This was my very last shot on Zootopia and for a seemingly simple shot, it was a surprisingly difficult one to find. The directors and I worked a number of subtle variations (not all of them represented here) to get the timing and emotion just right. Sometimes, over the course of a shot, you have to explore a variety of options until you find the one that really works.

I was looking through old files to find interesting stuff for my portofolio and i found this \o/ it’s actually an old storyboard exercice (yes, i do sometime use my school work to make RNM fanart)
It’s set between 1x02 and 1x03, one of the many mornings were Alex left before Michael woke up.
Anyway, i never shared it here, so now seems like a good time.
