Woke up this morning feeling good (unfortunately that translates into unhealthy body image as “small”). I’m coming up on four years of this life style. I haven’t been 100% keto because well… Onion rings are life but I’m 80% keto and 100% low carb.
I went and had my A1C done last week and honestly I was expecting it to be in the 6’s because to summarise 2019 I would call it my “ohfuckit” year. But it was 5.2%

Learn Jacket. Tough book to get through. #circleofbookishfriends
I buddy read Carrion Comfort last year at Christmas with my girls @jobis89 and @ab_reads and if I didn’t have them to pull me through this one, I probably would have quit.
Not only is this book long and a bit sluggish, it’s so heavy and dark. It was hard to look forward to getting snuggled up in bed to read more acts of depraved humanity.
There were a few scenes (Abbie was clearly ahead of me) where the girls were waiting for me to read it because they knew I’d be overwhelmed.
Overall, this book is iconic horror and should be read-just bring your squad to lean on!

#physiqueupdate FINALLY happy with some #progress I’ve seen. Last few weeks have been tough with staying on track with my #macros & #training BUT pushing through. My favorite thing in the world is training and that feeling you get when you push past what you THINK you are capable of, but lately it hasn’t been as fun. Kind of blah even. To keep my #motivation up I’ve been changing my workouts and doing more total body & conditioning stuff which I think has helped. ALSO ➡️ I just started using @lipoxyderm which is a topical lotion that can help tighten loose skin & help with water retention. I’ve only used it on my stomach for one week (apply twice a day) and I do think it has been helping. Now I don’t think there is any magical pill or potion…..I’m still on a pretty strict diet and train 6x a week! Good days & bad days……we all have them, especially those who are on their own #fitjourney either in a #bikiniprep or a #fatloss / #muscle building program. The good days can be absolutely AMAZING and you feel on top of the world like you can handle anything that comes your way but for some (me today) when a BAD day hits…..I just second guess everything. ✔️ Scale went up (I know not to gage complete #progress with that) ✔️ I don’t like what I see in the mirror ✔️have been experiencing really low energy ✔️ always hungry and it just hit me this morning that I probs will never looks like a #bikinicompetitor It’s not my end all, be all BUT I just can’t get as #lean and it’s soooo frustrating. I won’t give up….that’s not in me so now onto some #fastedcardio to start my day!
