn’t I?”

You nod, not caring how much of a fool you are for a man’s hands and mouth.

“Keep being good, and someday, I’ll let you ride my face too,” Atsumu promises. “Now, make a little noise for me. I want to hear you moan. Do you know how good girls moan?”

You shake your head.

“I’ll show you,” Atsumu smiles, before diving back in. His tongue moves all the way in until his nose nudges against your clit again, lips giving pressure at just the right spots. You moan loud, the sound pulled out of you, and it echoes in the dark empty cafe. Atsumu is equally cruel and good for doing this, for not letting you hold onto anything but the sanity of your skirt, for doing this in your place of work. My god, you just realized the shutters of the windows weren’t down.

This realization somehow doubles the pleasure. It surprises you, the things you didn’t even know you would be into. It’s raining outside and dark inside, so you doubt you would be seen, but just the thought of it sends pleasure down your spine.

You can barely think, not with the way Atsumu keeps tonguing your gummy walls. You lose yourself to the sensation of pleasure, of wanting more of it, of pleasure, and of more and more and more—

“Tsumu,” you warn, almost squirming away. You’re a hair away from coming. You try to pull Atsumu off but to no avail. “Tsumu, stop, I’m going to come—“

Atsumu pulls off only to say. “And I’m hungry, baby. Let me eat.”

And starts licking more fervently, hitting all your sweet spots, the pressure building and building until one lick, two licks, three licks— and finally, his tongue sends you so deliciously over the edge.

Shivers run down your spine as you ride out your high, Atsumu’s tongue not slowing down even a beat as he swallows all your slick like a champ.

You let yourself fall to your knees and take Atsumu’s cheeks in your hands to kiss him fully on the mouth. You never once thought you’d like the taste of your own cum. You feel a little nasty for it, but with the way Atsumu’s tongue enthusiastically meets yours, you think he doesn’t mind it at all.

You pull away, if only to catch your breath, something Atsumu doesn’t seem to need. He moves on to your neck, kissing, sucking marks light enough to heal by tomorrow. His hand reaches up to unbutton the first row of buttons on your top. It’s hard to see in the dark, and it leads to Atsumu’s frustration rising to an impatient peak. He ends up tearing the buttons off, and you gasps, “This is my uniform—“

“I’ll pay to get it fixed,” Atsumu promises with a sigh as his hand makes contact with your chest. “God, if you didn’t look so good in this, I would have had you naked by now. I want to see your body. I want my mouth all over you. I want to see goosebumps rise all on your skin. I want to tease your nipples until they’re all hard in my mouth. And your fucking legs, I want to take my time kissing them all day, and I wouldn’t stop, not even if you begged—“

You squirm under his hands, squeezing your legs like a bitch in heat. As if you didn’t just come. Your hole clenches on instinct, around nothing—you whimper, “Will you?”

Atsumu shakes his head. “Maybe next time, sweetheart. I’m think I’m just dying to fuck you today.”

You breathe; the promise has you feeling hot. You run your hand through strands of your hair, wondering which position Atsumu wants you in today.

“Can you stand?”

Your heart does a little swoop, a little tumble, before landing into a tizzy right in your ribcage. You shrug as he stands up and extends a hand towards you. “I’ll try.”

You take it, and Atsumu does his part, pulling you up with the light ease of a man who definitely goes to the gym every day. You stand, but your legs are predictably loose. You crash right into his chest, as he holds you steady by the waist.

You look up into your boyfriend’s eyes, and all you can think is, handsome

Atsumu cups your cheek. “Hi.”

“Hi,” you say back, just as softly. You close your eyes, leaning up to kiss him, and smile when he meets you halfway. When you pull apart, you open your eyes.

Atsumu gestures at the nearest table. “Go stand in front of the table,” he says. “You can hold yourself up on it.”

You, fuck-strucked, follow without asking any questions. You stand in front of it, placing both of your hands on the table, before sticking your ass out. You turn around to look and see Atsumu taking off his jacket, his thin shirt stretching over his defined chest. God, you think. He is so hot.

