This season has been the best season for TWD in a looooooong time. I still love this show, but even I know the plots were repetitive. But season 10 has proved different. They went back to the roots of the show and created something new.
MICHONNE/DANAI GURIRA WAS BOSS THIS EPISODE. I FUCKING LOVE HER.
I knew there was something off with Virgil. I didn’t trust him. I was right to an extent. While he had a sad backstory, I don’t appreciate him locking up his own people, Michonne, and proceeding to fucking drug her to make a point.
Michonne’s story began with Andrea. Andrea was her home and she brought her to Rick in a way. The fact that if Michonne proceeded to let Andrea die, all these events would’ve taken place for her to be Negan’s right-hand and Glenn and Heath’s killer. Not to mention the man she loved would’ve been her end.
I knew they were writing Michonne off so Danai could do the new show with Lupita, but I LOVE THE WAY THEY DID IT. She knows there’s a chance for Rick to be alive. And she’s gonna do whatever it takes to find him, dead or alive. The fact that Judith was so mature as to accept it made my heart swell. Also, R.J. is fucking precious. Hopefully this means Rick will finally know he has another child in the world.
Um…KingBach from Vine got to be on the Walking Dead? And he was actually a decent actor? I’d like to see more of him, but it seems we won’t get to see Michonne for a long time.
This episode was crazy, but in a good way. I hope Season 10 ends on a good note, especially now that Beta has to be Alpha.

I’d also like to imagine that Alice is in the trees - pushing Bella in certain directions, to ensure she doesn’t fly out onto the road or anything
And Jasper is perched in his own tree- with a basket of darts. Every so often there would be a pop, and Bella would be slightly lower than she was before
Holy heck I can’t help but imagine the school talent shows the Cullens have done over the years, and them having to do the craziest things possible while still appearing human
Alice has juggled 15 apples at once, held Emmett over her head, ate fire, made a dress in under a minute, and one year did a one woman production of Annie - start to finish
Rosalie has planked with Emmett on her back, deadlifted more than triple her weight, and has been roped into performances via both Alice’s ballet AND musical phase
Jasper does whip tricks, and he plays the banjo. hes never been super duper into school events, but he’ll do anything Alice asks him to , and he loves showing off to her
Emmett has done anything and everything you could possibly imagine one could in a talent show. He loves to dance, and sing, and break things, and tell bad jokes - this man has done it ALL! His favourite performance would be “the stage fire of 76’ “ from when his puppet show went horribly wrong
Eddie has only ever played the piano, cuz he’s a lil punk
And you can bet your butt he most certainly has played Backstreet boys- at Emmett’s request
And obvi this goes without saying- esme is THERE for every single performance! And she cheers and whistles and gives a standing ovation every single time !!
(Carlisle of course will always go when he can, but also he’s a busy man, cut him a break )

I think Rosie and Emmett would love to just skate round and round, with the occasional twirl and trick. I think it would be an activity that really shows how graceful Emmett is capable of being. It’s just very sweet and gentle to think about

With the announcement of HBO buying the rights to one of my absolute favourite TV shows and the further announcement of it getting a reboot next year, I have decided to do a mashup post.
SO , I want to give my thoughts on Twilight Characters and their Degrassi counterparts. Please feel free to tell me if you disagree or agree or have anything to add.
Bella:
Clare Edwards. Clare is a character that is shown time and time again to be passionate about her interests (journalism and writing) and is loyal to her friends when they are in need. She also is seen by some of her friends to have a strong affect on boys (queue ‘I will never understand the affect Clare Edwards has on Men’) like How Bella shows up and miraculously all the men are attracted to her. She finds herself caught in multiple love stories where she learns to stick up for herself and must make decisions about what she truly wants.
Edward:
Craig Manning. Craig shows up and instantly has girls frothing at the mouth for him. He’s dramatic and broody and doesn’t really give up when it comes to finding what he wants. He is talented with Music similar to Edward and also like Edward will often come off as very intense when expressing his feelings towards others. He also leaves his girlfriend at the time (Manny) at the drop of a hat just like Edward does to Bella in New Moon.
