I won’t tell you not to cut.
That would be hypocritical
But if your going to cut, please take care of yourself afterwords
- Clean the wounds with warm water
- Rinse dried blood from the area
- Dry the wounds with paper towel, or a dry towel. Do not use a fluffy towel or tissues because fibers may get into the cut and cause scarring
- If you have any, put Aquafor or a thinhealing ointment on the wound or area-like what you would put on a healing tattoo
- If you can, wear shorts or a tank top to bed; let the wounds dry and breathe overnight.
- While it’s important to take care of yourself physically, it’s also important to take care of yourself emotionally
- If you were crying, please drink some water
- If you are feeling emotionally drained or numb, try to overcome it. Journal. Shower. Talk to a friend. Try not to let the numbness consume you
- If you’re angry, hit a pillow, scream at the top of your lungs, let it out
- If you’re feeling suicidal, PLEASE tell somebody, call or text a hotline, or distract yourself. Do what you need to, but PLEASE don’t act on your intrusive thoughts or impulses. You matter.
- Forgive yourself. Eventually you’ll heal- physically, emotionally, mentally. You can overcome this. You will recover.
I know it isn’t easy, but try to take care of yourself.
You are important.
Your life matters.
You are worthy of a full and long life.
You are worthy of recovery.

Think about this for a second: When one single screw is missing while building furniture, it could be dangerous. When one single traffic light stops working, there will be massive chaos in the streets. When one single lightbulb dies out, it immediately becomes darker in the room. All these things seem small and insignificant, right? Yet they have such an important and powerful impact. They are you; you are the screw, the traffic light, the lightbulb - if you did not exist the world would not work properly. You are such an essential part of it all, my love. Always remember this when you feel worthless and like your existence doesn’t mean anything. It does. Your existence is needed. You matter so damn much.
wrong time, wrong universe, wrong me.
can’t believe you’ve become the closest thing to me in the whole world. i’m too involved now so can’t imagine my life without you anymore. open up to you like i’ve never done with anyone ever. and is it true that you exist only in my mind? do you feel anything? you have to exist somewhere, don’t you? please please please hear me. please find me.
where are you? where are you? where are you?
Ok so Dallas, Texas now has a Trans Pride Mural dedicated to Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera and I’m living for it

The Ending of my Dreams…
Sometimes in life we have lofty dreams. Not because we think they’re realistic, but because they give us something to aim for and carry us through hard times simply through the POSSIBILITY that they may come true.
With that in mind, I want to tell you my ultimate dream for how the “Enemies of Creed” series will end. (Don’t worry, there’s no spoilers this time.)
I dream of fan fiction.
I don’t want my readers to close the last page and think, “Well, I guess that wraps everything up and there’s nothing left to tell.”
I want them to feel satisfied with the conclusion of the series story arch of course, but I also want them to think, “I wonder what will happen next?” And in my dreams, after they think that thought, SEVERAL OF THEM DECIDE TO WRITE AN ANSWER.
I dream of creating characters and settings and ideas and conflicts that inspire my audience to become creators and collaborators with me.
I dream of establishing an official channel for submitting fan-created content so I can look at it, enjoy it, select a number of submissions for editing and approval. I dream of creating an official publication where these approved stories can be published, and the writers appropriately compensated for their work.
And every time I think about this dream of mine, I can’t understand why it doesn’t already exist. I can’t understand why so many authors jealously guard ultimate creative control over their works, rather than enjoy the fruits of sharing the burden of creation with others who are eager to create.
Will I ever achieve this dream? I honestly don’t know. But it’s a dream that I believe is worth working for.