You wait until Atsumu is looking before you ask. “Just like this?”

Atsumu’s eyes darken—you know you can be so oblivious at times, but you’re well aware of how you look right now. Hair disheveled, blush-struck, and wearing a dress that’s partly torn. You look like you’re begging to be fucked.

“Yeah,” Atsumu’s eyes are making their way down to your legs. You shiver in anticipation when he steps closer, and you sigh sweetly when Atsumu presses his body against yours. “Just like this.” Atsumu’s hand caresses your thigh, making its way inward, fingers lightly sweeping against your sensitive cunt. “You’re so sexy, you know that?”

You nearly shake your head. You must be, to have Atsumu so eager for you, but you’ve rarely heard it from anyone. You’re good at making other people laugh while acting silly or saying something funny. You’re good at being cute, and you can admit to being exceptionally charming. But sexy is not a word that’s used to describe you often, and you can’t hide how good it makes you feel, to hear your boyfriend say it.

“Your body is amazing,” Atsumu praises, his hands sliding up to your waist “I can’t believe anyone can have a waist this small and have hips that just flare out like this.” Against your ear, he whispers, “You already know how I feel about your legs, but you know my favorite is your ass, right?”

You tense when you feel Atsumu steady your hip with one hand. He soothes you immediately. “Shh, just relax, baby.” Then you feel it—Atsumu’s hand slowly dipping lower, until his fingers are circling your hole. His hand is cold, but you forget it soon enough when he slides a finger in. He goes slow, and you do your best to relax, breathing steadily in and out. “So tight,” Atsumu says. “It’s been a while since we’ve done this, huh?”

“I’m sorry,” you say, closing your eyes, letting Atsumu work his finger in and out until you’re used to the stretch. “I’ve really been so busy with this job. There really hasn’t been any time for us to—ohhh—“

Atsumu adds another finger, and you feel the stretch much more intensely now, hissing when he scissors them. “Good?” Atsumu asks, kissing your ear. “Okay, sweetheart?”

“Go faster?” you pant out, pushing back to chase the length of Atsumu’s fingers back into your dripping hole.

“So greedy,” Atsumu chuckles, the sound deep. Greedy has never sounded so good, and with the way Atsumu fucks his fingers faster, harder, inside you, you can’t find any reason to think it isn’t actually praise. “You want another one?”

Yes, you think but say something else instead. “Want your cock instead.”

“Not yet,” Atsumu says, adding another finger instead. This time, when he presses in, he curls his fingers just so, pulling back and doing it again and again until his fingers rub against the perfect spot.

You keen when he hits it, causing you to almost fall forward, barely saved by your own arms holding you up. You can barely last, not with the way Atsumu’s hitting against your sweet spot—you end up with your cheek pressed against the hardwood of the table, moaning high-pitched and loud.

You think you can come again, just like this. It wouldn’t be the first time. Atsumu’s good at pulling orgasms out of you, taking advantage of your fast recovery period. You’re both eager and terrified of the day he decides to find out exactly how many orgasms he can wring out of you.

“Tsumu,” you call out. “I think, again—“

You’re punished for it. Atsumu takes his fingers out suddenly, leaving you so, so empty. You whine, tears growing in your eyes. “Atsumu, please—“

You’re shushed, your ass patted. “You said you wanted cock, and now that I’m giving it to you, you’re whining. It’s up to you, baby. How do you want to come? On fingers or cock?”

You can’t believe he’s asking. As if it’s a choice. This man drives you crazy. “Cock,” you choke out. “I want your cock. Atsumu, please. Please—“

You hear him unbuckling his belt, and god, you love it when you fuck facing each other, because of all things, you’re a goddamn romantic who dies for eye contact. But this, getting taken from behind, you think you could be convinced. Your imagination runs wild at not being able to see what he’s doing. Is his hair sticking to his forehead? Are his cheeks flushed, red or pink? Is he pulling his cock out right now? Is he hard? Is he stroking himself, is he slicking himself up, all nice and wet, just so he can slide right in? God, you feel crazy. You’ve never been this cock-hungry ever, but it’s been a while since you’ve seen your boyfriend’s dick.

