applique.
This Jacket was designed to invoke the lost art of the HUNTRESS, the lioness of the tribe who fiercely protects her pack through the hunt.
For the Black version it is crafted out of sheepskin and rabbit fur .

On the Street | Crazy in love with the color blush, pink coats are so gorgeous. Just like roses in the middle of winter, perfection.

Notes:
This is a great coat pattern. It is fitted but hugs the body in a flattering way. Pattern is rated for average skill level which is fairly accurate. Nothing too difficult but lots of steps. I didn’t have any trouble following the instructions but I did wish there are more details on some of the finishing steps on hem and sleeves. Extra illustrations would be helpful too. I found it strange there weren’t more details on attaching the ribbon trim though. Depending on the ribbon you use, one would need to either curve it with heat or use a gathering stitch.
Fabric choose is important here. When working with thick fabric the front band and the pocket top could get a bit too thick.
Possible improvement: I will switch out the front interface to use lining fabric instead of coating fabric.
OUTFIT | DELIKATESSEN
Time to present you guys one of my favorite combos these days: Hooded sweater, wool coat and some ripped jeans. Probably the easiest way to keep yourself warm, comfy and stylish these days. Huge thanks to the lovely Sophie from WE BANDITS at this point. She not only introduced me to the dutch brandDelikatessen with this coat, but also gave it to me as an early christmas present! Those of you seeing me from time to time, might have noticed that I’m definitely proud to wear this masterpiece. But let’s also talk about these sneakers! I bought this winter boot version of the Roshe Run back in the US, while visiting Dover Street Market on my last day in New York. They’re super light and fur-lined at the inside… Happy to have them!
Meine persönlicher Stil besteht wie so vieles im Leben aus Phasen. Einen Look, den ich derzeit besonders feier, ist dieser: Hoodie, Wollmantel und destroyed Jeans. Eine Kombo, die bequem ist, stylisch aussieht und bei diesen Temperaturen warm hält. Dass dieser Mantel von Delikatessen dabei das Highlight ist, liegt auf der Hand. Dass ich ihn überhaupt besitze habe ich der liebenswerten Sophie von WE BANDITS zu verdanken. Sie hat mir das holländische Label nicht nur vorgestellt, sondern aus diesem Mantel gleich ein kleines (oder großes) Vorweihnachtsgeschenk gemacht… Wer mich des Öfteren sieht, weiß mit welcher Freude ich ihn trage. Aber kommen wir noch kurz zu einer meiner Shopping-Errungenschaften aus New York. Ich habe mir diese Roshe Run Winter Boots am letzten Tag meines Trips gegönnt. Ort des Verbrechens: Dover Street Market.
