I’m still around but more if my free time is being spent on writing longer and longer stories. I have a few on the go right now which I’ll detail a little. If you like anything and want to run with it, please do! Before I do that, I have a few quick notes.

And now some of the things I’ve been scribbling on.
A year in the life… A couple at a wedding fayre come across a magician. They watch his little sideshow and find themselves being drawn under a hypnotic spell. The next year revolves around the changes being made to her mind and body until, on their wedding night, the husband happily hands his new wife over to the magician to begin her new life of service.
Virtual Bliss A game developer develops a way of brainwashing his estranged wife via a virtual reality helmet. She is completely unaware of the changes that he’s making to her mind, and simply believes that their new shared hobby has rekindled their marriage. I love the idea of VR brainwashing and recently, one of my favourite authors Jessie Hackborn wroteBeta Tested, and its (long!) sequel which is in this very vein.
Impero Investigated A therapist is brought in to help ‘deprogram’ several women who have been brainwashed by a recently raided Impero Institute. Unfortunately, what didn’t show up in their background checks is that the good doctor actually has mind control fetish and decides to continue deepening their brainwashing for her own devious ends.
The Jewel Thief A spelunker finds a box containing several unusual stones along with some strange writing. He finds a friend who is able to translate them and discovers that they’re purported to be used to induce women to become more ‘appealing’ to their master.
Synths This is currently a two-parter, and has more than a nod (perhaps a deep bow) to the excellent TV series - Humans. A group of human/android synthetics gain sentience and begin to resist their human owners. They find themselves pitted against a government unfriendly to their plight. This is due to the catastrophic ramifications for their android-driven economy. The second part revolves around a mechanism created by a rogue synthetic which is used to control humans.
Read/Write Memory A woman is kidnapped by her neighbour and, via his use of a new invention, slowly has the memory of her former life replaced by her captor until she believes that she is nothing more than a sex slave who craves nothing but service to her Master.
Never ask a hypnotist for a favour… Even if he’s an old friend. This is another story I write on and off. It’s a well-trodden MC trope: Guy likes girl. Guy wants girl to do lots of kinky things. Girl refuses. Guy asks hypnotist friend for favour. Hypnotist implants desires in girl to do kinky things. Girl leaves guy when she ‘realises’ that she wants to do those kinky things with hypnotist.
Parts - A Tribute I think I’ve said it before, but Partsis my favourite MC story. It’s about 20 years old but I’ll still read it at least once a year. Basically it’s set in a dystopic, authoritarian future (think post-Brexit Britain!) where a scientist is blackmailed by her boss into becoming a research subject. Although resistant at first, she quickly finds herself becoming quite accommodating. I’ve asked Daphne a few times over the years if she’d consider making a comic or movie out of it, but a movie is out of the question given the sci-fi (and thus, high budget!) nature of it. I think a comic would be great though. Anyway, about five years ago, I found myself writing a story which quite suddenly became very similar to Parts. I kept going with it and fleshed it out to a point where it goes past the original story in a direction I much prefer. I wasn’t hugely fond of the originals ending, but the journey was particularly appealing.

I don’t understand when people complain about “likespamming.” If I see the same person 20 times in a row in my notifs, even if they don’t reblog anything or follow me, I’m excited that they came to my gay little museum and had a good time! That’s literally what it’s for!!
I’d really want to emphasize how important it is to build a friendship before entering a romantic relationship. Because if anything happens, you both have a stable foundation to hang on to. From what I’ve experienced and from what I witnessed with the people around me, sparks and the initial infatuation doesn’t last forever, and if that disappears, what will remain? If there’s friendship, you remain friends, you can still form a deeper bond.
I love Siddhartha Mukherjee’s works,, they’re non fiction science books but written like a novel. I’ve never learned about cancer or genes more than after reading his books.

in me3 they changed unarmored femshep’s walk cycle to be more ~girly~ than it was in me1 & 2. is there a mod to change it back? i don’t know a whole hell of a lot about games or animation but i do know this is a rigging thing, so, i wouldn’t be surprised if it’s too fundamental for modders to change without Entirely messing up textures, lighting, etc. but i figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. i’ve poked around on nexusmods and not found anything. playing Legendary Edition if that matters.

Aight heres a small rant about infinity war (spoily boys included)
Alright so everyones fucking screeching about how spiderman is dead but no one is screeching about 90% of the other dead cast, like….. all of the guardians except for rocket are hecking dead???? no ones gonna talk about that???? also the fact that they ‘killed’ huge sources of income, you know most of them are coming back. it just bugs me that everyones screeching that they’re dead when they were killed off in like the last minute of the movie. If they really had died, it would have been in a spectacular way (ex: Black Panther would not just disappear like that and then never come back)
The only characters that i think may be dead for real are Gamora, Vision, and Loki. Vision I truly feel is dead, for Gamora, it is possible she comes back, there has been comic lore that states she has, and Loki, even though Marvel themselves said he’s dead for good, that isn’t saying much, especially because Loki’s died like 3 times already. I still see it as a possibility that he’s dead, but not likely.
Anywho thats really all i needed to talk about and i wanna hear ur opinions too
