So Mick’s Necrian babies have been kidnapped, and despite his usual laconic brusqueness he’s actually pretty desperate to get them back. He, Kayla, and the other ex-Legends search through time and space to find them, only to learn that it was Kayla’s mum who took them. She’s a powerful warlord on Necria, and wanted to see her grandkids despite the longtime tensions with her daughter. And it turns out that she never ate Kayla’s dad despite saying so earlier, and he happens to be a big fan of Rebecca Silver. Kayla’s mum returns the kids on condition of getting to see them on holidays, and everything works out for Team Ex-Legends. Mick’s clearly thrilled to have the babies back and Nate finally contacts Ray after the Legends’ 1925 adventures are over, so a rescue isn’t necessary.
Flash forward to a gathering in 2049, in which some of the gang are catching up with each others’ lives and the lives of their kids, but they’re suddenly teleported away, one by one. Sara’s taken first and Mick calmly assumes she’s been abducted by aliens again, but he disappears too until only poor Carter’s left and sulking that he isn’t good enough to be kidnapped…and then he’s taken too. The scene ends with a ‘To be continued!’, so it seems like there will be further adventures set in the Legendsverse at some point. Maybe there’ll be more comics to finish the story, though I haven’t heard of anything yet.
There’s also a short story at the end which tells of Booster Gold’s adventures between stealing the Waverider and getting arrested (and a bit about his motivation, as he was trying to save Skeets). Hopefully this gets finished as well, even if the showrunners have to flesh out the upcoming season in comics form; I hate the idea of the series ending on a cliffhanger with no resolution. But now two stories which need to be concluded does at least suggest there’s something on its way. Fingers crossed!

I LOVED all the cameos, everyone being there and mourning Oliver was just epic, friends, family, enemies who became friends, old faces… just perfect.
It was lovely to see everyone back (besides Laurel ), I guess they’re putting that down to Moira’s explanation to Thea as well as Robert?
Seeing everyone set off on to their next adventures was lovely to see.

We finally saw where Felicity disappeared to after the season 7 finale. The after life looks pretty damn great in the Arrowverse. They can live happily together forever ❤️
So Diggle is becoming the green lantern? I wonder if he’ll be in the new superman show as he’s moving to Metropolis.
Overall I thought it was a great send off to the show. I’m very happily satisfied with the direction they went.
I’m hoping Green Arrow and The Canaries gets picked up so we can see Mia continue Oliver’s footsteps.

I was thinking about this whole, everybody’s mad at Barry over Flashpoint and did some thinking. Forgive the crude drawing, but it explains my point (Doc Brown-style)
Flashpoint is not the reason for everything. There have so far been 3 time travels back to Barry’s mom’s death.
there are:
1. The original timeline 2. The timeline Reverse Flash and Future (Barry 2024/Crisis Barry?) go back and RF kills Barry’s Mom 3. The timeline where Barry goes back and says goodbye to his mom (this subtle change may have caused changes) 4. The timeline where Barry saves his Mom (Flashpoint) 5. The timeline where Barry lets RF kill his mom, creating our current Prime timeline.
And that doesn’t count:
6. When Barry traveled back in time to stop Weather Wizard from destroying Central City 7. When Barry traveled back in time to S1 to talk to RF
And the Legends have time traveled on at least 23 occasions and they are not very good at staying hidden and not causing collateral damage.
Sara Lance (White Canary) also tried to kill Damien Darkh in the past at least once (before he could kill her sister in S4 of Arrow), and when she decided to let him live, bragged about him losing in S4 so he decided to travel through time with RF, which I’m sure will affect the timeline.
And that’s not counting what else RF has been up to, like trying to blow up New York in the 1945. Everyone should be mad at RF for putting everything into motion. He cause the original time aberration by going back and killing Barry’s Mom.
Not to mention, Barry was gone for 3 months during Flashpoint from the prime timeline, Cisco’s brother dying and Caitlyn having powers could have occurred regardless of Flashpoint.
