John Walker really went and watched a Troom Troom video and thought, “I’ll do you one better.”

I’m suddenly super interested in John Walker’s storyline

At first I thought Bucky got Sam new wings. BUT I NOW THINK HE GOT HIM A NEW CAPTAIN AMERICA SUIT??????

Okay I’m gonna say it:

We’re being too cruel to John Walker from the beginning just because he isn’t Steve.

He doesn’t deserve to be Captain America but he doesn’t deserve all the unnecessary hate either.

He’s an interesting character. He has reasons. He lost people. He did good. He made mistakes. But he’s not all bad.

That being said, BITCH NOT ONLY TOOK THE SERUM BUT IS ALSO MAKING HIS OWN FUCKING SHIELD????

I mean, I know we hate them both and shit…but no one walked away from this episode shipping these two? Really? 

I dunno, maybe I’ve been out of the MCU fandom for too long, but I thought that someone would at least talk about them together because regardless of how you feel about their characters Kurt Russell and Cle Bennett are pretty attractive and their characters look nice together. 

Oh well…maybe it’s just me?

Still, I’m really glad we’re getting so many characters from the Captain America mythos. 

I’ve got Eli Bradley back (and Isaiah). Joaquin is getting so much love! And Battlestar has been introduced to the mainstream now. And then there’s John Walker and I’ve heard rumors about possibly gettin Rikki Barnes. 

I’ve always wanted a Captain America Family book, and this show is the closest thing I’ve gotten to it! Great Job Malcolm Spellman. 

And…I’m not saying we should have a season two…but…ya’know…I wouldn’t exactly disparage it either.

This episode! WTF WTF! Bucky crying and smiling, that boy deserves the world! Also Ayo and Bucky friendship, I want more! Sam you are such a good bro, surrounded my dumb asses. The scenes had with Karli was so gooood! I guess Zemo is gone, that’s cool. And MF John Walker, he is psychotic now so that’s cool. Did did he decapitate that guy? Also RIP Hoskins you were a real one ☝️. I want more Sarah Wilson please! Also I feel like Bucky is due a metal breakdown but. We better get a Sam and Bucky heart to heart before this is all over. Can they go steal the shield now? And go hang out on the boat?

Now, I can’t imagine him getting too involved with the whole situation, but he would have still had something to say.

So Bucky and Sam don’t hear from him for months right. They need their space and none of them are in a strong enough mental state to come into regular contact with each other.

And then once day, the day that John Walker is announced as the new Captain America, Sam and Bucky get added to a group chat.

How Tony got their numbers, I don’t know, but he did. When they first enter the chat, all thats on there is this meme from Tony:

So now the story is exactly the same, and Tony’s face isn’t even shown. But when Fake Cap does something particularly stupid, tone deaf, or makes grand assumptions about his relationship with Steve, either Sam or Bucky quietly takes out their phone and sends it to Tony.

This does escalate to a Twitter Account which Pepper knows about, but allows. 

Because the only thing that connects Tony to Sam and Bucky is Steve, and Tony deals with shit with humour, so Walker will now be the butt of every joke until the end of time. Even when Sam gets the shield back, it doesn’t die.
