if i was in charge of the sequels i’d make poe dameron constantly wear classic rebellion pilot orange but crucially nobody else in the resistance does and he’s just really committed to the vintage look. it does work for him and everyone’s mad abt it

it’s the only thing finn pulls from the wreckage… finn crossing the desert leaving his stormtrooper armour behind and shielding himself from the sun with rebellion orange… rey recognising it from her pilot dolls, finn’s literally dressed like the heroes of her childhood dreams… “keep it. it suits you” but it’s the colour of the rebellion… the way he’d stand out against the darkness and the snow on starkiller base, bright and unmistakable… do you see my vision do you see it
also literally everyone on the resistance base sees finn in poe’s very bright very unmistakable Vintage Orange™️ and is like. well. okay then.

At first, Luke barely noticed when Rey and Finn brought armloads of datapads into the cabin, murmuring to each other. He’d long since learned to tune out that kind of distraction while meditating. When the Tico sisters showed up not long after, helping carry in what looked like a crate of something, it didget a little harder to concentrate, but Luke did not open his eyes. When Connix and the Dameron boy – good grief, he wasn’t a boy anymore, was he? That meant Luke had gotten old when he wasn’t looking! Oh no no, that wouldn’t do at all– came thumping in with his noisy little BB-8 unit at his heels, Luke gave up.
It wasn’t that he couldn’t tune them out, it was just that now he was too curious to.
I hope Finn got to keep his space horse. He seems like a guy who likes pets :) What do you think he names her?

Seeing this video I now know what a real leader looks like. I know I don’t understand the weight of his words as a white person, but I can recognise the pure unity and strength and honesty here and even to me it’s bloody awe- inspiring and if this doesn’t make people listen I don’t know what will.
Non-black allies, take note of the lady holding a microphone to his megaphone. For us, she’s an example of what we should be doing. Amplify their voices, don’t drown or talk over them. Stand beside them, not in front of them and lend our resources however we can. And if John Boyega’s career is in danger, or even if it’s not, we can watch, stream, boost and generally elevate the shit out of anything he’s ever been involved in- even instagram posts- so white casting directors and producers cannot ignore him because whatever anyone says, Hollywood is about profit and ifthey think audiences, especially white audiences, will pay to see him they won’t drop him so easily