Jacob:
Zig Novak. He goes after the same girl many times, and most of the times he decides to make a move is while shes in a relationship, thus creating romantic tension and a love triangle. He is also a lot of muscle and uses his knowledge of the world around him to protect himself and others on many occasions, such as Jake using his knowledge of the Wolves and the forest.
Alice:
Imogen Moreno. She knows who she wants to be friends with and knows what she has to do to become close to them. Often she will drop into conversations randomly with cryptic messages. She also has a very eclectic fashion sense. All of these are pretty much identical to Alice IMO.
Jasper :
Sean Cameron, He has a dark past that he isn’t proud of and often will have time controlling his anger, but all in all he wants to be better and often will lean on his significant other to see what he should be doing morally.
Emmett:
Spinner Mason, The epitome of a himbo, just as Emmett is. Sure in the beginning of the series Spinner was often problematic, but he wanted to learn and once he did he became a reliable source of support for all his friends. He is also super tough and does ‘whatever it takes’ to look after people on many occasions.
Rosalie:
Paige Michalchuk. Paige is queen B at Degrassi for many years. She is gorgeous and confident while still wanting to be there for those she cares about. Much like Rosalie, Paige has also had an unfortunate history with men and it gave her a fire to fight back and look out for others in the future.
Carlisle:
Marco Del Rossi. Marco is the dad friend. He is super smart and wants to put his skills to good uses such as running a blood drive for the school. He always looks out for others (except in a few random episodes) and does his best to make sure that his friends voices are heard.
Esme :
Holly J Sinclair. I’ll be honest it took me a while to think of who matched Esme and the best I could come to was Holly J in her later seasons. In the beginning holly J is definitely nt kind or caring, but I feel that these parts of herself come out more in her later seasons, especially in the Fiona storylines where she is so caring and helpful in trying to help Fiona with working out her sexuality.
Charlie :
Principal Archie Simpson. He is an absolute angel that is not getting paid enough for the amount he has to deal with from these kids. He constantly has to try and hand out advice to children that often aren’t listening and will stand there dumbfounded while still being supportive of their decisions.
Seth :
Adam Torres. Adam is the best, he is the best boy and I love him. When Adam is on screen I have the same fun filled reaction to when I see Seth. Adam is young but he just wants to fit in with his friends and be able to do all the cool things that his brother does even if it gets him into trouble. He wants everyone to get along while still making sure to stand up for himself.
Leah :
Many Santos, She is a bad-ss. Manny has had a few failed romances but she never lets it hold her back, she uses that as a fire to go and get what she wants get it while scaring you half to death.
Alice lay stretched out on the bed, the silk of her night-dress hugging her body tightly and showing all the curves of her body. Bella felt her mouth go dry looking at the way her friend displayed herself. She caressed Alice’s cheek before leaning in to kiss her. Alice rested a hand on her shoulder but let Bella take most of the control, parting her lips only when Bella’s tongue slid across her mouth.
“You didn’t peek, right?” Bella confirmed. She pressed her teeth into the flesh of Alice’s lower lip. They had agreed that Alice wouldn’t bite, but that didn’t mean Bella couldn’t.
“I promised you I wouldn’t,” Alice reminded her. “I have no idea what you’re going to do.”
Bella nodded and kissed her again, tasting inside Alice’s mouth this time. The other girl tasted so sweet. Alice’s tongue moved to prod back against hers, gliding across Bella’s and tangling even as her hands lifted to push through the long strands of Bella’s hair. As they kissed, one of Bella’s hand found a breast and began to gently roll it between her fingers. A thumb brushed under Alice’s nipple. The vampire moaned in answer and arched so her breast was pushed farther against Bella’s touch.
Bella continued squeezing and rolling Alice’s breast until she felt the nipple strain against the fabric of the night-dress. Only then did she move her hand away to repeat the action on the other breast. Alice let out another moan of pleasure, fingers tightening just a little in Bella’s hair. Bella’s other hand started sliding up Alice’s leg, pushing against the silk and feeling it give easily. Alice lifted her hips so Bella could hike the dress up to her waist.
