Ben Solo’s diary on the day he killed Han
I saw my mom and dad after so long on Takodana. They were in alot of pain. I could feel it.
I wish i could shout out “MOM DAD I LOVE YOU I AM SORRY HELP ME PLEASE..”.
Chewie was also there he is getting old. I remember how much he helped me maintain my hairstyle and the stories he told me when i wasn’t able to sleep.
I met a girl. Her name was Rey. I saw a little bit of myself in her. Lost, looking for love and happiness. She defeated me the scar she gave me isn’t half as painful as killing dad.
I feel like i am suffering. I told my dad his son was dead. But actually he is miserable. I feel so guilty. I wanted to prove my dad i was good enough but instead i proved otherwise.
Save me please…

It’s tough when beloved characters die on screen, but when the actors who portray them pass away in the real world, there is a profound sense of loss, both from the real world sadness that comes with losing someone, but also knowing that we’ll never get to see the character on screen again.
When Carrie Fisher passed away tragically in 2016, the collective Star Wars fandom and many many others all felt this type of loss. And while we will actually get to see Leia on screen again, one last time, in The Rise of Skywalker, we all miss the spark, the charisma and singular personality that was Carrie Fisher.
Since this is the final countdown and this will be the last time I feature Leia on the countdown, with 5 days to go, I wanted to do one more tribute to the amazing character, so from top left, clockwise, these 5 amazing pieces of artwork are by:

This takes place before the Force Awakens
She was known as the gem of the galaxy, resembling her mother in her beauty and strength, with the cunning and slyness of a smuggler as her father once was. The future of the resistance.
Mae walked into the control room, finally finding her mother alone. “mother can I talk to you” Leia turned to smile at her youngest.
“what’s troubling you, child?”
“I can feel Ben sometimes.” Leia quickly turned away.
“it’s just your imagination Mae, now get back to work.” Mae reached out and touched her mothers shoulder.
“Mother please, I don’t feel Kylo Ren, the real Ben. He’s still alive, I know he’s still alive. I feel him and I know you do” Leia still refused to face her daughter, Mae slowly dropped her hand. “mother”
“You have too much of your father in you. You’re not going after your brother. I will not have two children turning out like my father.” Leia faced the girl with a stern look as she walked away from Mae.
“Moth-”
“Padmè Rose Solo. I will not have it.” Mae let out a small childish groan as her mother moved around the control room watching the cameras for an attack.
“You should understand how it feels when you know your twin brother is in trouble. No one stopped you. I’m not asking for your permission. I will save Ben. With or without your blessing” Leia sighed and shook her head as the youngest Solo made her way out of the room. She has a mix of Solo and Skywalker in her that can be deadly and she won’t back down.
“Rosie!” Poe called out as Mae passed the room of fighter pilots When he reached the girl his smile fell “what’s wrong Rosie?”
Mae smiled at the familiar nickname only Poe called her.
“Mother is stubborn-”
“Well you are her daughter!” Poe gave a laugh hoping to lighten the mood but it didn’t work.
“She won’t let me save Ben”
“Padmè, he can’t be saved. How many times do I have to tell you?” The young Solo girl kept a straight face but she felt like crying.
“None of you understand. He is my twin and I know he’s still good. You weren’t at the temple the night it all happened. You don’t understand the helplessness I felt knowing only I can save my brother and I couldn’t get to him. Whether you like it or not I am going after him. With or with out your help” Mae then ran all the way to her quarters the tears freely falling as she packed her bags.
“Rosie,” Poe whispered, “stop.” he turned her around so he was facing her. “stop.” Poe stared into her eyes. “we will find him, but this is not the way.” he pulled the girl into his arms, hugging her as the tears fell. “we will do something Padmè, I promise.”
