Fire Emblem Heroes – Champions of Another World
I admit it. This game has put me in Gatcha hell…and I’m enjoying every moment of it ⊙‿⊙
As such, I decided to draw my most used/favorite FEH team (I’m a dirty +10 Reinhardt user, sorry). Nintendo and IS have really done a fantastic job with this game. If not for the constant updates and reaction to player feedback, I could have seen this game dying a long time ago.
And seeing how popular this game is, it makes me happy that it has been an incredibly effective introduction point to new players who don’t know much about the older games. Hopefully this will allow IS to make more remakes of some older games that never made it to the States.
I got too ambitious with the composition of this piece. I went through several iterations and ended up doing this on a 35x20 in canvas, so be sure to check out some of the detail shots. I know I’m not great with small detail stuff, as I tend to be scratch in my line work and even scratchier with my colors. But I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out!

Ranking the 5 sons of Ragnar
1. Ubbe: Just a nice guy. Is actually a good husband and a better father to Bjorn’s kids than Bjorn himself. Tried so hard in the settlements on Iceland and Greenland. Loves his misses as much as I do.
2. Ivar: Not necessarily a good guy, but has a lot of character growth and probably the most interesting of the five. I just really loved his arc.
3. Hvitserk: Always felt the most human out of all his brothers. Struggled with the constant violence and their position in that society.
4. Sigurd: Literally no opinion. Bit of an idiot for pissing off Ivar but that’s it really.
5. Bjorn: I can’t truly explain my hatred for Bjorn. His wives were always more badass than him. His daughter dies and he just doesn’t care. Makes shitty decision after shitty decision. I just don’t like the man and began to enjoy the show more once he died. He’s just a whiny fuck. Similar to how much I hated Jon Snow by the time season 8 had finished.
Lovely little five mile with the dogs today on the sledding trails. They were very neutral about dogs, bikes and people today which made me very proud. They also got to go swimming.
Comments said to us today include:

-“are those THE sled dogs?” (Yes, yes they are).
Revisiting some old videos because I’m trying to remember what it was like to go outside and not have to deal with a gazillion mosquitos. I will take rainy, slushy snow over bugs every time tbh