The lacy fabric covering Alice felt so flimsy that Bella felt even she with her human strength could probably tear it off. She was careful, though, moving her finger under the waistband and guiding it down. Alice’s legs were parted for her when she got back to them.
“Wow, Alice. You’re so wet already,” Bella awed. She rubbed against the vampire’s wetness, then pushed a finger inside. Alice let out a gasp and tensed for a second before relaxing. A second finger soon followed.
“Bella,” Alice called out. “I can take more.”
“Like this?” Bella folded in a third finger and pushed in. Alice immediately bucked toward her, answering the question. Bella’s own arousal was pulsing between her legs and she barely suppressed a whine even as she started thrusting her fingers inside Alice.
“Bella… yes, like that.” Alice draped a leg around Bella to open herself even more.
Bella worked her fingers at a steady pace, Alice lifting up to meet every thrust. Their lips stayed locked together, separating only so Bella could breathe. She began bucking her own hips as she worked. Alice’s hands slid down her back to her ass and squeezed.
“See? This is why you should wear nightgowns, Bella.”
“I’ll remember for later.” For now, Alice pushed down the sweatpants Bella wore as pajamas, using the heel of her foot to nudge more. There was a bit of wiggling but eventually Bella got the pants off. “No underwear, though,” Bella pointed out.
“I’ll remember that for later,” Alice promised. She squeezed Bella’s ass again before sliding a hand underneath. “Mmm, so wet,” she purred.
“Alice.” Bella bucked against the fingers caressing her, distractedly moving her own. Alice’s cold fingers continued to brush against her, rubbing gently at first and then with more pressure. Bella tried to mimic it with her thumb so her own fingers could keep filling Alice.
They worked at each other like that. Lips sometimes met lips, and other times pressed against other portions of skin. Bella immediately craned her neck the moment Alice kissed her there. Between the kissing and the thrusts and free hands moving over each other’s bodies, they were soon bringing each other to their climaxes.
Bella could anticipate what happened next: Alice flipping her over, spreading her open, and licking her clean. Bella ground up against that cold tongue, urging it inside her. Alice obliged her, thrusting in hard and fast until Bella came again with a cry.
“Vibrators,” Alice said suddenly. Bella was too dazed to make sense of the word at first. She groaned and gave the other girl a stare.
“You said you wouldn’t peek.”
“I’m making a suggestion!”
“Fine.” Bella shifted to cuddle up next to Alice. “Vibrators.”
You know, for Twilight being four books of almost everyone around her (I say almost because Charlie actually respected her decisions even if he didn’t like them) infantilizing Bella, acting as though she’s this confused little girl who doesn’t know anything, who can’t be trusted to make her own decisions, Bella was actually one of the fastest to figure things out
She figured out that the Cullens were other, based on their eye color and other patterns
She weaseled the legends out of Jacob and figured out they were vampires on her own
She outsmarted fucking Jasper, getting away from him to sacrifice herself at the dance studio
She was able to remember the legends and figure out that Jacob was a werewolf when she was in the midst of her haze of depression and numbness
But her most intuitive moments all come in Eclipse
She outsmarted Alice and Edward by making the snap decision to go to La Push before they could stop her
It took her a very short amount of time to figure out that Victoria was back when Jacob and Edward had their weirdly cryptic conversation about the night the wolves and coven chased her
She was the one who put it all together later, that it wasn’t the volturi creating the army or invading Bella’s house, it was the same vampire messing with Alice’s vision and entering her house as the one creating the army in Seattle. She even figured out that Victoria was involved, and she was right
Even later in Breaking Dawn, she outsmarts Edward by calling Rosalie to protect the baby, and later on, she’s the first to realize that the Volturi are coming because they think the Cullens created an immortal child.
Everyone around her acts as though she doesn’t know Jack shit, that she is nothing more than a human caught up in a world she doesn’t understand. But girl is smart, she could pick up on patterns the rest of them couldn’t, and figured out some of the most vital information of the series. She deserves more credit, sure she made horrible decisions with her love life, but she’s got some good intuition.
