Another sketch on the crossover with Bloodborne, another Hidan. When I come back to this fandom it’s very hard to stop, the fandom is super addictive. I was tempted to launch the game, but if that happened, you would have lost me for a long time.

After a long time of reflection, I decided to classify Hidan as a Vileblood, the loyal knights of the immortal queen Annalisa, sworn enemies of the Church of Healing, reveling in hunting and proud of every corpse of the slain monster. Although their manners and pretentious clothes in jewerly did not fit well with his careless character. In order not to lose touch with the knights, I worked on simplification: fewer lace and ribbons. In more detail, I would have given him a simple doublet with a minimum of embroidery, while leaving the caftan with golden creepers; the shirt would have gone to hell with the collar and sleeves.

Although the knights weapon is a rapier, and the scythe is the same with the story for the whole game, the Chicage blade, “filled with blood and strength, but corroding the very essence of the owner”, perfectly suited Hidan.

ANBU!Hidan headcanon isn’t new, but it’s voluminous and informative. It contains a lot of original ideas and cliché which some of you can be tired of, but they are in quite a widespread usage anyways. In this headcanon case, everything started cut and dry with war. When the threat of the fourth great ninja war became obvious and Shinobi Alliance was in the status of implementation, Hokage decided to summon all of the village’s military resources. When the question of troupes mobilization became acute, as well as the necessity to act swiftly to prevent a possible enemy attack on the country, it was decided to use as all the convicted in the Land of Fire territory criminals as war units.

Hidan was one of these criminals. Despite Shikamaru Nara’s great discontent, Hidan was dug out and given a choice: to fight alongside Konoha or to be buried once again. In Naruto Shippuden we couldn’t see Hidan’s loyalty to the Akatsuki, thus I decided it would be it out of his character to refuse or to be too prideful, so he accepted the offer to become Konoha’s ally.

By the end of the war in which Obito, Madara and Kaguya had been defeated, Hidan became a Shinobi in law and pledged allegiance to Konoha.

Everything wasn’t going smoothly, but let’s talk about that next time when I post another artwork.

In an interview, Kishimoto said the following about Hidan: “When he’s in a trap, he’s one of those guys, who will do everything possible”. I agree. Because Hidan is a great warrior, one of the best in the “Naruto”. And this art should be shown his desire to fight to the end.

This art is not festive at all. But Hidan’s birthday gave me an incentive to draw him. I think this person may have experienced something traumatic and terrifying. We just don’t wanna to think about it.

The first hour in a “Prey”. No guns, no abilities, only your legs. And turrets, which u need to carry with u.

As you may have guessed, the relationship between Shikamaru and Hidan was strained. Since Shikamaru did not find support in his protest against the mobilization of the criminal, in peacetime he opposed restricting Hidan’s freedom of movement. The Sixth Hokage accepted this idea, and for one year Hidan received a ban on leaving Konoha, and at the same time a squad of guards.

Due to the cautious attitude towards him, Hidan did not receive tasks as a Konoha’s ninja for a long time. Despite his position as a jounin, he lived on the outskirts in poverty and often received refusals from employees of shops or cafes who did not want to serve the former criminal. Even the houses of the red quarter often didn’t want him as a guest.

Anyway, Hidan treated everything indifferently, didn’t resent and did not file complaints, did his lil work well and soon, when Naruto took office as Hokage, he was able to receive more tasks and prove himself an excellent Shinobi of the old generation.

@MATERIALS@

- 2 PVC pipes (yes two, and one has to be bigger than the other, big enough so the small one fits inside it)

-a sheet of acrylic board (it’s at Menards for like 10 dollars)

-red spray paint

-white acrylic paint

- that sealer stuff (workstiff or whatever it called)

- rope (use a rope that is ribbon, you can find it at Joann’s, most conventions don’t allow real rope)

-white fabric (i used some cheap fabric at Walmart)

-Hot glue

- A maker or sharpie

- Sawzall or a sharp cutter similar

STEP ONE- The Base

Take the small PVC pipe and spray the shit out of it with the red spray paint. You don’t have to spray the bottom half (i did) because you will be putting the fabric on the bottom for the handle.

Next cut the white fabric into strips (or one long strip) and wrap it around the PVC. It doesn’t have to be neat. Only go about 1/3 to ½ up the PVC

Next, take that rope out and just hot glue it inside of the bottom of the PVC pipe. I filled the bottom with hot glue but you don’t have to do that

image

BOOM the base is done! Now the blades are a little trickier

STEP 2- Blades

There are three blades on Hidan’s scythe. The bottom blade is the smallest and the top blade is the largest. My blades on my scythe are thicker than Hidan’s in the anime but, it was my choice cause I wanted it to be sturdier

So take out the sheet of acrylic, and draw the shape of the blades out on the sheet (it’s okay cause you’ll spray paint them later). Using the sawzall, cut out the blades that you drew!

Next, you’ll spray paint the blades red (note to be very careful doing this cause the paint can crack easily and ruin the acrylic. (I messed up the first time and had to by a shet of acrylic)

image

Now if you look at Hidan’s scythe in the anime, you’ll notice that the tops of the blades are white. So, using painters tape, tape out the part where you want the white line and then paint over the red.

image

Like this! After it dries, spray it with the workstiff to keep it together! (Also for the white you can use spray paint but I decided to use acrylic)

STEP 3- Putting it together!

Now, my original plan was to cut off the backs of the blades and hot glue them to the larger PVC but my dad had a better idea.

Using you’re niffy Sawzall, cut three slits into the small PVC  (the base of the scythe) the size about an inch from the back of the blade. Here’s a diagram:

image

Now just shove the bade you made into its corresponding hole. The paint job could get slightly messed up in this process, but it can be touched up. I actually bought red acrylic paint as well for this reason

image

It’s SOOOOO close but something’s off~

take out the big PVC and cut it the same size as the slits (so you’ll have three chunks of PVC).  You take out the Sawzall and cut the pieces in half! (don’t forget which half belongs to which piece)

After that, you paint these pieces white. You can use the acrylic or I had some white spray paint around to use.

The pieces, after they’ve dried, go over top of the small PVC where the blade is:

image

(ignore that it’s a crappy drawing but it works) you use the hot glue to glue the pieces of large PVC onto the small PVC/blade

AND FINALLY IT IS DONE!!

image

A convention approved Hidan scythe that isn’t made of cardboard!! Mine is about 5ft tall so just be careful about where you swing it. If you want to make it shorter, just cut the small PVC down to a better size for you :)

I hope you enjoyed… this was my first tutorial. Thank you all for reading!!
