#public transportation

LIVE

cloverture:

honestly I know enough has been said about those posts that end with the entire bus applauding someone, but like it’s just SO unbelievable?? in my experience if anything of note at all happens on public transport we all just kind of quietly look around at each other with this expression

Spotted in Athens: My county commissioner reading the new Elephant 6 book while riding the bus :}

ON VIEW AT MINNEAPOLIS CENTRAL LIBRARY

Transit Equity Through History

Metro Transit is hosting a Transit Equity through History exhibit at the Minneapolis Central Library during the month of March.

The exhibit shares a timeline of major events in Twin Cities’ transit history and goes into detail about how focusing on equity has become more and more important for the agency since it became public, in 1970.

The exhibit is on view in the first floor atrium display case and can be viewed anytime during the library’s open hours.

Best way to get around the city? Subway!

All you are going to need is a T-money card and an app.

I’ve tried several apps over the course of my life in Seoul, the best one at the moment is KakaoMetro. I think it’s the best combo between interface design and functionality!

Best maps: KakaoMap and NAVER map.

Weekend visit to my girlfriend to get my mind off the impending end of semester and thus my upcoming graduation. I have so much to do in the next week or two–but for now, rereading a good book on the bus trip.

It’s got wider doors, flip-up seats, redesigned poles and open gangways. Didn’t get to see the new MTA subway prototype? Watch the video to see inside.

if it’s not profitable
