So, I’m making these little chibi-pages to add after every comic page, since it’s just one page per ‘chapter’ otherwise. Here I don’t need them, but I don’t wanna keep them from you, so I think I’ll just upload them every five chapters or so. :) Hope you enjoy!
Summary: Egon decides to hang around. (Note: I NEED THIS OK!)
About a week after the dubbed ‘Gozer the Return’ incident, the Spengler family along with the remaining ghostbusters and Janine all worked to fix up the house. The main rooms were given a wall peel, then sanded and painted and plans were being made as to how the kitchen, dining and living room would be fixed up. Callie opted to keep some parts of Egon’s planning present if only as a reminder that things are definitely not all that they seem.
The barn needed to be fixed as well, Ray swore he’d make it a running shop for Trevor to work in on cars and the like. The area that lead to the lab would be made invisible to the naked eye, to keep unwanted visitors from snooping, and the main lab was being set to rights by Phoebe. She’d been working nearly nonstop for the past three days as she processed all that had happened, primarily the fact that she isn’t as alone as she thought she would. She swore she’d feel someone tapping her shoulder at times, as if to remind her that she did need rest, but she chalked it up to her exhausted brain.
That is until one night the chess board that lives in her room found it self on her bed. All the pieces where set, whites facing the room and blacks her pillows, as if someone had done so on purpose.
“Trevor, were you in my room?” Phoebe called out.
“Nope, and I think mom’s been out with Gary all day so neither of them could have been,” Trevor yelled back.
The Ray, Peter and Winston had opted to stay in town to check out the place so it couldn’t have been them.
Phoebe closed the door and when she faced her bed, a wide smile lit up her face as the spectral form of her grandfather took shape.
Egon gave her a wink and satisfied half grin before moving a peon.
Phoebe approached him slowly, curiously. And took a chance a closer look in a more light space.
He admired her curiosity and let her maneuver his arm as she pleased. Further study could continue later, right now, she needed to decompress. Lord knows she has more than her fair share of questions to ask. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze and motioned for the board.
Phoebe took her place at the head of the bed and proceeded to start what she hoped would be the second of many games to come.
I forgot to post these back in January. When I finally got to set a day aside to watch ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’. ‘Still the best night of my year so far! Had snacks, popcorn, Chinese takeaway, the artbook, my favourite wine held up inside my Ghost trap tin box and had a slap-up breakfast.
I even ordered some Twinkies, Cheez-Its and Crunch bars online. While the latter didn’t arrive in time (not that I needed more than night), it was fun trying the first two for the very first time - since we don’t have them in the UK. I even went out of my way to buy the Stay-Put and Ecto-1 popcorn containers from eBay. Aye, scalpers are a pain in the arse, but only option for someone outside the US; Absolutely worth it.
I was hoping to try and make the bus journey to the nearest city to see it in the cinema; but it was December, and other things got in the way. Though I’m glad I didn’t in the end. I couldn’t have had a great set-up like that. Especially since I watched the first film right before it. It made spotting all the little details in Afterlife all the better. It’s also a good thing I was on my own, because I cried like a baby for two hours afterwards.
Even while I marathon all three films tonight for Ghostbusters Day, I’ll be raising a glass for you Harold!

Considered the standard reference guide to known ghosts, goblins, spooks, specters, demons, and other supernatural entities. While the origins of the Guide are murky—Tobin was either an Oxford graduate who traveled extensively to research the supernatural, a Cambridge graduate who exposed fraudulent mediums, or the chronicler for a group of ageless beings from the beginning of time)—and it is unknown how Tobin managed to gain information on so many extremely dangerous creatures, it is generally agreed that it was researched in the early 1900s and first published in the 1920s, and its information is almost unfailingly accurate. Since then, despite its niche appeal it has been republished many times including leather-bound, hardcover, paperback, pocket, and very expensive electronic editions. The information it contains has occasionally been of use in saving the world.

While Tobin’s Spirit Guide is first mentioned in the original movie, it doesn’t actually show up on the big screen until Ghostbusters: Afterlife in 2021. It has, however, showed up in a variety of other material, starting with The Real Ghostbusters cartoon [1986-1991] and including several comics series, board games, video games, RPGs, and even an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. As I’m sure you can imagine the designs were rarely consistent, even those from a single source like the cartoon, but this one is fairly representative.
The Ghostbusters reacting to seeing a bug/spider in their house, more than likely:
Ray: knows the exact species and thinks it’s cool
Egon: straight up about to experiment on this innocent insect
Peter: screams like a little bitch and probably makes Dana kill it
Winston: puts it in a cup and takes it outside
BONUS
Janine: knows it kills flies, and she hates flies so she leaves it alone cause lord knows baby girl has bigger problems
Dana: waits for Peter to stop freaking out and lets the spider out a window
Walter Peck: also freaks out but manages to keep from screaming like a little girl, probably gets that neurotic look on his face like we saw in the mayor’s office
Night of the Creeps but in my version the Ghostbusters have to come stop the creeps from taking over people’s bodies and all four of these men are given flamethrowers which is a questionable decision but also the only solution, WATCH the chaos ensue
