Day 9 is over… And for the first time today (though still sick) I had some energy. I got up and did about 25 minutes of yoga this morning! Which is more activity (other than walking to and from work) than I’ve had since I stated. That was good enough for me. Looking forward to seeing how I feel tomorrow.

It is the morning of day 8 and I’m still sick. Day 7 I spent my day off in bed resting, playing video games and eating Whole30 friendly broth and soup. I was hoping today I would be feeling better :( but I still feel like poop… BUT I am super happy that I have jumped into week two successfully. Today, I’m gonna stay in bed until I have to work… Then come home and get back into bed. Will post pictures and recipes of dinner when I get there.

Day 6 I woke up from a weird ass dream with an intense head cold, a headache (that I must admit did pass after a few glasses of water) and some crazy diarrhea. TMI? I don’t care. I feel like shit and I’m super glad tomorrow is my day off. It’s interesting though because when we did the half Whole30 (around 2 weeks), I got sick around day 6/7 as well. Maybe it’s my body processing? I don’t know. But what I DO know, is this sucks and that I’m posting this from the toilet. ;)

Well, today was a fun one. My girlfriend was on a rage of mass proportions. I blame it on cravings. She wanted a cookie so bad last night that she threw a fit. And this morning was really hard for her so I did my best to soothe her sugar dragon with a kick ass dinner. We had steaks, potatoes and some broccoli. Yum! She is a lot happier now with a full tummy. Day 4 was a happy success! Bring on the other 26 days!

Lunch was BOMB. Don’t let the gross pic confuse you, it was AMAZING. Last night for dinner we made crockpot rotisserie chicken with sweet and russet potatoes. Lunch was left overs. Omg droll.

Last night my girlfriend and I decided to hit the grocery store, for completing the Whole30 a couple days ago she said she would buy me a small piece of candy… When I got to the grocery store I stood in the candy isle for a good 5 minutes just staring at it all…. And I didn’t want anything. TBH, I almost cried. Where was my LUST for sour patch kids!? Why wasn’t I drooling for peanut butter cups!? Instead of candy, I asked if she could buy me hummus…. I missed hummus so much. AND I WAS LEGIT EXCITED THAT SHE BOUGHT ME HUMMUS!? Wtf is wrong with me you guys….?

Whole30 Day 31…
This morning I woke up and had a single salted caramel chocolate with my breakfast. It was amazing… And surprisingly, all I needed (when it came to sugar). I don’t plan on ordering myself a pizza tonight, I plan on having some grilled chicken, potatoes and veggies. For lunch I don’t plan on having a huge sandwich, I’m going to have home made chicken soup with home made bone broth… What’s AMAZING about Whole30, is that when you’re done, your cravings for junk are pretty much gone. Most of the beginning of my Whole30 I was so excited for it to be over so I could have some Thai food, wine and pizza… But I’m actually not CRAVING it. Don’t get me wrong, those will be meals I will be having in the future, but I’m not in any rush to get there…

But here’s the stuff you are REALLY interested in, my Before/After stats…
January 3rd 2017 - 250lbs with a 41 inches waist.
February 3rd, 2017 - 234.4lbs with a 38 inch waist.

My only form of working out during this Whole30 was walking, I walked a mile to and from work every day.
I definitely would recommend Whole30 to anyone looking to change the way they relate with food and to jumpstart a healthy lifestyle.
