After a great deal of encouragement from my friends today I finally decided to make Berrod look the way I’ve always wanted him to. I always hesitated or minimized the changes because I had so much art, story, and screenshots, but I can make new stuff from now on. I’ve got a lot to change and update, but it’s worth it. I’m so, so pleased with this! Thank you for the encouragement, folks!
Rudd’s Weekend: Creations in Celebration of @ruddcatha
Hi everyone! Many of you may know our friend, RuddCatha. She is a beacon of light in this fandom: one of the first to say hello, to welcome new faces, to help people with brainstorming and plotting and revising. She is someone that we go for advice; she is someone that we go to when we want to celebrate our accomplishments; she is someone that we go to when we need to cry. She is also a part of so many aspects of the fandom: she mods servers, she mods events, she mods the fandom’s awards; she also writes, and sometimes, she even arts.
Rudd is someone who really, truly, does it all.
That’s why, this weekend, some of us have decided to get together to say thank you to Rudd, for being here, for being with us, for being you. We love you, and we are honored to know you, to call you our friend.
In honor of our dear RuddCatha, we have created some stories and art meant to celebrate her, to show her how much she means to us. And we are so happy, in turn, to share these creations with all of you, who know and who love Rudd, too. You will see these works cross your dash over the next 72 or so hours, and we hope you enjoy!
Some of you may also know that RuddCatha has been fundraising to be able to attend a very important, national pageant in Ohio this July; this is one of the special, self-care things that she does for herself, and she is not a person who does this nearly enough. So far, she has been making progress in raising money, but we wanted to also do a little something to help out, to let her know how much we appreciate her.
So, this weekend, we are asking that, if you have a little money to spare, and you like the works that we’ve made, you might be willing to donate to Rudd’s ko-fi in honor of her, and in honor of all the work she does for us (and, really, for thousands of people in her real-life professional and volunteer work, too).

we never expected this much support, we just wanted to bring some positivity back to tumblr, but through this we have found how many people share that same wish as us. i hope that together we can continue to make tumblr a kinder and more positive place to be, and along the way we can drag some more people into this
