I’m so excited to announce that this fall I’ll have the pleasure of participating in the first ever @mysticalmenagerienyc market!

For one night only, join us at the Mystical Menagerie Market at the stunning de Kooning Studio, a 19th century space that will perfectly house a fashion show and market on September 14th. This unforgettable night, inspired by the magic of folklore and myths from around the world, will be a dark yet fantastical experience in a space decorated by visions of different creatures and ghouls. This otherworldly market will host over 20 artists and makers of magical, esoteric, and erotic art. First, a fashion show presented by Cat Coven and I Do Declare will pay homage to the fashions of the Renaissance/medieval era and will take place from 4:15pm to 4:30pm. The Mystical Menagerie Market will open to the public at 5pm, and end at 11pm. Entry to the market will be sliding scale, $3 – 5 per person, cash only.
Tickets for the fashion show will be available online and those who purchase a fashion show ticket will have the opportunity to pre-purchase the pieces that will be shown, as well as receiving first entry into the night market immediately following the show.
Event coordinators are also working with Third Wave Fund, an organization led by and for queer and trans folks of color working for gender justice to end patriarchy, transphobia, homophobia and misogyny. A silent auction will be taking place and raffles in which 100% of the proceeds will be donated to this wonderful organization, with items donated by iconic artists and creators, which will be announced soon.
