Recently, I’ve been swamped with work for uni, as once again it’s the time for deadlines, deadlines… and deadlines. So just to share something a bit different, this is one of the characters for a game that I have been working on, it was supposed to be a rather simple, stylised character.
It was a bit of a challenge, as when it comes to my work in 3D I am really interested in hyper-realism. But I definitely learnt a lot, especially when it comes to rigging, and I have to say - I admire anyone who chooses to do rigging for a living, as it was great fun when everything worked, but one small mistake can fork up SO MUCH… and good luck finding it ♥ I was definitely driving all the people around me crazy.

started sculpting a while back and made this ant!!
her name is atalanta, shes a worker ant who fell in love with one of the colony’s allied aphids and theyre planning on eloping. once i figure out how aphid anatomy works i Will sculpt her
also her sword is meant to be a pine needle ;0
made with paper clay, sticks and hot glue. id probably use a different kind of clay next time i run out tho it was kinda hard to get finer details. also not happy with the antennae which kinda builds on the finer details thing, wish i had beads or something i couldve used but im p dang proud of her!!

Some progress of my film!
A bit different to my usual stuff but I’m modeling my witch in 3D! I have just finished the body model (modeling the hands killed me) and now I’m going to rework the hair :D
