I have never played any of the Witcher games. I saw season 1 when it first came out and remember nothing about it, and I have only seen mere gifs of season 2…
BUT based on those gifs it seems like Jaskier bagged both Geralt and Yennifer and honestly good for him
Yennefer of Vengerberg The beautiful Anya Chalotra playing Yen in The Witcher by Netflix. Loved her story so much (this part was missing in the books so I’m glad they’ve decided to show Yen’s journey in the first episodes).
Geralt laughed and Jaskier smiled, rubbing their noses together. He realized that they’ve started swaying slowly to the music. Jaskier rested his cheek on Geralt’s shoulder, closing his eyes with a small sigh.
“This is really nice.” He murmured.
“Hmm.” He felt Geralt’s lips in his hair.
Jaskier smiled against Geralt’s shoulder. “So, you do know how to dance.”
Geralt snorted, shaking his head. “This is hardly considered dancing.”
Jaskier clicked his tongue. “Would it kill you to take a compliment for once?”
“I believe it would be fatal, yes.”
Jaskier laughed and Geralt felt amazing that he was the reason for that.
Before Jaskier could even finish his sentence, there was a pair of strong but gentle hands grabbing at his hips. Geralt leaned in, nuzzling the back of his head, and placing a feather-light kiss just below his ear.
“I love this look on you.” Geralt murmured into his ear and Jaskier couldn’t help but to shiver at the way he sounded.
Jaskier slowly turned to face him, wrapping his arms around Geralt’s neck, and pulling him into a deep kiss. Geralt smiled into the kiss, tightening his hold on Jaskier’s hips. Geralt rubbed their noses together when they broke apart and Jaskier chuckled at the adorable gesture.
Geralt going from “Why the fuck do I need to watch over this reckless, hyperactive kid, with his annoying songs and 0 sense of self preservation. So what if he’s cute?” to “Holy shit, when did this kid turn 40 and why does that beard and that hair look so ridiculously hot on him? When did I manage to fall in love with this wonderful idiot??”
okay, but geralt is such a flirt once he feels comfortable enough with the right person. imagine him and jaskier being together for a couple of years and geralt starts flirting with him. all of the time.

“yes, dear?”
“have you looked in the mirror today?”
“um, no. why you ask?”
“just thought it’s unfair that i’m the only one who gets to enjoy this beautiful view”.

and it’s so bad and so cheesy and jaskier absolutely lovesit.
jaskier, who shows his affection by holding geralt’s hand, kissing his knuckles, calling him sweet names, kissing him, writing him love songs.
geralt, who isn’t used to being affectionate in that way. but during the early mornings, while he thinks jaskier is still asleep, geralt lies on his side, facing jaskier. he caresses the younger man’s face, staring at him with a soft smile.
“The merman scowled, teeth flashing in light, clearly agitated, but his next words were painstakingly enunciated. ‘A little mer should not smell of fear and pain.”
Geralt is based off a white tipped reef shark
Jaskier based off a batfish (known to sing ba ba ba’s in a chorus) and mer design heavily inspired by this artist whose monster designs are awesome
