A bit late to greet you all a happy new year. Just an update from me since I haven’t posted in a while…
I dropped two subjects last semester due to my lack of foundation in those two subjects as some of the topics I missed when I got sick with COVID really affected my grades so much that I couldn’t catch up with the load of topics I had to study.
It was a difficult decision to make knowing that I’ll graduate later than my friends and my peers. I know that I had to do it for my future patients. I don’t want to face my patients knowing that I don’t have the knowledge and clinical skills needed to treat them. Despite having to drop 2 subjects, I performed really well with the rest of my courses and Im glad I did what I had to do
Sometimes it’s also important to know when to stop. Stopping at one point does not mean you’re giving up. It only means you’re resting and preparing yourself for another journey to you own success.
(Lol idk what im saying but you kinda get the point, right?)
Has anyone done a creative writing masters? I’m 21m in the UK currently at university. I’ve always wanted to do creative writing. I’m just about done with my history degree. I’ve been accepted to do a creative writing master as some pretty good unis but I’m now trying to decide if the extra work money and stress will pay off or if I should just go get a job. To those of you who have a creative writing masters do you think you have benefited either as a writer or in terms of employability?
Sneak Peek: Reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo felt like reading a giant love letter written by someone who’s been bottling up all their love their entire life finally letting it all out. I felt the same sort of comfort and relief you feel after you have a good long cry. There are just so many things that I loved about this book I don’t even know where to start.
28.05.2022 // Don’t ask me why I’m drinking my water out of a lemonade bottle with a straw. You gotta do what you gotta do okay? Anyway, my goal in life is to be as chill as that lemon honestly. I’ll let you know when I get there lmao (don’t hold your breath). ALSO I binged Stranger Things S4 last night and once again was reminded how good this goddamn show is!!
27.05.2022 // I keep forgetting to post this review on my bookstagram!!! Reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo felt like I was reading a beautiful love letter written by a person who has so much love but doesn’t know how to express it. It felt so refreshing even at the end. Also, I got these BTS themed earrings from NevermindDesignShop on Etsy aren’t they adorable?

24.05.2022 // Love it in the early morning when the library is practically empty. Never mind accidentally catching the wrong bus and being half an hour late because I’m too tired to function. Anyways, if someone can yell at me to proofread my work on a daily basis, I’d greatly appreciate it.
29.05.2022 // Today felt like a real lazy day… I spent most of my time on tumblr -_- But I’m still trying to get used to Google Calendar and slowly working through final revision. You may have seen my 30dop challenge post, so imma try out my own prompt: do I prefer country or city? Definitely country, ever since I can remember I’ve loved the countryside, even if it can be inconvenient sometimes
So I’ve been doing this 30 day productivity (30dop) challenge and I didn’t intend on making it a proper challenge when I started but some people have been showing interest so I thought I’d just lay out some basics and also give you some prompts! By no means am I suggesting that I created this challenge, I know a lot of people do things like this, I just wanna help some people out.
The basics of what you need to know:
This challenge is open to ANYONE, studying, working, preparing for something, people who are just bored
You can start this challenge at any time during the year
‘Productivity’ is a purely subjective term. You may classify simply reading a book as making a day productive (it really does)
So basically, do at least one thing you consider productive, every day for 30 days!
Tag your challenge posts with #30dop so others can follow along; I’ll track this tag but may not reblog
If you dowant me to interact and reblog your posts, tag the posts #heydilli(this is my tracking tag so you can use this for other posts too)

Some additional info in case you’re worried about any of this:
You don’t have to use the prompts I provide, they are optional (I probably won’t even use them for my own posts tbh)
Don’t stress if you post late/miss a few days, everyone knows I’m struggling too

Basically this is a very open-ended challenge you can mould it and change it however you want to suit your preferences/needs

I started working on my project using overleaf yesterday. So far I’ve completed one out of the four sections that I need to do, I just have to finish off two moreproofs and then I’ll be done.
Currently working on my mini project for Rings and Modules, I honestly have no idea of what I’m meant to be doing. I’ve been reading through the materials that are required for the project and started taking some notes but I have no idea on how it should be structured and what I should include in the report.