Something blunt presses against your hole, and you force yourself to exhale. You press your sweat-slicked forehead against the wood and readies yourself to take it.

“Easy now,” Atsumu says, a strain in his voice. You don’t know how he can stave his own orgasm off like this. He’s so strong. Atsumu pushes in, his cock sliding in slowly, controlled, until he bottoms out. Your pulse is as fast as a hummingbird, right underneath your skin, and your breath is coming out in short measures.

“Full,” you breathe, taking a moment to adjust. You feel Atsumu wait, petting the skin of your hip as he does so, until you speak. “Move.”

Atsumu does as he’s told, moving in a slowly steady pace. You can hear him let out a breath too, more of a ragged moan than anything. You like to hear it, your boyfriend slowly losing himself in your wet heat. You reach back, pulling your skirt all the way up so that he has a clear view of it.

“Fuck,” Atsumu exclaims, punctuating it with a harder thrust. He slaps your ass as he speeds up. “God, baby, the way you suck me in. Perfect, perfect. You were made for me, weren’t you?”

“Yes, yes!” you mewl, spreading your legs wider, opening yourself further so he can fill you completely. “I’m yours Tsumu, only yours—“

A sudden shout echoes from the distance, and your eyes widen. Atsumu stops, mid-fuck, pausing too, to see where the noise came from. You lift your head, and through the window, you can see two people running to take cover under the awning of the café. Two men, it looks like, hiding from the rain.

Your heart stops in your chest when one of them turns to look inside the café, but the lack of light seems to save both of you because they just turn back to look towards the rain. They seem to be talking, but the rain mutes whatever words they say.

Thank god, you think and attempt to stand up—when Atsumu’s hand pushes you back down. Atsumu drapes himself over your back, his cock still inside you. “Where do you think you’re going?” he whispers.

Your heart seems to start beating again right here, pounding hard against your chest as you realize what he wants to do. “You want to keep going?”

“Might as well, right?” Atsumu teases, grinding his hips against yours. Your eyes flutter shut at the sensation. Atsumu seems to envelop you entirely, his hands intertwining with yours. “It doesn’t look like they can see us. And I still haven’t cum yet. Don’t be selfish.”

“I’m not,” you deny in a loud whisper. “What if they hear us? Or actually see us? They’re right there!”

“They won’t notice as long as you’re quiet,” Atsumu assures. “Unless… you want them to notice. Do you want to get caught with my cock in you? Would you like that?”

You make a noise of denial, but Atsumu continues on, moving his hips, driving his cock in and out of your puckering hole. “It does sound nice, doesn’t it? I bet you get hit on all the time, pretty as you are. Do you tell them you have a boyfriend already? You’re such a good girl to me, you probably do. But I bet they all still want you anyway. They see your gorgeous face and your long legs, and go home to their sad beds wishing they had you under them.”

You try to shake your head, but Atsumu cuts you off, beginning to pound harder. The slap of skin against skin sounds so loud, and you can’t help but keep your eyes trained on the two people waiting under the rain outside, praying they don’t look, that they they don’t see, and yet, the thought of being caught makes a thrill run through you, makes heat blossom beautifully in your gut.

“You know I’m right,” Atsumu says, heated. “I could see it. How much they want you. I bet they dream of pushing you down on the table like this, hiking your skirt up and sticking their cock in every hole you have. Would you let them cum inside you, baby? Would you let them fill you up?”

He’s fucking you so deep, you can’t think. Can’t think beyond the cock driving into you over and over again. You can only say, “Only you. I only want you, just you—“ while babbling Atsumu’s name again and again until the words lose meaning.

“That’s right,” Atsumu pants, his breath coming out harsh against your ear. “Everyone else can dream of you like this, but only I get to touch you like this. Only I get to have you. You’re only good for me, right?”

