Today I’ll bring you the animated version of my Potter family portrait u3u it’s one of my favorite fanart I’ve did for this fandom so I wanted to make it even prettier ♥
My first Potter family artwork! Yay! I was eager to try to draw them all together and I chose a cozy composition of something I bet it would had happened with them ♥ being such a big Quidditch Nerd and enthusiast I bet James would had read tons of stories like that to little Harry! I wish we had more opportunities to learn more about James and Lily and the little time they could spend with Harry… but I guess we have to settle with fan content, so here’s my take on this little adorable family ♥
Let me start off with, perhaps the third time is the charm? I say this because when I look back over fics I’ve shared for Sharing Sunday, this will be the third time I share a fic by this writer. Then again, they are quite good at this, I enjoy reading their work a great deal, and when I look at my list of potential Sunday Sharing items, I do seem to be making an effort to diversify.
But this one does hold a special spot in my art heart. After reading another fic with the same general meta concept, I took on a very similar head canon. The Marauder’s Generation is when the first three of these films saw the silver screen, and as I discovered while writing Proposals, the generation we came to love at Hogwarts saw the release of the next three. And Ginny and Harry’s children see the continuation of the Saga. Which, coincidentally (probably not, as @matrixaffiliate chooses titles very carefully) is the title of today’s sharing.
Even the heroes need a heroic story to enjoy. Inspired by a sign my husband and I bought for our children’s rooms: “I’m a Jedi, like my father before me. Unless I get my Hogwarts letter like my mom.” Post-Deathly Hallows Harry/Ginny fluff story. One-shot. I own nothing.
