Please, avoid using word “slavic”. Because it is synonymous with “brotherly”.
In Ukraine we don’t use “slavic” because “at first, russians tell everyone it’s "slavic” - and then tell it’s russian". This word has acted as an accomplice in russia’s many crimes against other cultures in their neighborhood.
We either clearly name a specific people, or we say “post-soviet”
If we are talking about the period before the emergence of russia, we are saying “the time of Kyivan Rus”. Russians even stole our name from us.
When I studied history at school, I could not fully believe what was written in our textbooks. It seemed like some kind of unrealistic propaganda to me. Because how can a whole nation kill, steal, rape, prohibit, starve, torture, appropriate the achievements of another nation just because. Just because they love doing it. For millennia. That doesn’t happen, does it? What have we done wrong to them? What have we done to them?
Why are they offended by the existence of our children, our parents? Our families? Our language? Our artists and our scientists, our farmers and our sportsmen?
You know, they say that EVERY Ukrainian has at least one relative who can be found on the lists of those repressed by soviet union. I think it’s true because I myself found around 50? 100?of mine. I don’t remember because the number was huge.
And now, while their “flowers of the nation” gives concerts, exhibitions, sucks out money with impunity, our flowers of the nation are dying under shelling. From hunger. In cellars and in the field. Fast and slowly. Just because russians love it. They fucking love it because that’s how they feel great.
But what I hate most about russians is their adoration for playing the victim. They start crying, complaining how bad everything is, whining that they are not like the rest, that “there are only russophobes around”. This phrase causes a red veil in me, which obscures my eyes so much that they turn into a sniper scope.
At the same time, they do absolutely nothing. They are pathetic in their desire to receive praise from all Ukrainians for a green ribbon. They are pathetic in their fear of reposting about the war. 99.9% of russians are pathetic, pathetic people.
The only russians I don’t hate are those who don’t do all of the above. Who help the deported Ukrainians to leave. Which set fire to factories and military registration and enlistment offices. Who fight on our side (yes, there are some). Who do something, and not whine endlessly.
A LOT of russians go abroad and find fleeing Ukrainian women with children even there.
You understand, we don’t feel ふcking safe anywhere. And I’m terribly sorry for those Ukrainians who left for Germany and Austria.

Today is the Remembrance Day for the Victims of the Crimean Tatar People Genocide. I’m not that good at English to talk about this tragedy. But you can watch this or read this. Nothing changes for decades and centuries. The rashist empire continues to commit crimes against humanity. My Ukraine is struggling with absolute evil. Crimea is my homeland. I was born and lived there for 25 years until the rashist occupation in 2014. Therefore, the deportation of 1944 is a very understandable pain for me, as well as for the millions of Ukrainian citizens who were forced to flee their hometowns because of the war. World recognition of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people, as well as the current genocide of the Ukrainian people, is very important. And no one in the whole world should experience such horror.
Russia invades my country. My cities are being bombed. Russians are laughing in internet and promise me that they slaughter us all and turn my country into russian region! The world don’t be silent. There is a crime in central Europe. Today we, tomorrow will be you. Russia will not stop! They are trying to rebuilt their fucking empire - Russian world! We live in 21 century! Ukraine lives 30 years peacefully without wars. First Russia annexed our Crimea and conquered part of East region, now Russia are trying to conquer all my country. STOP RUSSIA!

For me that was the hardest thing I ever did. I started it on the eve of the first day of war, of the open invasion of Russian army into my country. The war has been going here for 8 years now, but it was in a background. Now it’s the 9th day of this absolutely absurd and brutal war which has it’s final aim to destroy Ukraine completely. And I was surprised to know that it’s Friday! That’s how things changed for us — we can’t tell the days of the week, but we’ve started this new countdown. The countdown of unseen bravery, strength and hope. And integrity. That’s why War is fighting for us. That’s why Aziraphale is so cool with his sword. And that’s why Crowley is ready to throw Molotov cocktail (Bandera smoothie, as we call it here). To stop Armageddon right now they, and all of us have to fight. We didn’t want to. But we just want our life back.