“Yes, yes!” You cry out, dizzy for an orgasm. “Tsumu, touch me, touch me—“

“I got you, baby,” Atsumu reaches under and his fingers find your clit, rubbing with just the right pressure. You gasp out in absolute pleasure—the combination of his cock abusing your hole, and his fingers on your bundle of nerves has you seeing stars.

It’s Atsumu’s voice that does you in, though, a strangled order that’s more desperate than anything. “Cum.”

You come all around his cock until you’ve got nothing else to give.

Atsumu fucks you through it, chasing his own orgasm viciously before pulling out and coming all over your ass.

It’s warm.

Atsumu pulls himself up and collapses beside you. It takes a couple moments to catch your breaths. You catch each other’s eyes as you do so, and both of you reach for each other, lips meeting in a languid kiss that’s the exact opposite of the frenzied state you were just in.

Atsumu pulls away first, and you give him a couple more peck before finally getting up.

You’re the first to speak. “That was—“

Atsumu nods, exhaling, “Yeah, that was… really hot.” He wipes his hand on the table, before pushing himself up, tucking his cock back in his pants and buckling his belt again.

You belatedly realize that Atsumu didn’t even take his clothes off, minus his jacket. In comparison, you must look like a mess. Reality starts setting in. You’ll have to disinfect the table, re-mop the floors, and oh god—you whip your head to the window, only to find nobody there. “Oh no,” you say, voice faint, “Do you think—“

“Stop thinking,” Atsumu comforts you, brushing your hair back to neatness with his clean hand. “They probably went home. And if they saw anything, what would they say? That they stayed and watched? More embarrassing for them.”

You frown but let it go. You don’t even know where to start. You feel so dazed, so out of it.

“Sweetheart?” Atsumu tilts his head to the side, brows furrowing in worry. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah,” you reassure, “Just—help me? Your cum is on my ass and on the floor and you need to give me back my underwear.”

Atsumu smiles innocently. “I’ll help. But I keep the underwear.”

“Tsumu!” You say, appalled. “I can’t go home without underwear. I have to take the subway.”

Atsumu sticks his hand in his pocket, where you know your panties are. “I’ll pay for your taxi home. Y/N, please. Don’t you want me to have something to remember this by?”

You narrow your eyes, “You are so sick—“

Atsumu laughs, already knowing you’re going to give in. He pulls you into a hug that melts whatever annoyance he’d caused and makes good on his word to help you clean.

Just as you finished changing out of your uniform, something dawns on you. “Hey,” you call out to Atsumu who’s scrolling through his phone as he waits for you. “Where did you go after you passed out earlier? You said you wandered around, did you not just go home?”

Atsumu looks caught. He scratches the back of his neck, looking sheepish as he confesses. “I didn’t go home.”

“Huh?” you say, dumbly. “But I still had three hours left in my shift. Were you just waiting around the area until I was done?”

“I would have lost it if I went home,” Atsumu says, hushed, fiddling with his phone. “I needed to be around people so I wouldn’t have a mental breakdown over your maid outfit.”

“So….” you trail off as you put it all together. “Are you telling me… you walked around Shinjuku on the verge of a mental breakdown, but because you knew you still wanted to fuck me… you refused to go home?”

Atsumu smiles, throwing a peace sign up trying to look cute, but says nothing else.

You stare at him for a good moment, before shaking your head. “You are so lucky you’re hot. I thought you were sooo cool before. I can’t believe I had a crush on you for so long—“

“Huh?” Now it was Atsumu’s turn to look at you, dumbfounded. You panic, realizing you said something you shouldn’t have. “I mean—I am kind of hungry. You didn’t have dinner, I didn’t have dinner. We should go!”

And then immediately head to the door and out into the world, leaving Atsumu to call out after you. “Y/N, wait! What do you mean you had a crush on me! You—“

“Is this allowed?” Sakura whispers to Hira, who was busy figuring out where to seat their customers. She was pointing at their new regular customer, a bastard (her words) with blond hair who only ordered iced americanos and monopolized their star employee’s time.

