Well, Bowser Week is over. These costumes aren’t real, but for one week we got to imagine if they were. And nobody was tricked along the way! (At least not on my account)
We’ve had two Japan-exclusive costumes already, so it’s time to give Bowser Week a “western rep” with King Koopa as he appeared in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Only one more costume left to share tomorrow. Have you guessed it?

I had to model the head in Blender from scratch for this one, so here’s the concept art I made to assist that.
Here’s the process gif. Chronologically, this was the last alternate I made for this series. I’ve been posting them this week somewhat out of order from how I made them. The order I made them was as follows: Wedding, Dry, Tomorrow’s one, SM64, SMB3, Makeover, then this.

If you’ve only played the DS version, you’re missing out for a few reasons. Bowser’s proportions in Super Mario 64 were very… out of the ordinary. Still two more days to go in Bowser Week!

SM64 Bowser is such a weird, distict version of the character, that I’ve actually wanted to make this alt since 2013. Stupid dreams do come true.
