#laurel lance

LIVE

I was watching the arrow and I got to the end of s4 where they kill Laurel off and I’m sobbing I HATE how they forced Oliver and Felicity together :/ him and Laurel had such good development and their bond was so deep and they had such natural chemistry their personalities fit so well together; I hate that they sidelined them for that other ship why does this literally always happen to me wtf

I was working at the local bar in town, but it was still early so not many people were here yet. I was currently just cleaning the glasses when a tall, well dressed looking man walked in. He took a seat at the end of the bar away from everyone. He sighed and placed his head in his hands. I frowned slightly and walked over to him.

“Can I get you anything, Darlin’” I asked and he looked up at me with a small smile that didn’t quite meet his eyes.

“Yeah, can I get whatever you think will get me drunk quickly?” He asked and I giggled.

“Somethin’ bad must’ve happened.” I said turning around to grab some alcohol so I could mix him a drink.

“You have no idea…” He sighed.

“Penny for your thoughts?” I asked as I placed the drink in front of him.

“My girlfriend cheated on me with her ex-boyfriend…” He sighed again.

“I’m sorry darlin’… I know that feeling.” I sighed and leant against the bar.

“Oh, really?” He asked as he took a sip of his drink.

“Yeah, my boyfriend just cheated on me with some little tramp.” I huffed.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” He said and I smiled at him.

“It’s alright, darlin. My ex got what he deserved when my Daddy heard what happened.” I laughed slightly at the memory.

“Do you mind me asking, what happened?” He asked and I leaned against the bar, propping my head up with a smile.

“Sure, my Daddy’s a big wig in this town, he’s the one not to mess with.” I smirked and giggled slightly.

“Oh he was fuming when he got word that Max had cheated on me. Him and his gang got together and threatened to beat him bloody! It took a lot of convincing on my part to get them to not do that. I just wanted to forget and move on, not have my Daddy kill ‘im.” I said and the man’s eyes widened.

“Oh…” He said, taking another sip of his drink.

“Don’t worry darlin’, Daddy doesn’t just hunt anyone that talks to me, otherwise this bar would never have customers.” I laughed and he joined in.

“Your break up story seems a little more interesting than mine.” He said and I grabbed him another drink.

“Why don’t you tell me about yours, it might help you feel better.” I suggested and he smiled.

“Alright…” He took a deep breath and looked down at his glass.

“My girlfriend, Laurel, we’ve been good friends for years before we got together. I guess I was just a rebound, because her boyfriend, my best friend, went missing along with his father and her sister. It turns out he was cheating on her with her own sister, but Oliver was always a player. I helped her through everything and finally after three years Laurel and I got together. We were happy, or I thought we were… Oliver ended up coming back to us five years later and Laurel chose him once again…” He sighed and placed his head in his hands. I gently placed my hand on his arm and gave him a sad smile.

“I’m sorry darlin’, no one deserves that.” I said and he smiled.

“I can’t believe you’re so positive after a break up like that.” He said and I laughed.

“Well, if I’m bein’ honest, I was heartbroken. I mean, me and Max had been together for five years and it turns out this wasn’t the first time he had done it. There were a bunch of girls. I just decided that he doesn’t deserve my tears and that I’m better off without ‘im.” I said and his smile grew.

“You’re amazing, um…”

“Y/N” I finished.

“Y/N.” He smiled and my heart fluttered a bit at hearing my name.

“I’m Tommy.” He said and I smiled.

“Well, it’s nice to meet you Tommy.” I said. I just knew this was gonna be the start of a great friendship.

Truth. I dunno if she’s mid-pullup when this was taken or if she’s holding at that 90 degree angle…either way is awesome, but if she’s holding it nothing’ but love here.
