- Yes, I actually have another animation with that. It’s mostly in scraps right now but I had an outline for the whole thing. Was messing with camera settings to show pushing/pulling. Was going along the line of setting a new unit’s comfort and resistance settings, for… research of course.

As for personal partner? Could be arranged. I don’t see why an audio edit wouldn’t fit that. And limits are made to be pushed and tested for strain and function, though breaking company property is frowned upon. Accidents do happen.

The shorter animations usually take me a few weeks, ranging from 1 to 4 weeks so far. Though editing/sound take time too so its not been steady so far

I woke up today at 4 am after a restless night of changing positions and ocassional pondering over weird scenarios with a frantic inner monologue as they unfold. The pessimist in me went on a ramapage but only after looking at my cracked window. Looking at it i thought, how fragile it is, like our lives. We could easily be damaged, whether it is through our personal relationships, or a loss of a beloved being from our lives. Even small things have a lasting impact on our thinking and affects our concentration to do other things. I thought about my life and its many cracks which is still yearning for light to enter and shine its darkest corners. Somewhere out there in the world there are people who are completely shattered and may have lost all hope for any light. I wonder what those people feel who beg to live for a day or two. Those who are already born with cracks. These cracks may never mend but it has made it possible for some light to enter. Hardships and unbearable moments are a part of this chaos called life. I wonder who or what is going to fix these cracks. But it’s also possible that you won’t ever grow into the person you hoped to become without these cracks. I guess i’ll have to wait. It is all there is to life; wait. Wait for that glimmer of light. Sometimes i ask myself, is it even worth it? You always have a fear of unknown and death. You never know who or whats going to hurt you and take you to a certain despair and anguish state, a lostness of the human condition. Who or whats gonna make you happy, though it happens rarely(in my life).The inexorable passage of time does not care about your good or bad moments, it just passes and takes you along. Like - now that the Pandemic is winding down, I’m excited to meet people now and talk about shit. The lockdowns gave me a new appreciation for making connections.

Alright guys. It’s pretty clear to me to that locally the place I teach and do energy work out of is not promoting everyone the way they should and the percentage they take is a lot. I wish I could teach out of my home, but I live with roommates and pets….but I would love to teach online classes!
I have no idea how, what, where, how much or any other details would be. I figure I’ll work that out slowly. So my questions are:

File this under, oh you can be active for 4 hours? You can work part-time. Um no, I have to get ready for work (30 min) get to work (15 min) get home from work (15 min) feed myself all day (30 min) maintain myself, my home and my life (15 min, yeah right), which leaves 15 min for work and absolutely nothing else.
This is so accurate, back after I’d relapsed I wanted to try and go in for one class at school so I could still stay in contact with the education system. I let slip during a meeting that I managed to drag myself to that I could manage about 4 hours of activity a week, which the teacher sprang on to mean I was being lazy for just trying to get to 1 hour class. Never matter that it was 30 minutes travel, that I would have to get washed and dressed, that I would probably still need to recover for 3 days from it.
Far too often abled people see the things they do easily as “non activities”, they don’t realise that for many disabled people these things have to be carefully planned and measured, and sometimes they simply can’t be done.

I get X number of pain-free steps per day right now, which means that, for large conventions (like SDCC), I need to be in a mobility device. I had someone ask if I used up my steps every day before transferring to the scooter, and look surprised and a little horrified when I said “no, I save them so I can go to the bathroom unassisted.” Like, they had never considered that walking is involved in peeing.

Reblogging for the important point that the term “activity” may mean something very different and much broader for a disabled person with a chronic pain or fatigue related condition compared to its meaning for a non disabled person. If you’re tired enough, simply sitting up in a chair rather than lying in bed is an activity that drains energy otherwise usable for other things. A thing I knew from other people with pain and fatigue related conditions, but worth reinforcing for followers who didnt know or had forgotten.
How do any of you earn things?
We don’t, it’s almost like disability puts us at risk of poverty or something.
Once mentioned to a coworker that my weekends were my Chores Day where I do the bulk of cleaning and laundry and they were genuinely surprised. They said “wow, I don’t have a laundry day, I just do it when the hamper is full” like the idea of having enough energy to do laundry on the same day that they run out of clean laundry is a given, when for me it’s practically a miracle.
Do you guys like that I use a banner style thing to do a summary of the story or would you guys like it better if I just started doing that in the little descriptor thing at the beginning? I think I may start doing that just because it takes up a lot of space on my iPad and Its kind of annoying switching from device to device lol

I’m starting to dip my toes back into the knitting mod. I know it’s been a while but I have a good excuse (I’ve been addicted to Stardew Valley) and getting back into it is a bit daunting (I wrote this code?? What does it DO?) but hopefully all will be well soon.
However, it’s come to my realisation that my plans for the knitting mod have gotten a bit out of hand. As well as the multitude of improvements I already talked about in the description, I’m also thinking about custom dreams/wishes, and a self-employed career?? And CAS items is also a pretty big addition.
So I have a couple of questions on how to approach doing all this.
It’s a lot of text coming up so consider this a warning.
1. How do you feel about NRaas style modules? The current state of the mod I’d say is pretty much the basics/base module (though some improvements would be added). But things like knitting CAS items, dreams, a career, could be A LOT that maybe some people don’t really want. I’m thinking it’s better to have some optional things rather than one giant mod that could potentially have a bigger performance hit.
2. Is it better for me to bring out updates in sections? I’m aware it’s been several months since I released the mod, and a lot of the updates I want to do are pretty time consuming, and so I don’t want to be like 10 years later finally done. But I also get that having to update mod constantly is a bit of a pain. So neither is ideal but if I can do updates with larger additions + improvements in instalments, hopefully that won’t be too overwhelming? I’m also thinking it will keep me motivated to actually continue working on it, as I can do it one part at a time, release, hopefully everything is good, work on next bit…
3. Is it overkill to add dreams and career? I think my excitement for these things is pretty strong right now as I’ve been looking into all the endless possibilities, but maybe it’s not worth overloading the mod with EVERYTHING? Though I’d probably keep them pretty simple anyway, like a self-employed career would be like the Ambitions skill ones, where you just knit and improve as you make stuff and get a weekly stipend. Idk lol I’m just confused.
I’m currently working on adding knittable accessories that are like buymode objects that can then be worn and removed in Live mod. Like Arsil’s Sunglasses mod - Thanks to Olomaya from MTS for figuring this out!!
I actually have some questions about approaching this, but I think it’s better if I do that a little further down the line.
