This is Thong Suk aka Jungle Boy. He is one of the youngest elephants at the Elephant Nature Park in Chaing Mai province in Thailand. While he was still a baby working in tourist trekking camps he stepped on a trap that seriously damaged his foot and lower leg. He was recused by elephant nature park and now spends his days playing with the other young elephants. If you are going to Thailand please educate yourself as to how the elephants in tourist trekking camps are treated and then go to http://www.elephantnaturepark.org

Today I decided to take a drive over to the Garden of the Gods. I took about 100 photos from various vantage points. This is a fairly classic shot of Pikes Peak and the Kissing Camels. I also shot this set at f/8 for the weekend challenge at www.froknowsphoto.com - I hope you like it!
