Ohla: “No. it’s only me. I left my family in Ukraine because they were like, ‘at least we have to save someone’.”

Goodall: “You must be so worried about them”
Ohla: “Yes, it’s actually tragic. I couldn’t sleep for 3 days… I was in constant panic because my friends from Kyiv are protecting Kyiv right now in the volunteer army.”
Goodall:”What do you think of Vladimir Putin, when you think of think?“
Ohla:"If I see him right now, I will kill him with my own hands. Because this person killed a lot of my friends, my family, my fellow citizens.”

United24 - The initiative of the President of Ukraine
A new official platform for donations to Ukraine has been launched. All donations will be divided into three categories:
- defense and demining
- medical aid
- rebuilding Ukraine
But most importantly, the platform will provide greater transparency on how donations are spent. Reports will be published regularly.
Many thanks to everyone who donates to help Ukraine. War is very, VERY expensive. For every day of struggle for its independence and survival, Ukraine pays a huge price not only in human lives, but also in money. So any bit of help is infinitely valuable

THE RACE TO ARCHIVE THE UKRAINIAN INTERNET
In times of war, preservation is more critical than ever—cultural artifacts, historical collections, and important records are often targeted and erased. Since Russia invaded Ukraine last month, the Internet Archive has been a crucial member of the effort to preserve Ukrainian websites, datasets, and digital resources before they’re lost forever.
We sometimes think of the internet as independent of the physical world, but data centers, routers, and cable networks are just as vulnerable to wartime destruction as a bridge or a road would be. Additionally, digital infrastructure can face other challenges ranging from electricity loss to advanced cyberattacks. Right now, more than a thousand volunteers from around the world are working to protect Ukrainian materials from these threats.
ARCHIVE TEAM
One major effort is being run by Archive Team, a loose collective of archivists, activists, and programmers who capture a variety of online materials and store them in the Internet Archive. Archive Team is running three major projects to capture the Ukrainian Internet. The first is an undirected crawl on URLs ending in “.ua”, which ranges across as much of the Ukrainian web as possible in the hopes of quickly gathering a wide variety of materials. This approach has the advantage of breadth, but sacrifices depth; complete copies may not be captured for every targeted site. The second project, however, selects a few specific sites to archive in their entirety–including government webpages, educational sites, and institutions that include digital archives and digital libraries. These sites are captured in-depth to ensure that as much is archived as possible. Finally, the third project is focused on journalism, relying on Ukrainian news aggregators to gather tens of millions of Ukrainian articles, creating a comprehensive, real-time record of how the invasion is unfolding.SUCHO
Another effort to preserve crucial resources is Saving Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Online, or SUCHO. Coordinated online and through Slack, the volunteers are using a variety of web archiving tools, including the Wayback Machine, to capture web sites, open access journals, music, and other digital materials documenting Ukrainian cultural heritage. Many of these materials are now publicly available in the Internet Archive; if you’d like to learn more then check out this blog post about our support of SUCHO.

How can you help the effort to protect these vital resources? Right now SUCHO is seeking more volunteers to help gather URLs, perform archiving operations, and improve metadata. They’re especially looking for people who speak Russian/Ukrainian or have coding skills–you can learn more here!

Hello everyone! My name is Anna Moshak, I am a Ukrainian freelance artist who currently works from Germany. After the full-scale invasion began, my friends and I created a volunteer group that delivers humanitarian aid to Ukrainians and animals affected by war.
Almost all of our volunteers (except for me ;_;) are in Ukraine and directly engaged in purchasing and delivering items. For example, here is a very (VERY) small part of animal food that we have already purchased and distributed:
Of the things that can be highlighted, we dealing with:
- Pet food, carriers, bowls, toilets.
- Medicine and food for people
- Sleeping bags, blankets, fire extinguishers
- Clothing, food, and shoes for our soldiers.

Glory to Ukraine
24.02 russia started a full scale war in Urkaine. Because their government thinks that we are not a independent country and all of us are n*zis, while they come to our home on tanks with painted letter “z” on it, destroy our cities and homes. My family is in danger, my friends are too. I worry about them. But i’m don’t worry about myself, i’m not scared of death. Anymore.
If you can please spread info about this war, don’t believe in r*ssian propaganda. We are people, not a military facilities.

Russia invades my country. My cities are being bombed. Russians are laughing in internet and promise me that they slaughter us all and turn my country into russian region! The world don’t be silent. There is a crime in central Europe. Today we, tomorrow will be you. Russia will not stop! They are trying to rebuilt their fucking empire - Russian world!
We live in 21 century! Ukraine lives 30 years peacefully without wars. First Russia annexed our Crimea and conquered part of East region, now Russia are trying to conquer all my country. STOP RUSSIA!