Hira shrugs. “As long as he’s not driving customers away, I do not care. I don’t think Kiyoko cares either. To her, it’s more money.”

Sakura squints at the guy, who was alternating between staring at you and giving your other regular customers the stink eye. She supposes it’s good. There was less harassment these days, like having a rabid guard dog that barked selectively at threats. So well-trained.

Oh well, she shrugs. She supposes it’s none of her business. All that matters is she’s getting paid. Besides, it’s not like they’re doing anything too weird.

The kitchen calls out an iced americano, and Sakura sighs, calling you over.

“Yes!” you come over, brightly. “What is it?”

Sakura smiles, “Your boyfriend’s order is here. Go take it, or else he’ll pout like last time when I gave it to him.”

Your lips pinch, like the number three. You look like you’re trying really hard not to look pleased by it. Sakura rolls her eyes, pushing you gently towards your boyfriend. “Sickening. Go, before I puke.”

You laugh and happily go over to where Atsumu was busy doing homework.

“Hi,” you announce yourself.

Atsumu looks up and pouts. “That’s not my order.”

You frown, “But this is your order. This is the kitten special. Iced Americano delivered by your kitten.”

Atsumu shakes his head, like he’s the expert on the cafe’s specials. “No,” he corrects. “Something is missing.”

“What?” You ask.

Atsumu pulls something out from his bag and presents it like a ring, “This! Your kitten ears headband—Baby, wait, please come back. Just wear the ears, please—”

a/n: this originally had a different plot. it was also originally sfw LOL but i went crazy during finals and then decided i needed to write something self indulgent… so here we are!!! i hope you enjoyed it :’)

02.COOKIE BARGAIN.

PREV. | MAIN MENU|NEXT.

“Two heart-shaped cookies for what?!” he exclaimed, causing a few customers to turn around. He gave them an apologetic smile and centered his focus on the board again. “That is so cheap… No shit they are stealing our customers.”

Atsumu wandered around the entrance, unsure of wanting to go inside. He glanced at the two women sitting beside him; were their hearts fixed? Did the ‘magic formula’ work?

Just thinking about it made him roll his eyes. He wouldn’t judge them for thinking that, yet he couldn’t help but laugh about that internally —if only that were true, Atsumu would be their best customer, though. A broken heart is not easy to fix, so if they told him that this could certainly help, he wouldn’t doubt it twice.

“Are you going inside, boy?” asked a voice next to him. “I bet it’s your first time here. You don’t need to be scared, though! We are all in this together.”

Atsumu looked beside him, only to find a welcoming and kind smile. He tried smiling back, but he didn’t. Their eyes analyzed him, piercing into his chest. Maybe they could see his broken heart, or perhaps they will invite him to a coffee inside —not that Atsumu wanted that or anything, of course.

Must be one of their brain-washed customers.

“Oh, no. Just looking at the insane prices. I’m sure they might lose tons of money because of it,” Atsumu answered, and the person beside him narrowed their eyes. “Well, that and the fact that they have a pretty weird name.”

The strange person sighed. They were used to these types of people around the shop: as ignorants didn’t believe or understand the main purpose of the shop, they criticized it.

“I’m not sure of what you mean, Sir.,” they replied. Atsumu looked at them, wondering why the term “Sir.” bothered him coming from this particular person.

“I mean… ‘Broken Hearts Society’?” he explained. “What kind of name for a coffee shop is that?’”

“The kind that’s kicking Onigiri Miya’s ass, probably,” they replied and walked to the door. “I’m (L/N), (Y/N), by the way. The owner of this coffee shop with a ‘pretty weird name’.”

Shit.

  • RANDOM!

— Noya warned (Y/N) when he saw Atsumu crossing the street.

— Osamu feared that his twin brother would do something like that.

— Atsumu, before the ‘big reveal’, had thought about asking (Y/N) to join him to eat Onigiri together.
