Scare-Free Movies for Halloween

I’m in the same camp as a lot of people, I think, in that I love Halloween, but I’m not as big a fan of being scared. Sometimes I want all the treats without the tricks. In the interest of discovering the best and worst Halloween movies, I’ve watched a whole bunch of non-scary movies and rated them by both Halloween spirit and quality. In no particular order, here they are!

1. Kiki’s Delivery…

This is amazing! Props to Viperior and the Sanctum of Rall community for putting this together. Happy post-Halloween, guildies and friends!

Edited this part for my avatar. I like this face :3

(Only for myself.)

I was really impatient with this one! Like really! This might be looking like a regular romantic fanart, but!

Earlier friendship!

This piece is illustrating shows how I see their previous part of whole dynamic. The friendship. I mean for both of them it was such, but Sally had an extra feeling already these days. They had some things in common, some things were introduced. I think Jack is extremely old actually so he remembers a lot from history (not because he witnessed it but because he read a lot, like Sally (her life is much shorter tho)) or other interesting theory (magic of flame, pumpkins, only surface of art of scaring) etc. And Sally would tell a lot about plants and potions (and how to sew up something and related life hacks) etc.

Relationship is a basis. Two people learn about each other, building all the best altruistic details and developing feelings. Later this might morph into something bigger and stronger (like becoming very special to each other and being ready to spend a life together). Differently, but I believe something like this was happening. Sally had it all much earlier, and Jack was probably too fixated on himself and his problems. Seems like only after half-death his vision cleared. Something like this.

And lesser headcanons: postal bat and Jack having this flycatcher plant for some period of time.

I love them qmq

Who’s the star of the duck version of Nightmare Before Christmas?

Quack Skellington.
